This week on General Hospital, the case against Michael finally fizzled out. At the PCPD, Dante, Nathan, and ADA Justine Turner questioned Kai about whether Michael could have had access to Drew’s house keys. Kai shut that down immediately and made it clear that Michael could not have had them. Dante acknowledged they had reached too many dead ends, and Turner called the investigation what it had become: a cold case.

Nathan backed the decision, and the shooting probe was effectively shelved. Michael later learned the news from Dante, who told him the investigation was being dropped, though that did not mean his name was cleared in anyone’s mind.

At Charlie’s Pub, Kristina, Jacinda, and Michael checked out the rebuilt space. Sonny joined them and admired the restoration, but the conversation quickly shifted to Willow becoming the new congresswoman. Kristina was furious and baffled by Laura’s decision.

Sonny kept his expression neutral and said he respected Laura’s judgment even if he did not agree with it. He also assured everyone that Michael would not be prosecuted and said he would handle things.

Across town, Willow posed for press photos beside Drew, who remained trapped in that grim half-life where everyone around him kept speaking over his body as if he were furniture. Laura pressed Willow directly, asking whether she planned to serve the people or simply keep carrying out revenge in a prettier outfit. Willow insisted she wanted to serve her constituents.

Laura encouraged her to resist Sidwell’s influence. Kai later stopped by and offered to help her find new interns, but Willow asked him to stay on staff instead. After everyone left, Willow told Drew that her original plan was not working, but now that she had this position, she believed it might work even better.

Meanwhile, Tracy sat Brook Lynn down and told her to get Chase to let go of his fixation on Michael. She made it plain that she did not trust Willow and still saw her as a professional victim, but she was equally convinced Chase’s choices were hurting Brook Lynn and threatening the adoption process.

Brook Lynn insisted Chase had chosen her over the investigation when she gave him an ultimatum. Later, Ned also cornered Chase and told him his priorities looked wrong. He warned that Chase seemed more invested in his ex-wife’s problems than in protecting his marriage.

Chase apologized if he had made the family question his devotion to Brook Lynn and promised he would make it right. Soon after, Brook Lynn and Chase headed out for a surprise date night and found a pregnant woman unconscious on the ground. She woke up frightened, introduced herself as Delilah, and begged them not to call 911.

She said she was from out of town and only needed to get back to her hotel, but then she was hit with pain. They took her straight to General Hospital. There, the doctors had to perform an emergency C-section to save the baby.

Brook Lynn stayed with Delilah while the woman panicked through early labor, and as she held her hand, a strange tattoo briefly came into view. Chase told Felicia he knew almost nothing about Delilah beyond her first name and the fact that she was from out of town. The baby was born and rushed to the NICU.

Although Britt and Lucas tried to save Delilah, she ultimately died. Elizabeth later found Britt crying in the locker room and reminded her that she had saved the baby.

Felicia told BLQ the infant had been listed as Jane Doe for now. Brook Lynn and Chase visited the baby and promised she would not be alone until they found her family. Nathan searched the area where Delilah was found and later turned up her purse, which was nearly empty except for a deck of cards and some perfume.

At Wyndemere, Marco tried to steal Britt’s medication from the safe but got caught by Sidwell, who accepted Marco’s cover story. Marco then hurried to GH and told Lucas what had happened, including that Carly had shown up at Wyndemere for a private meeting with Sidwell. Later, Lucas pressed Marco harder and made it plain that if Marco wanted him to stay in his life, then helping Britt was the deal. Marco reluctantly agreed.

Sidwell invited Carly to help plan a dinner party so Lucas’ family could get to know Marco. Carly soon snooped around and discovered a hidden safe behind a painting. Curtis offered Portia the house because he wanted their child raised there. Portia accepted, then called Isaiah over, smiling through tears in the house about to become hers.

In a separate twist, Jordan told Britt she might be pregnant. She said she was late, had been sexually active, and had not been careful every time. Britt offered to run a test, but they were interrupted. Jordan later carried a pregnancy test home in her purse, then quickly hid it when Curtis appeared. He filled her in on making peace with Portia and giving her the house. Jordan then shocked him by asking him to move in with her.

