Sonny had one of his goons drag Pascal into the Corinthos Coffee warehouse and place him in a chair. The goon left as Laura and Lucas looked on. Sonny informed Pascal that the cops were already searching his room, but they'd give him a chance to save his own life.

Pascal accused Lucas of setting him up and Lucas didn't deny it. Pascal wanted to know why, when they both knew that Cullum killed Marco. Lucas, Sonny, and Laura all explained that they were going to use him to bring Sidwell down, which would avenge Marco's death.

They wanted Pascal to retrieve the blackmail photos of Laura and Sonny with Dalton's body. Pascal thought he would be killed, so Lucas reminded him that Sidwell already wanted to kill him. Sonny would give him some cash and a trip to a tropical paradise to start a new life.

Pascal was inclined to take the offer, but the photos were in a locked safe at Wyndemere and he wasn't sure how he would get them. Pascal would give Lucas the combination to the safe, but that meant Sonny would give him less cash. Pascal finally gave in and said yes and wrote down the combination.

Before Sonny's goon could take Pascal to the airfield, Lucas insisted that Pascal remove Marco's tie from his neck. A frustrated Pascal did just that and was escorted out. Sonny offered to send a goon to Wyndemere to get into the safe, but Lucas wanted to do it himself. He felt he owed it to Marco.

Josslyn's latest move

At Wyndemere, Josslyn attempted to talk her way out of her sticky situation with a gun-toting Sidwell. She tried to claim she was a useful hostage, but Sidwell didn't think so anymore. He only allowed her to live in his basement due to her Corinthos-Jacks connection.

"So, what are you going to do? Shoot me in the middle of your living room?" Josslyn asks. Sidwell insinuated that he had done that before (he had), but Cassius arrived before Sidwell could shoot. Cassius stepped in front of Josslyn and promised to lock Josslyn back up if Sidwell let her live.

Sidwell didn't care and asked Cassius to step aside. Cassius refused and threatened to end their partnership. He felt confident that Sidwell wanted to keep his PCPD asset. As Cassius and Siwdell argued back and forth about keeping Josslyn alive, Josslyn removed a ring from her finger and dropped it on the floor.

After Sidwell agreed to let Cassius take Josslyn back downstairs, Joss quietly shoved her ring under a couch with her foot. When back in the basement, Cassius reminded Josslyn they had to play it safe because he could become expendable, too.

When Sidwell was finally alone in the living room with a drink, Lucas walked in and said he'd heard about Pascal. Sidwell blamed himself for bringing "that psycho into our lives." Lucas looked right at Sidwell and said he was relieved the man who killed Marco would finally be brought to justice.

That darn Willow

Michael found a distracted Brook Lynn in the solarium and made some small talk about her meeting with Sidwell. Brook Lynn had no desire to discuss Sidwell. Instead, she accused Michael of pushing Willow straight into Chase's arms. Brook Lynn didn't think he was doing it on purpose (he was), but when he argued with Willow, she ended up with Chase.

Michael assured Brook Lynn that he and Willow were getting along, so she'd have to turn to Chase less. Brook Lynn was still distressed, telling Michael that she spotted Chase and Willow hugging when she dropped off the gift she had bought Willow. But she put Willow on notice, and for Willow's sake, she hoped she got through to the congresswoman.

A state of denial

At the boat house, Chase denied cheating on Brook Lynn, but Tracy didn't buy it. They were half naked and Willow was "all over Chase like a cheap suit" and Chase didn't discourage her. Chase scoffed at Tracy's accusations. It was just an innocent swim.

Chase got in Tracy's face and told her that she was wasting her time. He never cheated on Brook Lynn and never will. Tracy agreed that this was a waste of time, so she told Chase to pack his bags and move. She was sure that Brook Lynn would kick him out once she knew.

So, Chase called Brook Lynn and asked her to come down to the boathouse. Brook Lynn did just that so Tracy could reluctantly tell Brook Lynn that she saw her husband with a "scantily clad Willow." Chase pointed out that Tracy meant swimsuits.

Tracy grew serious and stressed to Brook Lynn that if Chase hadn't cheated on her yet, it was only a matter of time. Brook Lynn asked to speak to Chase in private. Chase told Brook Lynn they just ran into one another, took a swim, and talked. That was it. Brook Lynn reminded Chase that this was the second time in one day that she'd found him alone with Willow.

Chase was surprised when Brook Lynn accused Willow of having feelings for her. He was sure she was imagining things, but didn't do himself any favors when he began defending Willow. He made things even worse for himself when he mentioned Willow's job offer.

Brook Lynn tried to compose herself and admitted she may have harsh when judging Willow. Chase promised he would make no decision about the job without her.

When Tracy returned to the solarium, she blamed Michael for bringing that "viper" Willow into the house and cursing their family. Michael nearly laughed when Tracy told him that she found Willow trying to seduce Chase.

She was hoping she could get Brook Lynn to see what was going on before it was too late. Michael suggested allowing Brook Lynn and Chase's marriage to implode on its own.

Nina's warning

Willow arrived home to find Nina tending to Drew after her fun time at Carly's house. Willow couldn't wait to tell Nina all about her swim with Chase. Before dropping the bomb about the chief of staff position, Willow made sure Drew was back in bed.

When Nina heard Willow's news, she was stunned. Chase had no qualifications for this job. He was certainly not made for politics and had no government experience. Willow reminded Nina that she didn't either, but look how great she was doing now. Besides, Willow felt guilty about Chase's demotion. Now, she could make it up to him.

Nina pointed out the horrible optics of hiring her ex-husband as her chief of staff when her current husband was in a wheelchair. Suddenly, Willow realized that her mother might be right. Nina also stressed that hiring Chase could hurt Willow on a personal level.

Phoebe's dad

Ethan arrived at Alexis' office on her behest. He assumed it was about Kristina, but Alexis really wanted to confront him with the photo of him and Delilah. She noted that Ethan was holding Phoebe when she saw him at the Quartermaines' and asked if he was the baby's father.

Ethan explained that Delilah was a friend he had slept with only once, but it was enough. Delilah didn't tell him she was pregnant until six months later, so they decided to meet up in Port Charles to discuss next steps. And Alexis knew the rest of the story.

Alexis asked Ethan why he didn't claim the baby as his. He said he wasn't ready to be a father and thought Phoebe had the perfect home with Brook Lynn and Chase. He asked Alexis to lie and say that she couldn't find Phoebe's father, but she refused.

So, Ethan suggested he sign over his rights and Alexis seal the paperwork so he could remain anonymous. Finally, Alexis agreed to do it, but warned Ethan that one other person might know — Ava.
