Michael noticed that something was troubling Wiley, and he asked what was going on. His son was upset that Jason and Danny were nowhere to be found, so Michael had some explaining to do. Jason went away for a while, but Danny was just at Alexis's, and they'd still see him often.

Wiley and Michael talked about Jacinda's fascination with spiders, and Michael confessed that spiders scared him. Olivia walked in on the conversation, and at first, she found it charming, but once she heard Wiley mention Jacinda, her demeanor changed.

Once Michael offered to call Jacinda over to the house, Olivia asked Wiley to leave the room. She apologized to Michael for "being right." Olivia wasn't sorry for the reasons that prompted her line of questioning. Olivia warned Michael about Jacinda's history and how Willow could use it against him. However, Michael defended his relationship with Jacinda.

Olivia yelled at Michael that he couldn't hide the fact that Jacinda used to be a hooker, and unknown to both, Wiley heard the entire exchange. Michael didn't think it was like Olivia to act like this toward his girlfriend. He understood her concerns about the sexual activity at the gatehouse, but Jacinda was great with his children and made everyone happy.

Brook Lynn told Chase to hurry up in the shower because they were mere minutes away from their interview with Phoebe's social worker. Chase wanted to reschedule after being exhausted from working the Marco homicide case. Brook Lynn wanted Chase to power through so the baby could be placed in their care immediately.

With Chase still upstairs, Brook Lynn welcomed the social worker into the home. Chase joined Brook Lynn and the social worker, and it became clear that he knew her from a previous case. She assumed it was still a detective, but Brook Lynn stopped him from revealing everything. Brook Lynn walked the social worker through Delilah's traumatic delivery, which ultimately claimed her life.

Brook Lynn felt a responsibility to ensure that the baby was well cared for, at least until her family came into the picture. The social worker asked if they were prepared for the arrangement to be temporary. With Chase and Brook Lynn both having experience as temporary guardians for other children.

While all of that was great to hear, the social worker had concerns about their attachment to the child. This wasn't a permanent adoption, so she needed to be certain that they'd be willing to give up the baby when the moment came. Brook Lynn and Chase acknowledged their involvement in the case and the frequency of their visits to the child.

However, despite all of that, the social worker noted that they called her Phoebe, which was a sign that they were perhaps too attached. She asked if she could speak to some of the other family members, but before she could, Wiley rushed into the room and asked if Brook Lynn knew what a hooker was.

Sonny wanted his team to give him the license plates of anyone who neared his home. Gio overheard part of the conversation and asked Sonny what was happening. There was a significant amount of security, and he wanted to know why things got intense.

Gio asked if it was related to the incident between Dante and Jason. Sonny explained the various layers of Jason and Dante, and he encountered Gio to check on his father if he was concerned. Gio thought Dante was fine, but Sonny assured his grandson that worrying about Dante was a natural feeling.

Gio understood why things were uncomfortable between himself and Dante. However, knowing the reasons why and doing things to fix it are two different things. Sonny believed that the ball was in Gio's court to make things right. Dante was giving Gio the space that he needed, so Gio needed to open the door.

Justine was furious that the WSB had interjected itself into the case. However, Dante recognized that they oversaw international crimes, so it made sense. Dante assured Justine that the WSB wouldn't get their hands on any of the evidence unless they had a court order.

Justine wanted to temporarily table the Jason situation to discuss Marco's murder. Dante revealed that there were no signs of forced entry, and with no cameras, they had zero leads. Justine inquired about Sidwell's reaction to Dante's interrogation, and he revealed that Sonny was his number one target.

Gio arrived at the PCPD to visit Dante, who was surprised to see him there. Dante confirmed that Jason attacked him, and he appreciated Gio for checking in on him. Gio tried to leave the station to give Dante some space, but Dante stopped him.

