Britt and Rocco in Paradise

At a resort in Tortola, Britt and Rocco returned from a trip to a farmer's market with some produce. Britt noted that she had to worry about Rocco's nutrition and take care of him. Rocco admitted that he missed his family, but didn't have any regrets about running off with Britt.

Britt still wanted Rocco to have some contact with home, so she gave him a tablet with a VPN and a burner phone, so they couldn't be traced. She told him that he could look at his friends on social media, but not to like or comment. Rocco was anxious to see if he could find anything out about his parents. Britt just wanted it to be safe for Rocco to go home.

Rocco didn't seem too anxious to leave his pal, noting they had no idea how much time she had left. Britt suggested making the most of their time in paradise just before Rocco saw a story about Sidwell shooting Lucas. Her arm immediately started to shake.

Britt's hand also shook when she scrolled the tablet and learned that Lucas was fine, but Sidwell had escaped. Britt suggested Rocco get changed for the beach so he wouldn't see her shaking. After Rocco had changed, he found Britt passed out on the floor. When she came to, Rocco brought her to the couch.

Outside the Q boathouse, Charlotte burned things that belonged to Valentin, including the key with the blue ribbon that Carly had left under the porch and her fake passport. Danny came along and asked Charlotte what she was doing, so she explained that her dad had left her.

Danny was surprised to hear that Valentin had gone to the WSB office in Geneva to try to shut down Sidwell's project. Danny thought this sounded fabulous. Valentin would be a hero and Jason could also walk free. This could be a win-win. Charlotte had to break the news that Valentin wasn't very confident that would happen.

Charlotte declared that they had to take the option and could stop Cullum together. Danny was dumbfounded, but then the phone rang. It was Rocco and he needed their help.

What Do You Know About Saline?

At the hospital, Elizabeth took Lucas to task for setting himself up to get shot by Sidwell. Lucas claimed he was fine and happy to have an excuse to skip the gym. As he lamented about the follies of being an action hero, Dante appeared and jokingly offered him a job with the PCPD.

Dante was there to meet Joe, who had brought a suspect in. Joe explained this was one of Sidwell's associates who didn't want to talk. They discussed Sidwell's getaway, with Joe suggesting it was possible that Sidwell had someone working within the PCPD to help him.

Liz later approached Dante and asked for an update on Rocco. Dante said he was somewhere in the Caribbean, but he was frustrated that he couldn't fly down there and bring him home. He was afraid that Cullum would follow him. Dante also worried that Rocco took off due to all the arguments between him and Lulu.

However, he also worried that he and Lulu couldn't trust each other anymore. They both confided in different people, just as Dante was confiding in Liz. Elizabeth hadn't even thought that was what Dante was doing.

Elsewhere in the hospital halls, Lucas and Joe discussed the suspect who had run the second Joe started questioning him about Sidwell. But Joe also had another question for Lucas...about saline. He had found an empty syringe in a suspect's room and the lab said it had only contained saline.

All About Sidwell

Sonny sat down with Laura at the Metro Court Gardens before a morning breakfast meeting with Ric. They discussed the Sidwell situation. While Laura wanted him caught, she was also just happy he was gone and trying not to think about him too much.

Laura was alarmed when Sonny told her that he was confident that Sidwell would be handled. Ric appeared before Laura could ask what Sonny meant by that. Sonny got up to sit with Ric just as Jordan arrived and sat down with Laura. She was sorry she was late, as there was traffic and all. (Did Jordan take her eyes off the road?)

Jordan wanted to hear all about the Sidwell sting operation, but Laura had a confession to make first. She had been blackmailed by Sidwell much of the time that Jordan was working for him. Laura didn't get a chance to say much because Ezra sat down and made himself comfortable. He wanted to celebrate getting out from under Sidwell's thumb.

The ladies did not have a chance to say much before Ezra oddly received a text from Jacinda, asking him to meet her in a room. Laura and Jordan continued their conversation, as Jordan admitted she liked working for Sidwell. She enjoyed the money and the work. She just didn't enjoy Sidwell.

Across the dining area, Sonny informed Ric that Brick had managed to track Rocco and Britt to San Juan, but he lost them after they hopped a ferry. But Ric didn't want to talk about that. Instead, he was hurt because Lucas, Laura, and Sonny had conspired to trap Sidwell and left him out.

Sonny explained that it all happened so fast, he didn't have time to bring Ric in on it. When Sonny mentioned that Lucas had worn the bulletproof vest, Ric realized that Lucas didn't want him involved. Sonny assured Ric that even if Lucas didn't trust him, he did.

Ric was worried about Sidwell running around loose out there, but Sonny didn't see that as a problem at all. Sonny told Ric that he knew who killed Marco and would use that info to get Sidwell to come out of hiding.

A Trap for Ezra

Upstairs in a room, Ezra got ready for a nice time with Jacinda. He showered, donned a robe, poured champagne, and was then stunned to see Sidwell smiling at the door. Sidwell explained that he had mirrored Jacinda's phone months ago, so it was easy to fool Ezra with a text.

Sidwell informed Ezra that he had sacrificed everything for this project over the course of a decade, including his son. He also had scores to settle, so he needed Ezra's help.

Cassius' Conscience

In her apartment, Nina gave Jacinda work instructions when "Nathan" arrived home. She even asked Jacinda to dig into the conference in New Zealand that Liesl had attended. That alarmed Cassius, who questioned Nina. After Jacinda left, Nina told Cassius that she was just trying to be on the safe side when it came to his mother.

Nina then asked if Lulu had confided in him about the Britt and Rocco situation. "Nathan" informed Nina that he and Lulu weren't together anymore because they couldn't see eye to eye on certain important things. Nina assured "Nathan" that he was a wonderful man, but Cassius told his cousin that he was more than capable of making mistakes.

Cassius continued to have a crisis of conscience and used Nina as a sounding board. He regretted not helping Britt more, but also worried that Rocco was hurt and confused when he left with her. "What if I'm setting James up to feel the exact same way?" he asked.

Nina was confused, but "Nathan" noted that James already had Spinelli and Cody as father figures and might now be confused. He felt he made James' life worse and not better. Nina was stunned that her brother would feel this way and tried to assure him that he was wrong. Cassius felt more guilty than ever when Nina told him how happy she was that "Nathan" was alive.

Are you surprised that Britt's syringe contained saline? Do you want Cassius to be redeemed? Tell us what you think in the comments.
