Here is the General Hospital weekly recap for episodes that aired from February 16th through February 19th, 2026: Ric told Justine and Dante that Wiley said the keys Uncle Chase took were the same ones tied to Michael’s trouble, while Lulu and Tracy led Port Charles in honoring Luke’s life, and Nathan and Maxie locked eyes at the cemetery.
What happened on General Hospital?

This week on General Hospital, Valentine’s Day brought messy pairings and a surprising amount of axe-throwing. Ric took Elizabeth on a date, and she started guarded but leaned into the fun once she stopped overthinking it. Ric kissed her, and Liz let herself enjoy how easy it felt. Michael went with Jacinda, and Molly and Kristina showed up and caught Ric and Liz in the moment. Alexis learned that Molly had written a new book but did not want it published, since Cody might feel exposed. Kristina admitted she sent the manuscript to an agent anyway, convinced Molly’s work deserved a chance. Maxie learned that Nathan was alive and in Port Charles, and that Britt was alive as well. Nathan learned that Maxie woke up, and Obrecht immediately pushed for him to see her. Spinelli told Jason he was thrilled Maxie recovered, but was afraid she would choose Nathan. Jason urged him to let Maxie make the call. Later, Britt met Jason at the boathouse, and they kissed after she admitted she felt time closing in on her. Felicia kept the family grounded while Maxie adjusted to her new reality. Lucas confronted Marco about Sidwell. Marco admitted he knew Sidwell threatened Britt and claimed he stayed close to Sidwell because he wanted Sonny to pay for Natalia’s death. Lucas refused to go to the police and chose to stay at Wyndemere for now, believing Marco would not betray him. Pascal watched it all and treated Lucas like a problem waiting to be solved. Later, Lucas apologized to Carly for doubting her about Marco. He admitted Marco was tied to Sidwell’s business but would not share details and still refused to involve the police. Carly told him to leave Wyndemere, but Lucas insisted that Marco had promised to pull away once Sidwell’s current project ended. Tracy confronted Sidwell at Wyndemere about Deception. She told him the shipping arrangement needed to revert to the original deal now that Maxie had recovered and wanted to return to work. Sidwell refused to be pushed, ended the meeting, and had Pascal escort Tracy out. Pascal then reported Lucas had been eavesdropping and urged Sidwell to deal with him. Sidwell instructed Pascal to keep watch and made it clear that Lucas could not be allowed to interfere with Marco. Willow resigned from the hospital, telling Elizabeth her family had to come first. Liz hugged her and admitted the place would not feel the same without her. At the PCPD, Chase overheard Nathan say the Michael investigation stalled and pitched a theory: there was no forced entry at Drew’s house, so Michael may have had a key. Molly told Chase to stop meddling, but he pressed anyway. Nathan brought the idea to Dante and Justine, and Justine supported getting a warrant. Nathan served Michael with a search warrant for his keys, and Michael handed over his keyring, sure it would prove nothing. Dante and Michael also clashed at the Quartermaines after the warrant, with Dante saying Michael’s earlier lie about his alibi left him embarrassed for defending him. Michael said he wanted Dante on the case because he trusted him more than anyone to find the real shooter. At the station, Justine admitted she was biased and later turned the case over to ADA Arden, warning Dante to consider the optics for his own career. Chase kept escalating, insisting to Tracy that Michael shot Drew and arguing that Michael framed Willow, and Tracy told him he was in the wrong family if he could not let it go. Ric suggested the key alone did not place Michael at the shooting scene. Laura asked Alexis to consider filling Drew’s empty congressional seat. Alexis hesitated, but Laura argued Port Charles needed someone steady. Sidwell separately pitched Willow on taking Drew’s place. Nina then encouraged Willow to consider it, insisted Willow could do good, and urged her to place Drew in long-term care. On Wednesday, Alexis met with Molly and Suzanne, who pushed her to accept Laura’s offer. Alexis worried her past would be weaponized and that Scout would suffer for it, but Molly argued the job could show Scout resilience. Alexis decided to run. Lulu went to Laura and admitted she felt guilty for kissing Nathan while Maxie was in a coma. Laura told her to stop guessing and talk to Nathan. Dante gave Nathan similar advice, telling him to let Maxie set the pace. Spinelli admitted to Brook Lynn that he feared losing Maxie, and Brook Lynn told him Maxie would make her own choice, and he needed to stop assuming defeat. Kristina pressured Cody to read Molly’s manuscript to the end, and Cody finally started. Then forensics called Dante. Michael’s keyring contained a key to Drew’s house. Willow prepared for her children’s supervised visit and taunted Drew about the new custody arrangement. Alexis arrived to oversee the drop-off and asked to see Drew to gauge how Scout might react to him. Willow allowed it and explained that Drew communicated by blinking. Alone with Drew, Alexis spoke about Scout, and Drew blinked frantically, pushing beyond yes-or-no, blinking three short blinks, three long blinks, and three short blinks - the equivalent of SOS. Alexis asked if he was trying to tell her something, but the blinking seemed erratic to her, so she assumed he was upset and left. Later, Alexis told Willow she could not decipher what Drew tried to say. Ric