Here is the General Hospital weekly recap for episodes that aired from July 13 through July 17, 2026. Jason returned to Port Charles after being released by the WSB, Portia gave birth with Jordan’s help, and Drew began moving and speaking while Willow continued to control him.
Meanwhile, Valentin tried to reclaim Wyndemere and build a future with Carly; Anna confronted Britt over Cassius; Joss admitted the truth about the WSB to Trina; and Jack’s missing black box turned up in a place nobody expected.
What happened on General Hospital

This week on GH, Jason arrived in Port Charles bruised, exhausted, and struggling with memories of his imprisonment. Dr. Tristan Roberts (a nod to the late Tristan Rogers, who played Robert Scorpio) traveled with him, then reported to GH as its newest heart surgeon. Tristan also checked into Bobbie’s and was given Britt’s old room, creating another problem after Carly changed the locks and got rid of Britt’s belongings.
Sonny became the newest member of the hospital board after Elizabeth defended his support of the hospital and the community. Tracy refused to vote for him, but agreed not to block the nomination. Brook Lynn and Chase also decided to keep her attempt to frame Willow secret, even though Chase made it clear that what Brook Lynn had done was criminal.
Danny, Rocco, and Charlotte remained divided over Jason taking responsibility for Cullum’s shooting. Danny blamed Rocco for allowing Jason to go to prison, while Rocco argued that he had saved Jason’s life. Charlotte tried to keep the boys from destroying their friendship, but Danny was not ready to forgive anyone.
Jason and Danny reunite

Danny found Jason at the Quartermaine boathouse and ran into his arms. Jason said the WSB had released him two days earlier, but he did not know why. When Danny admitted he had told Jack that Rocco shot Cullum, Jason explained that the truth may not have mattered because the WSB would never have believed Rocco over one of its own agents.
Jason admitted the prison had been terrible and said he would never want Danny or Rocco to experience it. Danny asked why Jason always had to make the sacrifice, especially when he had no idea whether he would ever come home. Jason apologized and promised that being Danny’s father would now be his top priority.
Jason then asked Tracy to help him take Danny away for several days so they could work through what happened. Tracy supported the idea and agreed to tell Alexis and anyone else who asked. Jason’s return brought Danny relief, but his injuries and nightmares made it clear that he had not left the prison behind completely.
Willow loses control as Drew recovers

Willow became more desperate as Drew continued recovering inside her home. She sent Scout to stay with Alexis because she no longer trusted Drew, then told him she would not allow him to destroy her life or take the children away. Kai discovered that Drew could move, but Drew signaled that he did not want Willow to know.
Drew later waved to Wiley and Amelia and motioned to them to keep his recovery secret. By Wednesday, he could move more of his body and managed to say Willow’s name. Willow suspected he was improving after realizing he had communicated with Kai, and warned Drew that the harder he became to control, the more creative she would have to become.
Nina and Jack continued searching Wyndemere for the black box containing evidence that could protect Willow and expose what happened to Drew. Jack nearly collapsed during the search, but Nina refused to leave without checking the house. They found nothing, although someone wearing gloves entered the catacombs and removed the box before they could return.
Portia gives birth while Trina’s life changes

Portia went into labor after an argument with Jordan about Curtis and Isaiah. Jordan had started to leave but heard Portia cry out, then returned and called for an ambulance. Traffic delayed the paramedics, leaving Jordan to deliver the baby on Portia’s living room floor with Portia guiding her through it.
Portia gave birth to a boy, and Jordan brought them safely through the delivery. Curtis later held his son at the hospital, while Trina met her new brother and learned that her parents had not selected a name. Isaiah tried to visit Portia, but Curtis asked him to give the family privacy.
Trina and Gio performed their showcase for a record executive and were offered a contract as a duo. Emma questioned whether music was really Gio’s dream or whether he was doing it for Trina, but Gio said he wanted to take the opportunity rather than wonder about it later. On Friday, Trina learned that Joss had been shot and confronted her for disappearing and keeping another part of her life secret.
Valentin causes trouble for Carly, Lulu, and the WSB

Valentin visited Anna after learning she had returned from France. Anna showed him Liesl’s drawing of the room where she had been held, while Peter continued appearing to her and pushing her toward revenge. Valentin and Anna shared a warm reunion, but he returned to Carly and assured her that his history with Anna would not interfere with their relationship.
Valentin also took Charlotte to Wyndemere and announced that he wanted to buy the property back. Charlotte told Dante she planned to live with her father because Valentin trusted her, while Lulu had controlled her and kept secrets. Lulu later told Ethan that she had unknowingly become Charlotte’s enemy while Valentin was hiding in Port Charles.
Sonny remained worried about Carly’s relationship with Valentin because Valentin once tampered with his bipolar medication and still had many enemies. He asked Brick to find information that might convince Carly to end the relationship. Brick agreed to investigate, but said he would not manipulate Carly behind her back and would leave the decision in her hands.
Anna turns on Britt as James learns the truth

Anna questioned Joss about Cassius and learned that Joss was not certain how involved he had been in Anna’s kidnapping. Joss admitted that blaming Cassius had been her idea and allowed the WSB to protect Cullum’s reputation. Anna warned that the bureau would eventually expect Joss to repay the favor.
Anna then confronted Britt and accused her of helping Cassius conceal the truth. Britt explained that Cullum had falsified her Huntington’s diagnosis and forced her to work for him, but Anna said Britt had still acted selfishly. Britt rejected the comparison to Faison and Cassius, and the two agreed to stay away from each other.
Joss repeated the WSB’s false story to Liesl, claiming Cassius had been the mastermind and had shot her. Liesl was devastated, then faced an even harder moment when Cody told James that the man he believed was Nathan had really been Cassius. James accused Cody of lying and told him he never wanted to see him again.
Brook Lynn searches for Phoebe’s father

Brook Lynn remained worried that Phoebe’s biological father could change his mind before the adoption was final. Ava visited with a gift and encouraged her to trust that the man who signed the papers wanted the baby to have a good home. Brook Lynn still wanted to speak with him directly and asked Ava whether she knew who he was.
Ava remembered Ethan admitting, while he was delirious, that he was not Phoebe’s father, but told Brook Lynn she did not know the truth. Ethan asked Lulu about Ava and admitted their arrangement had become mutually beneficial. Lulu warned him that Ava was dangerous and suspected he was interested in her, while Ethan insisted he knew what he was doing.
Two relationships changed

On Friday, Trina learned Joss had joined the WSB after Dex’s death. She was hurt by the lies but agreed to rebuild their friendship under one condition: Joss could say “popcorn” whenever she could not share classified information instead of inventing another story. Cody admitted how much James’s rejection hurt him, and Molly helped him understand that telling the truth had been an act of love. Molly told Cody she loved him; he said it back, and they kissed.
Carly returned home to find Valentin cooking, and their conversation turned to Anna and their relationship. Valentin said Anna had been his first true love, but Carly had changed everything when he found her after escaping prison. When they kissed, Carly backed into a black box in her kitchen and asked what it was. Valentin admitted he had taken Cullum’s box from Wyndemere to pressure the WSB into releasing his money, unaware that Jack and Nina were searching for it.
At the Brown Dog, Nina told Jack she would do anything to protect Willow, and Jack admitted he should have asked her to dinner instead of blackmailing her. The week ended with Nina and Jack kissing.
