Josslyn was doing calisthenics in her Wyndemere basement room when Cullum walked in, asking what the hell she was doing there. He noted he would have to talk to his partners about Josslyn's role in all of this, but until then, Liesl was her new roomie.

Josslyn kept her cool as a goon dragged an unconscious Liesl into the room and shoved her onto the couch. An alarmed Josslyn tried to wake her as Cullum ranted about how he'd always known there was something off about the ditzy sorority girl. "Don't get too comfortable," he said as he walked out.

When Liesl came to, she was groggy and confused to see Josslyn. She had multiple questions, but Josslyn gave her the gist of what was happening. Liesl noted all the questions Joss had been asking about Faison, so Josslyn confessed that she was a WSB agent.

Liesl wasn't particularly surprised. She thought Josslyn was the type. She was also impressed with the accommodations. Josslyn told her that Anna had been there before her. Liesl was also not surprised to hear that this was all about Faison's obsession with cold fusion.

Cassius learns about his mom

Upstairs, Cassius updated Sidwell on the fact that there were no leads on Britt. But Sidwell wasn't concerned because he and Cullum had found someone else who could finish the project. Cassius nearly lost it when he learned that Cullum had kidnapped his mother.

Before Sidwell could explain, Cullum came barreling in asking why Josslyn Jacks was locked in the basement. He was stunned to hear that the girl was a WSB agent. He was so offended not to have been filled in, but Sidwell didn't see the big deal. Suddenly, Sidwell's phone rang, leading to him learning that the helipad had been cancelled.

Sidwell left to find Laura, so Cullum announced he would take care of Josslyn once and for all. Cassius grabbed his arm and told him, "You're not going to do anything to Josslyn." Cassius reasoned that there were powerful people who would do anything for Josslyn's safe return.

Cullum was still furious that he was never informed that Josslyn was WSB and wanted to discuss things with Jenz. Cassius then asked why Cullum kidnapped his mother before pointing out that the WSB director couldn't even find a teenager and a terminally ill woman. Cassius reminded Cullum he could be as dangerous as his father, but Cullum worried that Cassius had grown a conscience.

Downstairs, Josslyn dropped the bomb that Britt had been working on the research and had come dangerously close to finishing the project. Liesl finally knew what her daughter had been hiding. She felt guilty for how angry she had been when Britt first returned. Liesl couldn't imagine why Britt didn't go to Nathan for help.

As Josslyn prepared to tell Liesl the truth about her two sons, Cassius walked in, much to Liesl's delight. She thought Nathan had come to rescue them, but that was not the case at all.

A big surprise for Lucas, too

Kristina presented Lucas with a rendering of the Marco Rios Tennis Center before dropping the bomb that she's going to medical school. Lucas was shocked and thrilled for her. She was even leaving in a few days to shadow a doctor before starting classes in the fall, but Kristina hadn't even told her parents yet.

Kristina explained that she was nervous. After all, Sonny would have to find a new manager for Charlie's. Lucas remained encouraging, telling her that her parents only wanted her to be happy. Kristina was also worried about the Corinthos-Davis House and wanted Lucas' help on the board while she was gone.

Laura and Sonny celebrate

Laura and Sonny celebrated their victory over Sidwell at the Metro Court Gardens, but Sonny worried that Laura would not want to be seen with him. Laura was tired of hiding from her constituents and wanted to enjoy the end of their nightmare time together.

Laura took glee in shutting down the helipad project ASAP, but Sonny worried about how Sidwell would react now that his winning streak had been broken. Sonny assured Laura he had someone watching Kevin and Ace in Ireland, but Lucas had refused protection. Laura worried that Lucas was taking too many chances.

As expected, Sidwell showed up right on cue to complain about the helipad project. Sidwell threatened to "expose" Laura, so she told him to be her guest and go for it. Sidwell accused Sonny of putting Laura up to this, but Sonny reminded him that Laura had a mind of her own. Sidwell was sure that "this little rebellion was just a hiccup."

Laura was gleeful after Sidwell stormed out, but Sonny worried about how he would retaliate, which gave Laura food for thought.

Back at Wyndemere, Sidwell made a beeline for his safe and discovered that the photos were missing. As Cullum questioned who would have taken them, Sidwell remembered seeing Lucas by the safe earlier. Just then, Lucas called and left a message for Jenz to meet him at the new tennis center site.

Keeping up with the Ashfords

Curtis met with Alexis at the Metro Court Gardens to discuss his case. He wanted Alexis to be his lawyer, but Alexis said she couldn't do it. Apparently, Isaiah had already approached Alexis to represent him in a civil suit. Alexis turned him down, but since she was approached, she couldn't defend Curtis.

Curtis refused to give up and told Alexis he wanted to use his suspicions against Isaiah in his defense, but Alexis thought there was a good chance that strategy would backfire. That didn't matter to Curtis. He was going to pursue his plan anyway.

At the hospital, Isaiah told Portia that the hospital board would have to choose his replacement now that he couldn't perform surgery. He would still be on staff for now and could return to the surgical staff if his hand healed. Isaiah felt his future as a surgeon was a "coin toss."

To that end, Isaiah didn't just want Curtis to be criminally charged, but he also wanted to sue him. Isaiah felt like something had been stolen from him. Portia just asked that he wait to start the suit until after the baby was born.

Outside Bobbie's, Kai was curious about the phone call Trina received. She told him she had been trying to book a rehearsal space and couldn't take the opening today because she had to arrange Portia's baby shower. Kai thought Trina should take the space and someone else could work on the shower.

Trina insisted that she had to do everything, but Kai thought Trina was doing too much and not focusing on herself. Finally, Trina sat down and started to talk about her showcase, proving she can think about herself after all. Still, she had to wait until after the baby shower to rehearse.