At the Quartermaines, Jason found Tracy chewing Danny out for turning the gatehouse into a mess. Alexis arrived after getting a call from Danny’s school saying he had skipped six times. Jason disciplined Danny, restricted the gatehouse, and later tried to open a more serious conversation about his will, wanting to know who should take care of Danny if something happened to him.

Alexis immediately argued that Danny should be with her and Scout, while Tracy insisted he belonged with the Quartermaines. Jason thanked them for stepping up and said he would think it through. Danny then spent time with Charlotte, and they finally talked about their kiss.

Charlotte admitted it made her realize she had wanted that moment for a while, but she also worried it should be their last because of Rocco and because her family life was so unstable. She said if Valentin had to run, she would go with him. Later, Charlotte secretly reunited with Valentin at Carly’s house while Lulu was talking to Josslyn.

Lulu later took Charlotte away without realizing what had just happened, and Valentin stayed hidden in the attic. Then Josslyn came home. She moved through Carly’s house with all that new WSB training switched on and found Valentin hiding in the attic. She pulled a gun on him, then took him down, kicked him, pistol-whipped him, and tied him up. Carly walked in, and the two soon argued. Carly admitted she was helping Valentin hide because she wanted him to help get Joss out of the WSB.

Josslyn admitted to Carly that lying to her was part of the assignment, that killing Cyrus was the price of justice after Dex’s murder, and that Brennan had effectively led her to Cyrus. Carly was appalled. Josslyn also turned on Sonny, too, accusing Carly of excusing the destruction Sonny caused and saying she wanted to take him and everyone like him down.

Carly begged her not to throw away her life over Sonny. Joss responded by giving Carly twenty-four hours to get rid of Valentin, or she would do it herself. Carly later told Valentin that Joss might protect her, but never him. Valentin warned that an emotional young WSB agent was dangerous, especially one furious enough to lash out without thinking through the consequences.

Carly also confessed that Josslyn’s motives had begun to horrify her because they reminded her of herself when she first came to Port Charles bent on revenge against Bobbie. She admitted that the WSB had warped people like Anna, Jack, and Valentin, and she did not want that to happen to Joss.

Meanwhile, Joss confronted Jason and was livid that he told Carly the truth about the WSB. Jason explained he warned Carly not to blow Joss’ cover, or she could end up dead. Joss insisted that he make Carly evict Valentin. She also told Jason how badly she wanted to take Sonny down and reminded him that Sonny recruited him when he was young, too.

Before that, Brennan questioned Jason about Cullum and made it clear that Jason owed him for making the evidence against Carly disappear. That pressure got Jason to reveal that his conversation with Cullum centered on Britt and their past. Later, Brennan confronted Britt directly in her office and accused her of avoiding him. He warned that he could bring charges if she continued to withhold information. Britt told him the shocking news that Cullum was a double agent working with Sidwell.

Jack called a friend in the Bureau, Melinda, and asked for Cullum’s itineraries and expense reports for the past three years. Elsewhere, Sonny and Justine shared a private night and woke the next morning in bed, trying to frame it as one time, one itch, one decision that would never happen again, but didn’t sound very convincing.

Both of them understood that if anyone saw them together, their lives could blow apart in a hurry. Lulu and Nathan kissed in front of Felicia, who absolutely did not let that pass. Felicia tore into Lulu for kissing her best friend’s husband.

Lulu argued that Maxie had already chosen Spinelli, but Felicia was not having it. Lulu later told Nathan she owed Maxie the truth and needed to own her feelings. On Friday, she told Maxie that while she was in her coma, she and Nathan got involved. Maxie admitted she sensed something was off with Nathan from the start and said he had every right to move on. She just didn’t want him moving on with Lulu. Nathan, meanwhile, was constantly lectured by Liesl, who wanted him to reunite with Maxie.

He eventually snapped and told her to back off. Liesl finally claimed she would stop interfering and then left for a medical conference in Auckland. Gio, Trina, Emma, and Kai spent time together trying to solve the issue of Sonny’s dog, and the group eventually turned Kai’s birthday into a small scene at the restaurant when Trina sang to him, and the crowd bought them drinks.

Gio later encouraged Trina to sing at Charlie’s open mic night reopening, and she agreed. Carly and Valentin ended the week far too close for comfort before giving in and tearing each other’s clothes off like two people who had run out of room to pretend otherwise.

General Hospital can be seen weekdays on ABC and Hulu.
