Felicia, James, and Nathan met for breakfast at Bobbie's, and the moment Kai and Trina walked in, James wanted to say hi to his coach. Felicia gave her grandson permission to do so, which gave Nathan a chance to thank her for inviting him. He knew that she wasn't thrilled with him after the revelation of his romantic involvement with Lulu.

Felicia wanted to make her feelings about Nathan and Lulu crystal clear. Nathan told Felicia that his personal life wasn't any of her business. She recognized that Nathan and Lulu had made their choice, and initially, she was angry. Maxie's former husband dating her best friend was a lot for her to take on, especially right after awaking from a coma.

Felicia understood that Maxie sanctioned the relationship, so she agreed to show that much grace as well. Nathan loved having an opportunity to be James' father. There were so many father figures in James' life, but he didn't need to fill the void left behind by Nathan's "death" anymore.

Felicia pointed out how much James wanted to be just like his father. Nathan was still terrified at the idea of letting his son down. Felicia felt like that was inevitable and something that all parents wrestled with. Nathan had to take off after receiving a text that he "wasn't looking forward to."

Kai asked James how he felt about his upcoming game, and he was ready to come away with a win. He loved the chance to talk about baseball with Kai and Trina. James returned to his parents, and Kai received a phone call from Willow.

Portia told Isaiah she was nervous about her upcoming ultrasound. Curtis was going to be there, and she hadn't seen him since she and Jordan had their run-in at the nail salon. Portia knew that Jordan probably filled Curtis in, so she was worried that he'd come in hot.

Portia assumed that Curtis was furious with her, but that had nothing to do with his visit. He was hoping to accompany her to find out the baby's sex. However, she was uncertain if she was ready for that step. Portia asked Curtis if he was fine with her decision, and he confirmed that it was.

Things remained uncomfortable after that, so Portia declared that it was time for the former spouses to clear the air. Portia walked Curtis through what took place at the nail salon. She confessed to being snarky toward Jordan, and Curtis confirmed that Jordan told him. Curtis and Jordan weren't upset about what happened, and he hoped Portia could set aside their differences for the sake of the baby.

Portia told Curtis about her enlightening conversation with Stella. She helped Portia stop blaming Jordan for everything that had gone wrong in her life. Portia needed to accept responsibility for her current state of affairs and begin the healing process.

Curtis appreciated Portia being willing to have a fresh start with Jordan. Curtis said he'd accept Isaiah's place in her life if Portia could do the same with Jordan. Portia agreed to support anything that made Curtis happy and set a good example for their child.

Jordan stopped by Wyndemere to offer her condolences for the loss of Sidwell's son. She asked if there was anything she could do for him. Sidwell and Jordan looked over old photos of Marco, and he recalled being separated from his son as a child. There were so many missed years, and it was Marco coming out as gay that caused a rift between him and his mother.

Sidwell told Jordan he wanted something from her that only she could provide. He wanted to know about potential suspects in his son's murder. Jordan didn't have a ton of information, and Sidwell pressed her on if she had any remaining contacts at the PCPD. He wanted Jordan to see what the department wasn't being forthcoming about regarding Marco's death.

Sidwell didn't think Dante would be transparent about the investigation if it pointed the finger at Sonny. Jordan told Sidwell that Dante would never compromise his ethics like that. She was adamant that she could trust Dante, but Sidwell insisted he only trusted people he paid. Jordan took offense to the insinuation that she was like that.

After Jordan left, Nathan arrived, and Sidwell told him that he wanted results, not sympathy. Sidwell closed the door and acknowledged that he wasn't talking to Nathan West. Instead, he was talking to "Cassius Faison."

Willow apologized to Drew for keeping him in a locked state. She promised she'd eventually allow him to return to his normal state. Drew thought back to Sidwell's visit, where he floated the idea of Willow's political career taking off if Drew passed away.

Willow knew that Drew didn't believe her, but she vowed that things would change for the better. Her doorbell rang, and it was Chase, presumably there to discuss Michael's suggestion that she help with their foster efforts.

Willow asked Chase if he was there on official police business, but he assured her he wasn't. She was the only person who could potentially help him with what he needed the most. Chase explained the situation with Phoebe, and she commended their dedication to helping the child after her mother's death.

Willow wondered how she could assist, and Chase told her about the social worker visit, taking a sharp left turn. She inquired about what happened, and he told her that Wiley brought up the term hooker in front of the social worker. At first, Willow didn't understand why Wiley would use that term, and then it clicked: Michael and Jacinda.

Willow wasn't thrilled about Jacinda's involvement in her children's lives. She asked how Chase handled the situation, and things went really well. However, Chase couldn't get a read on the social worker's reaction to the moment. Willow agreed to put in a good word and do whatever she could to ensure they were named Phoebe's foster parents.

Alexis and Drew believing in her was one thing, but Chase didn't have to. He risked everything to help secure her freedom. Helping Chase out with his foster care ordeal was the least she could do.

Trina and Kai arrived at Willow's, and Trina was honest about how she felt about Drew. It was a complicated relationship, but she didn't think he deserved to be shot. Trina looked Willow in the face when saying it, completely aware that she fired the bullets into her husband's back.

Willow took Kai and Trina to Drew's bedside, and they made a series of errors that could come back to haunt them. First, Kai mentioned the baseball bat still being in police custody, knowing that it was recovered from the scene. Then, Trina foolishly pointed out that Willow's phone rang because of Wiley calling. Kai glared at Trina.

Michael returned home to the Q mansion, and Brook Lynn gave him the cold shoulder. He asked if she was mad at him, and he assumed it was related to Wiley's comment about hookers in front of the social worker. However, Brook Lynn informed him that she didn't have an issue with that. Her true gripe was Michael sending Chase directly into Willow's orbit.

Brook Lynn figured Chase was already at Willow's, and she regretted not going with him. Michael didn't realize that Willow remained such a bone of contention between Brook Lynn and Chase. Her husband's obsession with proving Willow's innocence led to a demotion and so much turmoil at the Q mansion.

Brook Lynn blamed Michael for enabling Chase to get sucked back into Willow's toxicity. Michael wasn't a fan of Willow's, but even he knew that she'd be able to help their current situation. Michael had reservations about Willow being around his children, but he was trying to power through. It was a struggle. Still, he showed no signs of contempt toward his children.

Michael asked Brook Lynn to try to do the same as him. They needed Willow's help, and Michael was adamant that they could handle it. Brook Lynn appreciated Michael's advice and support, and she felt terrible for how she treated him when he got home.

Brook Lynn was worried that Willow turned Chase down, but Michael knew that would never happen. He believed Willow would relish any moment to come off as the hero. Brook Lynn was concerned about the idea of Chase being in Willow's debt for any reason.
