Here is your General Hospital recap for Friday, March 13, 2026 featuring Maxie and Lulu reaching a pivotal point in their friendship, Sonny bonding with Gio, Portia discovering Jordan's secret, and an update on Delilah and her baby.
What happened on General Hospital

Maxie greeted Lulu at the door, and Lulu said that since she was there, she and Nathan could speak directly to her. Lulu asked if she could come in and join the two, and she wondered if she should sit down. Maxie commented that if Lulu planned to stay longer and it went south, it would be her fault.
Nathan tried to lighten the mood by telling the women not to fight over him. Nathan didn't want Maxie and Lulu to become deeply embattled over the idea of the and Lulu become involved. Nathan decided he should perhaps leave so the two best friends could sort things out.
After Nathan left, Maxie gave Lulu the floor to explain herself. Lulu was concerned that shed resent Maxie if she stood in the way of her burgeoning relationship with Nathan. Maxie scoffed and asked whether it was better for everyone if she were the one left feeling resentful instead.
Lulu thought that Maxie's reasoning was ridiculous because why would she ever make that her grand plan? Maxie and Nathan were married and shared a son, so it was a difficult situation for everyone to navigate. Lulu questioned whether it was even possible for everyone to walk through the situation without someone becoming resentful.
Lulu started packing their things, but Maxie wasn't finished. She couldn't wrap her mind around how this had happened in the first place. How could Lulu and Nathan allow themselves to enter this romantic entanglement? Maxie knew how much Nathan and Lulu loved her, so she questioned why Lulu wasn't honest with her the moment she awoke from her coma.
Maxie felt like the relationship between the friends had changed because of how Lulu handled things. Lulu didn't know how to dive into this topic right away when Maxie woke up. Lulu vowed that she would have walked away from Nathan if Maxie had opted to be with him.
Lulu confessed that she wanted Maxie to choose Spinelli. Selfishly, she wanted to know if there was something genuine bubbling between herself and Nathan. Lulu explained to her how terrified Spinelli was that Maxie would choose someone other than him. Beyond that, Lulu wanted Maxie to remain her best friend and not an obstacle to her happiness.
Lulu wanted her and Maxie to find a new normal for their friendship. Even if the two wanted things to go back to the way they were, there was no turning back. Maxie had such an emotional reaction to the situation because it felt like a loss. She took the situation as if she were losing both Lulu and Nathan.

Trina stopped by the hospital with a surprise for Portia. Her mother was elated to see her, now that their relationship was finally in a good place. Trina wanted to treat Portia to something special.
Brook Lynn asked Elizabeth if anyone had shown up searching for Delilah or her baby. Elizabeth hadn't heard anything, but she invited Brook Lynn to accompany her to the NICU to check on the newborn. The baby was improving and had not only been taken off the ventilator but was also starting to put on weight.
Brook Lynn was pleased with the baby's good progress, but she hated seeing the child all alone with no one to claim her. Elizabeth assured Brook Lynn that the staff was committed to visiting her and giving her the much-needed attention she deserved. Brook Lynn asked if it was possible to hold her.
Elizabeth said the baby had been held recently, so she wasn't going without human contact. Even if Brook Lynn couldn't hold her at that moment, Elizabeth said she could let her into the room, so she should stand over her. Brook Lynn formally introduced herself to Baby Jane Doe, which she realized she hadn't done.
Felicia later told Elizabeth that if the family was unable to be located, she'd have to be forced into foster care. Neither woman hoped it would come to that, and it was difficult for everyone to see the state of the newborn's life. Delilah didn't present Elizabeth as someone alone in the world, so she wondered if there was some mix-up.
Felicia asked Elizabeth whether she knew that Nathan and Lulu were involved. She only recently found out from Dante, but Felicia got the shock of her life when she witnessed them kissing firsthand. Felicia didn't think her opinion mattered because, if Maxie was fine with it, she could step back.