Dante and Gio enjoyed a coffee in one of the interrogation rooms. As things were going well, Gio admitted that Sonny pushed him to visit. However, he was glad he took the time to do it, and Dante felt the same. This was a major step for the father/son duo.

Justine showed up at Sonny's door, and his new dog wasn't thrilled to see her. Justine offered to speak directly to Sonny's dog, and although he wasn't a fan of her, she handed him some food, and he took off. Once the dog was satisfied, Justine told Sonny she had a few off-the-record questions for him.

Sonny vowed that he had nothing to do with Marco's death. He explained the connection between himself and Lucas, so there was no way he'd get involved in that. Sidwell wanted to blame anyone but himself, according to Sonny.

Rocco came downstairs, confused about why his mother didn't wake him up for school. Lulu thought that her son needed rest after the incident on the pier. Rocco was horrified to wake up the next morning and realize that shooting Agent Cullum wasn't a nightmare: it was real.

Lulu told Rocco that Nathan had shown up earlier while he was asleep, and he assumed it was to arrest him. Lulu explained that Nathan wanted Rocco to keep quiet to avoid anyone finding out what happened. Rocco asked where Jason was, and Lulu broke the news that he had taken the fall for his crime.

Rocco was beside himself after learning that Jason was being charged with his crime. It was Rocco and Jason's word against Cullum, and as a WSB agent, nobody would go against his word. No matter how many times Rocco tried to explain why he did what he did, Lulu wanted him to understand that it simply didn't matter.

Rocco was devastated that Danny's father was facing a life in prison because of him. Lulu told him that Jason made the choice that nobody, including Danny and Dante, could ever learn what really happened on the pier. This was best for everyone involved.

Lulu gave Rocco the space to feel whatever he felt about Britt. However, she wasn't surprised that he didn't want Cullum to succumb to his injuries. Rocco was a genuninely kind and decent person, despite some people not always deserving it. Rocco swore that all he wanted to do was stop Cullum from hurting Jason.

Lulu offered to stop by GH to get an update on Cullum's condition. As a reporter, she could use her credentials to potentially gain insight into the situation. Before leaving, Lulu reminded her son that she'd do anything to protect him and they'd get through it together.

After Lulu left, Charlotte returned home and asked Rocco how he had hurt his hand. He gave the fake cover story about the kitchen accident, and she quickly confessed what had happened with Danny from the previous evening. Rocco was horrified to hear about Jason being shackled and thrown into a van.

Britt didn't know how to react to Josslyn's idea for her to finish off Cullum. Josslyn didn't have access to him, but Britt did, and this was their best chance to take him out. Britt wondered if Josslyn had gone rogue by making this decision, or if it was a sanctioned kill.

Cullum was lethal, and Josslyn reminded her that if he recovered, Britt would be forced to work for him. However, Britt believed that she'd be murdered because of what took place on the pier with Jason. Josslyn told her, "Get Cullum before he gets to you."

Britt was surprised at how far she and Josslyn had come. Josslyn wanted to know what the next step was after they left her office. Killing Cullum was a major favor to ask Britt, so she offered to take him out instead. Britt didn't think that Josslyn should assume that type of risk, so she wanted to be the one to end his life.

Britt asked Josslyn if she'd ever taken anyone's life before, and her silence spoke volumes. Britt blamed herself for Marco's death and the circumstances surrounding Jason. With that in mind, she finally agreed to rid Cullum from their lives herself.

Britt ensured that nobody was around, and she sauntered into Cullum's room. She pulled out a syringe to finish him off, but Lulu arrived at the door and interrupted her. Britt snapped at Lulu for letting herself into Cullum's room, and Britt had no desire to speak to her about the shooting.

Lulu knew that Britt was involved, so she asked her to provide a statement. Britt wanted an update on Cullum and whether he was going to survive. Britt said that there was no definitive answer to that yet.

Josslyn closed the blinds to Cullum's room, but as she looked to take action to kill him, he woke up, staring her directly in the eye.