brought Wiley and Amelia to the house, and Willow clung to them, crying as she hugged them. Liz arrived with cupcakes Aiden baked and reassured Willow. During the visit, Wiley mentioned that Michael had gone to the police because they had his keys, and he clarified that the keys were the ones Uncle Chase had taken. Willow flashed to placing a key on Michael’s ring earlier, but she stayed composed. At the station, Nathan and Dante questioned Michael. Michael denied the key and asked for counsel. Ric arrived and argued that finding the key did not prove that Michael placed it there. Justine and Dante agreed Michael would not be stupid enough to keep evidence on himself, but they still moved forward. Maxie came home to a decorated house and was welcomed by Mac, Felicia, Georgie, and James. Brook Lynn and Chase brought Bailey Lu, and Maxie thanked them for caring for her daughter. Lulu hugged Maxie, then Brook Lynn warned Lulu that she and Nathan needed to end their situation before Maxie found out. After the slideshow, Maxie took a walk to clear her head. Elsewhere, Brook Lynn told Chase she wanted to start their family, and they kissed. Willow later checked on Drew and administered another dose, telling him she could not let him tell Alexis what she was doing. Ric told Justine and Dante they had an eyewitness who handled Michael’s keys without reason: Officer Harrison Chase. Alexis met with Brook Lynn and Chase about restarting the adoption process, and they agreed to begin immediately. Nathan went to the cemetery to visit his own grave marker, and Maxie appeared…and they locked eyes. Lulu found a picture of Luke, and Elizabeth later told Laura that Aiden had gotten his driver’s license and was very into cars, which made Laura realize he got that interest from Luke. Sonny found a poker chip and gave it to Donna to play with, but she accidentally left it at Carly’s. When Sonny saw it again, he told Carly it reminded him of Luke. Tracy told Lulu that since she never had the chance to properly grieve Luke’s death, they would honor him together. They went to the church and tried to reminisce, but it did not feel right because it was not Luke’s kind of place. After making sure Lulu didn’t see, Tracy blew out the candle they had lit and looked up at the sky, saying she understood. Sonny remembered the first time he met Luke, when Luke refused to conduct mob business in his home, while Carly recalled Luke offering to take over ELQ for her. Tracy remembered getting so drunk with Luke that they ended up married, and she smashed food in his face. Tracy and Lulu later went to the Brown Dog bar and bribed the bartender to let them stay and pay tribute, not realizing his name tag read Luke. Laura went to the church and remembered Lulu’s birth, Luke suggesting her name, which had once been her alias, and their past adventures, including jumping from a helicopter and riding off in a just-married car as their diner burned behind them. Laura reflected that even after they built a home and raised children, they continued to have adventures. Luke moved through life like a force, and she said he changed the world around him and reshaped her heart in the process. She felt him in their children’s refusal to settle and in her own strength when facing something that scared her. Saying he was gone didn’t sit right with her because it felt like telling a lie. Though she knew he was no longer here physically, she said his presence never left her side. When sorrow became unbearable, she heard him in her mind, steady and familiar, calling her an angel and pushing her forward. Their bond, she said, extends beyond this lifetime. She concluded by thanking him for the love and the journey they shared. Tracy and Lulu agreed Luke was an eternal renegade who refused to be controlled, and after Tracy admitted she had once been angry at him for having a heart attack simply because he insisted on being himself, they toasted him with liquor. Laura later met Carly at Bobbie’s, and they were surprised that they had both been thinking about Luke. Sonny arrived at the Brown Dog after spotting Lulu’s car and learning they were celebrating Luke’s life, and they invited him to join them. Laura thanked Carly for keeping the diner open in honor of Luke and Bobbie, and Carly remembered that Luke had told her they were cut from the same cloth. Laura asked Sonny why he put the poker chip in her purse, and he said he had not. He later shared that in some cultures, a person dies twice, once at their last breath and once when their name is spoken for the last time. Tracy joked that if ‘jackass’ counted as a name, Luke would live forever. They released lanterns into the harbor and drank straight whiskey in his honor. Lulu said it felt right and thanked Tracy, then imagined Luke walking into the night and said she would see him later. Sonny returned to the docks and remembered Luke giving him his gun and saying he was leaving that life behind. Elizabeth remembered inviting Luke to be her date to the hospital Christmas party, and Laura later saw a birthday card with a classic muscle car that reminded her of driving a pink Cadillac with Luke and pretending to go into labor to avoid a ticket. Carly recalled Luke taking advantage of her hospitality and calling her family, while Tracy looked at a picture of Lila and remembered Luke proposing, saying she would do it all over again. Lulu framed the photo she had found and placed it on her mantle, recalling Luke telling her she was strong enough to handle anything because she was his baby girl. In the final moment, she found the poker chip in her pocket and thanked him for his love.