At the PCPD, Chase asked Dante if he could volunteer to find baby Jane Doe's family. Chase wasn't a detective anymore, but he wanted to help in any way that he could. Dante didn't have an issue with Chase being involved in the search, but there were no leads to follow.
There were no signs that anyone knew anything about Delilah. However, Dante got a call from the Union Station security, and they received a hit. A woman matching Delilah's description was seen leaving from Manhattan with first-class tags. Chase offered to check it out, but since he'd been demoted, Dante couldn't allow it.
Chase understood Dante's reasoning, but Dante's hands were tied. Nathan showed up with Delilah's luggage, and Dante promised to keep Chase in the loop. Nathan asked Dante if they were good after the revelation that he was seeing Lulu.
Dante felt like he had no one to blame for his relationship with Lulu ending but himself. Blaming Nathan would be wholly unfair. Nothing in Delilah's luggage gave the PCPD any indication of who she was or where she'd been. Dante later told Elizabeth that the mother's name was Delilah Wilson.
Lulu arrived at the PCPD and told Nathan that Maxie had essentially given the green light for their relationship. Nathan was relieved to hear that, since he thought she was there to dump him. However, instead, Lulu invited Nathan over for a date at her home.

Curtis was working from home, and he was surprised by his Aunt Stella at the door. Stella had found the perfect housewarming gift for Jordan, which was a fancy air fryer. Curtis confessed that he and Jordan had moved in together, which completely threw Stella off.
Curtis explained that he signed his former home over to Portia. He was happy to do it, which left Stella proud of him. She asked how Curtis ended up cohabitating with Jordan, and he told her that she offered. The place was stunning, so Stella didn't blame Curtis for jumping at the opportunity.
Curtis was happy with Jordan, but Stella asked, "Did you let the ink dry on your divorce papers before you moved in here?" Stella didn't think it was the best time to move on with another woman. Even if Stella loved Jordan and she supported their relationship, the timing wasn't ideal.
Stella told Curtis that he didn't give himself ample time to grieve what he lost with Portia before diving back into something with Jordan. Curtis said he grieved his relationship while it was still going on. Their marriage was dead long before they made the choice to end things.
Stella asked Curtis to take a step back and avoid living with Jordan until more time had passed. As Curtis took a phone call, Stella came across a pregnancy test, which hinted at something going on with Jordan that would complicate things even further.

Justine and Jordan met at a nail salon, and Jordan assumed Justine was distracted by Sonny. There were many people that Justine could confide in about her connection to Sonny. Jordan gave it to her straight, and she claimed that it helped her avoid disaster. However, she flashed back to her time with Sonny, which crossed every conceivable line.
Jordan told Justine that Curtis was moving in, but there were a few problems from the past. This time, things felt better, and she was happy. Despite their reconciliation, Portia was still a factor. Regardless, Jordan said the optics of Curtios moving in too quickly weren't what they seemed.
Jordan and Curtis' connection felt similar to how it did in the past. The only complication facing the two was Portia, but she was still determined to make things work. Just as she said that, Portia and Trina walked into the nail salon.
Trina offered to go somewhere else, but Portia maintained that it was fine. She believed that, although she and Jordan would never be friends, they had to learn to coexist. After they arrived, Justine had to take off, leaving the women in Curtis's life alone together.
Trina was forced to head to school because her school paper wasn't submitted properly. Trina's leaving meant Portia and Jordan would be forced to exist in the same space, without anything to keep them apart. Portia noticed the fumes at the salon were bothering Jordan, and the wheels turned in her head.
Portia walked over to Jordan and noted how she saw she dind't feel hot. She looked at Jordan and said, "Maybe you are pregnant too." However, when Jordan didn't deny the accusation, she said, "You have got to be kidding me. You're pregnant."

Sonny dropped by Charlie's ahead of the reopening and was surprised to learn that Gio played guitar as well as the violin. Gio joked that he was a man of many talents, and Sonny asked why he was there alone. He was there to check out the acoustics for Kristina, but there was more to it than that.
Sonny told Gio that if he wanted to return to playing music, that's exactly what he should do. Sonny encouraged Gio not to pressure himself to play if he didn't want to, but he told his grandson to figure out what he wanted.
Sonny believed that the last year of Gio's life had taken a toll on him. Even though he and Brook Lynn had reached a better place, he needed to move forward with his life. Gio needed to either finish school or get a job. Working at Bobbie's didn't seem like a long-term solution for him, although Sonny supported it either way.
Sonny was confident that Gio's passion remained with music, which spoke volumes. Music was just as important to Gio as it had always been. Sonny didn't enjoy seeing Gio stuck in his life. He wanted to encourage him to pursue his passions.
Everything changed for Gio at the Nurse's Ball last year. Suddenly, he questioned everything about his life after the truth about his parentage came out. Without music, Gio wondered what he had to offer the world. Sonny loved Gio, and he didn't care what he did. Still, Gio needed to reenter the real world and out of the bubble he'd placed himself into.
