This week on General Hospital, Jack needed Valentin, Sonny needed Pascal, Michael kept meddling where he didn't belong, and Ethan finally told the truth about Phoebe. While Joss searched for an escape route and Lucas helped set a plan in motion against Sidwell, Brook Lynn found it harder and harder to ignore what was happening around Chase and Willow.

What happened on General Hospital?

Still bedridden, Jack spent much of the week putting pieces into motion from Turning Woods. After revealing to Nina that he was far more aware and mobile than anyone realized, he instructed her to deliver a message to Valentin. Nina reluctantly complied, leading to a tense meeting between herself, Carly, and Valentin.

The message centered around a mysterious figure known only as Z. Jack insisted Valentin had to make contact because Z represented their best chance of stopping Cullum and Sidwell. He also revealed he could not reach out because doing so might alert Cullum that he was no longer truly locked inside his own body.

Later, Carly and Valentin secretly met with Jack, where he explained his belief that Joss’ disappearance was connected to something much larger than anyone suspected. Jack urged Valentin to contact Z and tell him everything. Valentin worried the mysterious figure would simply throw him back into Steinmauer, but Jack insisted there was no other option. Carly made it clear where she stood on Jack's role in Joss' disappearance, but arguing wasn't going to bring her daughter home. Besides, she believed Jack was telling the truth.

Joss fights for freedom while Sidwell tightens his grip

While her loved ones searched for answers, Joss continued looking for a way out of her prison beneath Wyndemere. She tried to manipulate Pascal and exploit cracks within Sidwell’s operation. Her efforts eventually paid off when she caused an electrical failure throughout Wyndemere, creating enough chaos to escape her cell.

Unfortunately, just as Joss reached the front door, Sidwell was waiting for her with a gun. Cassius intervened before Sidwell could pull the trigger and convinced him to keep Joss alive. He argued that she still had value and that killing her would jeopardize their larger plans. Sidwell reluctantly backed down, though he made it clear his patience was wearing thin.

Back in captivity, Joss continued working on Cassius. She urged him to abandon Sidwell and help expose everything to the WSB. Although he refused, there were signs her words were starting to affect him. Cassius openly admitted that both of them were expendable once Sidwell achieved his goals.

Sonny, Laura, and Lucas move against Sidwell

Sonny and Laura spent the week trying to turn Sidwell’s operation against itself. Their plan relied heavily on Pascal. After Lucas provided information linking Pascal to Marco, the PCPD questioned the butler, causing him to panic and flee. Just as Sonny predicted, Sidwell immediately began viewing Pascal as a possible suspect in Marco’s murder.

Sonny and Laura offered Pascal protection in exchange for help. Pascal eventually revealed the combination to Sidwell’s safe and confirmed that it contained the photographs and negatives being used to blackmail Laura. Lucas agreed to retrieve the evidence himself. Although Sonny expressed concerns about the risk, Lucas insisted he needed to see the mission through.

By Friday, Lucas successfully delivered the photographs and negatives to Sonny and Laura. Relieved, Laura celebrated what appeared to be the end of Sidwell’s leverage over her. The evidence was burned, and for the first time in months, she felt free. However, Lucas remained uneasy. He pointed out that Sidwell was still dangerous.

Ethan makes a life-changing decision about Phoebe

Alexis finally got Ethan to admit that Phoebe is his daughter. He filled her in on what happened with Delilah. They were casual friends who had hooked up once, and halfway through her pregnancy, she made him aware that he was going to be a father. Ethan made it clear he wasn't planning to raise the child himself. Instead, he wanted Brook Lynn and Chase to adopt Phoebe and move on with their lives.

Alexis passed the news along to Brook Lynn and Chase, including Ethan's request for a closed adoption. While they hadn't expected that, they agreed to his terms.

Ava figured out Ethan's connection to Delilah soon enough. She questioned him about it and wondered if he was scamming the Quartermaines for a pretty penny. He denied it, citing his own childhood in an orphanage. Ethan ultimately stood by his decision, and somehow his secret survived another week.

Michael’s scheme creates new problems

Michael continued orchestrating encounters between Willow and Chase. His latest effort involved having Jacinda create a situation that would bring the two together at the Quartermaine boathouse. The plan worked almost perfectly. Chase and Willow spent time talking, swimming, and reconnecting, while Michael watched events unfold from a distance.

The situation became even more complicated when Willow offered Chase a job as her chief of staff. She argued that his skills, connections, and commitment to public service made him the perfect candidate. Chase admitted the offer had merit, especially considering the impact it could have on his future and his ability to spend more time with Phoebe.

Nina immediately warned Willow that spending so much time with Chase could create a scandal and damage her career. She also worried Willow might be setting herself up for heartbreak.

At the same time, Michael continued gathering information and photographs through a private investigator, making it increasingly clear that he was determined to create a narrative involving Willow and Chase, whether one existed or not.

Brook Lynn’s suspicions grow

Lucy unintentionally reminded Brook Lynn that Chase had once risked his career helping Willow. Things became worse when Tracy spotted Willow and Chase together at the boathouse. Convinced she had witnessed the beginning of an affair, Tracy immediately confronted Chase. He called Tracy's bluff, telephoned Brook Lynn, and invited her to the boathouse so Tracy could share her concerns.

Chase strongly denied any wrongdoing and insisted Willow was simply a friend. Although Brook Lynn initially defended him, Tracy’s accusations planted seeds she could not completely dismiss. The situation became even more complicated after Chase revealed Willow’s job offer. While Brook Lynn acknowledged the proposal made practical sense, she clearly remained uncomfortable with how often Willow seemed to appear in their lives.

Later, Brook Lynn replayed multiple interactions involving Willow and Chase and began connecting moments that previously seemed harmless. Brook Lynn turned to Lucy for help. Convinced Willow was pursuing her husband, she admitted she needed an ally. Lucy immediately embraced the mission and promised to help her outmaneuver her perceived rival.

Liesl becomes a target, and Lucas is caught

At the hospital, Liesl confronted Willow and Nina about Drew’s condition and voiced suspicions about what they might be hiding. Although they denied wrongdoing, Liesl became increasingly concerned about Britt and vowed to continue searching for her daughter.

Later, after leaving the hospital, Liesl called someone and explained that she had searched Britt’s office but found nothing useful. Moments later, in her car, a figure appeared behind her and pressed a cloth over her face. The attacker was Cullum.

Elsewhere, Lucas returned to Wyndemere to access Sidwell’s safe once again. While searching through its contents, he was caught completely off guard when Sidwell walked into the room and calmly asked if there was something he could help him with.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn formally recruited Lucy to help stop Willow. Sonny and Laura celebrated the destruction of the blackmail evidence, and Joss continued trying to convince Cassius to abandon Sidwell. Ava called into question Ethan's seemingly selfless motives in giving up his baby girl so that Chase and Brook Lynn could adopt her. Ava suspected that Ethan was planning on pulling a con, given that his parents were Holly Sutton and Luke Spencer.
