On the Thursday, July 16, 2026, episode of General Hospital, The Ashford clan came together, Josslyn's guilt ate away at her, James learned the truth, and Anna had some words for Britt.
Anna and Britt Have It Out

Anna dragged Britt into the GH stairwell and asked a very pointed question: "Did you know that your brother was holding me captive at Wyndemere?" Britt claimed she had no idea what Cassius was up to. She didn't even know he was going to show up in Port Charles.
Anna accused Britt of knowing that Nathan was really Cassius. Britt admitted that was true, but then explained how she was forced into working for Sidwell and Cullum. Anna was stunned that they made Britt believe she was dying so she'd finish her father's final project.
Anna noted that it was straight out of Faison's playbook. Britt begged Anna not to start telling her that Faison was dead. "He's gone. Never to be resurrected," she said. Anna was sure that Faison had taught Cassius how to get inside Anna's head.
Britt asked Anna to just be grateful that she was home and had people who loved her. "The alternative sucks. Local pariah, reporting for duty," she said. Britt claimed they both had a lot in common, as the same men had manipulated them. Britt's calm request to just move on was met with Anna calmly telling her that she was just like Faison.
Britt argued that she was nothing like her father, so Anna reminded Britt of her behavior years ago when she first arrived in Port Charles. Britt claimed she wasn't trying to hurt people by building the prototype, but Anna accused her of hurting people over and over again, even if unintentionally.
Josslyn Lies Some More

Liesl popped into Josslyn's room to take her to task for sullying Cassius' reputation. Liesl was furious, but felt it was convenient that Cassius be the scapegoat. After all, look at who his parents were. She began shouting at Josslyn. She understood why the WSB would lie, but why Josslyn?
Joss tried to play her part and kept insisting that she didn't make up a story. It was the truth. Liesl knew what she experienced, so she knew Joss was lying. Liesl said she would just go to the press, so Joss told her that would be a bad move. She asked that Liesl trust her, but Liesl refused.
Josslyn remained insistent that Cassius was just playing them. He wasn't one of the good guys. In fact, she lied and said that Cassius was the one who shot her. Liesl still didn't believe her, so Josslyn laid it on even thicker. Liesl finally seemed to believe her and left. Once alone, a guilty Josslyn remembered her time with Cassius.
James Learns The Truth

Cody welcomed Molly to the Q stables where he asked her for advice. Maxie, Mac, Spinelli, and Felicia all agreed James needed to hear the truth. And they wanted Cody to break the news. Molly was floored that James' mother wasn't going to tell him. Cody reasoned that James would hate whoever broke the news, so he figured James may as well hate him.
Cody didn't know how he was going to do it, but Molly reasoned that Cody was giving James a gift...the truth. Just then, Felicia arrived with James, who was temporarily played by another young actor. Cody took him into another room, where James insisted his dad was a good guy who saved people's lives.
Cody reminded James that Cassius had told him he'd hear bad things about him. James remembered, so Cody told him, "the bad thing he did was pretend to be your father."
James didn't want to believe Cody, even after he went into more detail. As Cody tried to hug and comfort James, the boy pulled away. He started screaming that Cody was lying and ran out of the room and into the arms of a newly arrived Liesl. She had to tell him what Cody said was true. James wasn't angry at Oma, but he remained furious with Cody.
Big Music News

As the Metro Court pool emptied out, Kai and Emma were anxious for news from Trina and Gio. Just then, they walked in and told their significant others that the record label wanted to sign them both. They sat down and excitedly went on and on about their experience. While Kai was thrilled, Emma seemed bothered by the idea of Trina and Gio being a musical duo.
Their champagne moment was interrupted when Stella called to tell Trina she had a little brother. Trina ran off to be with her family, leaving Gio and Emma alone. Gio could tell something was bothering Emma, so she asked him if this was really his dream.
Gio admitted that he would not have signed the contract if Trina hadn't wanted to, but he felt good about helping Trina. Gio got the feeling Emma didn't want him to sign. Emma insisted she just wanted Gio to be happy. He admitted he wasn't sure if he wanted to be a musician by profession, but this contract would be the perfect test.
Big Baby News

In the hospital waiting room, Jordan filled Curtis and Stella in on Portia's dramatic delivery on her living room floor. A grateful Curtis rushed to Portia room to meet her son while Stella questioned Jordan about why she was at Portia's house. Jordan explained what happened. Jordan was amazed that Portia delivered the baby. Jordan praised Portia for her part in all this. "It was a moment I'll never forget."
Stella soon spotted Isaiah and gave him the big news about Portia's baby. He was further shocked to hear that Jordan delivered the baby. As Isaiah tried to rush to Portia's room, Stella stopped him and asked that he give Portia and Curtis some time alone with their baby first.
In her room, a beaming Portia held her baby and asked Curtis if he wanted to hold his son. Curtis just stared in disbelief as Portia handed the baby over. Portia told Curtis all about the birth. When Curtis asked about a name, Isaiah popped in at the wrong moment.
Curtis put the baby in the isolette while Isaiah took Portia's hand and congratulated her. Curtis asked Isaiah to leave so they could resume their private moment. Isaiah obliged, but also congratulated Curtis before he left. Trina was the next visitor, as she couldn't wait to meet her baby brother.
Was Anna right for what she said to Britt? Do you think Curtis is really the father? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
