Outside Bobbie's, a stunned Molly asked a stunned Kristina if she was messing with her. How the heck was Kristina accepted to med school? (A question fans have been asking since Kristina's surprise announcement.) Kristina remained in a daze, wondering if someone from UCLA was tricking her.

Molly grabbed the phone and deduced that this was indeed real. She grew extremely excited and happy for her sister, who just wanted a drink. Molly wasn't thinking about that. Instead, she excitedly dragged Kristina into Bobbie's and announced that her sister had been accepted to med school.

When they sat down, a shell-shocked Kristina claimed that she'd studied for the MCAT every chance she got, applied to UCLA and got in. Molly still had no idea that Kristina had been interested in medicine (and neither did we). Kristina surprised Molly when she said she'd been working on this since they lost the baby two years ago. (In between trying to kill Ava?)

Kristina recalled being in the hospital after the fall and watching how much the doctors cared. After her grief was less acute, she kept thinking about her time at the hospital and that made her realize she had a desire to be a doctor. "I want to make a real and measurable difference in another person's life," she said. However, she had no plans to actually go to medical school.

Kristina listed all the logical reasons why she shouldn't move halfway across the country, but Molly didn't think they were good reasons. Finally, Kristina admitted she didn't trust herself to start medical school and finish. Both girls were brought to tears as Molly told Kristina that going to medical school would be honoring their daughter.

Ric worries...a lot

An alarmed Ric rushed into a hospital room to find Elizabeth lying on a bed with an ice pack to her head. She told Ric that Britt had locked her in a bathroom, where she had hit her head. "I was trying to stop her from leaving town with Rocco," Liz said.

Ric was ready to take Britt to court for this, but Liz insisted they would do no such thing. She only cared about Rocco, not about punishing Britt. Ric calmed down and confessed that he was worried this was the thing that would ruin their happiness. Elizabeth was touched that Ric cared so much.

As Elizabeth relaxed on a pillow, she told Ric that Rocco was in a complicated situation. Dante had confided in her and she felt bad for him. "And Lulu too?" a curious Ric asked, as he worried about Elizabeth's interest in Dante's well-being.

Sonny takes over

Gio arrived at Sonny's office at his grandfather's behest and was shocked to learn that Rocco had left town. Gio admitted that Rocco no longer trusted him since he ratted him out to Dante. Gio told Sonny about his run-in with Rocco the other night, but he couldn't get Rocco to open up.

Gio still felt guilty about telling Dante, but Sonny assured him that he did the right thing. He assured Gio that brothers rebuild their trust. He and Ric were proof positive of that. Gio worried that Rocco might not be safe, but Sonny knew that Britt loved him and would do whatever it took to protect him.

At Lulu's house, Dante was grateful that they knew Rocco was okay, but Lulu insisted they could still make a case for kidnapping. It didn't matter that Rocco willingly left with Britt. He's underage and can't make a decision like that on his own. She wanted to bring in the FBI, but Dante warned if they did that, Rocco would be in more danger.

A slow Lulu didn't seem to understand why Rocco's life would be on the line if they called the FBI. Dante had to explain that it would lead the WSB right to him. They realized that Britt probably took Rocco because she knew Cullum was close to learning the truth.

Lulu was soon surprised to hear that Dante had wanted to call Sonny to see if he could help them both disappear with Rocco. Now, Dante wanted to take off to find his son, but Lulu insisted on going with him. Before they could get too far, Sonny arrived to offer his help. Sonny revealed that he'd deduced that this had to do with whatever really happened on Pier 55.

Sonny asked Dante and Lulu to sit tight and let a professional handle this. He planned to have Brick lead the search for Britt and Rocco.

Curtis' fate

Trina dropped by Jordan's place to find out what happened between Curtis and Isaiah. Curtis admitted he punched Isaiah, but felt her had a good reason for doing it. As Jordan and Curtis told Trina their suspicions about Isaiah, Trina didn't see where the evidence was that he was the other driver. That didn't stop Curtis from insisting he was right.

Curtis admitted that he hadn't meant to break Isaiah's hand, which led Trina to ask how much trouble her father was really in. Jordan was sure that things would be fine and that Justine wouldn't press charges.

After Trina left, Jordan told Curtis he needed to let go of his vengeance against Isaiah, for Trina's sake. Of course, Curtis was completely against this. Jordan pointed out that they still had no proof that Isaiah was the other driver. Jordan wanted to focus on the baby, but Curtis refused to let his anger go. Finally, Jordan convinced Curtis to try.

In Portia's office, Justine went over the assault report from the Metro Court Gardens. She needed to confirm their account of what happened before Curtis' arraignment, but had not decided whether to prosecute. Isaiah was taken aback when Justine asked if he had intentionally tried to provoke Curtis. Isaiah claimed he was defending his character, as he was doing now.

When Justine asked Portia for her account of things, she didn't make the situation any better for Curtis, whom she claimed had goaded Isaiah into a fight. He didn't even have remorse after punching Isaiah. Justine realized the seriousness of what happened when the doctors explained that Isaiah may never be able to perform surgery again, and certainly couldn't help a child in need of a liver transplant next week.

After Justine was gone, Isaiah ran into Kai outside young Derrick's hospital room. The doctor just had to tell his patient he couldn't perform his surgery. As for Portia, she met with Trina in her office and defended Isaiah. Trina just wanted everyone to get along. Portia refused to tell Isaiah to let things go, which only served to upset Trina. She worried about her baby sibling being caught in the middle and wanted Isaiah to show Curtis some mercy.

Trina later met up with Kai, who told her that a little boy could die because her father couldn't control his temper. As for Justine, she paid a visit to Jordan and Curtis, telling them that she was charging Curtis with felony assault and battery.
