On the Friday, May 29, 2025, episode of General Hospital, Michael devised the perfect plan to send Chase into Willow's arms.
What happened on General Hospital

Ava and Alexis' adventure continued as they arrived at a gallery, hoping to get them closer to the truth about Delilah. Ava's name clearly carried more weight than anyone could've expected. However, she knew that she needed to proceed with caution.
The owner of the gallery knew that Ava was acquiring pieces for Sidwell, so her work was clearly being kept under a close eye. Ava ushered Alexis out of the conversation so she didn't blow their investigation. She tried to take command of it, but Alexis openly asked about Delilah working for him.
The owner had poached Delilah from a competitor, and he believed that she was one of the best employees he ever had. That's all he had to offer Ava and Alexis, though. There was likely more to the story, but that was the only information he was willing to give. Alexis thought that it was a bust, but Ava wasn't as confident.
Picture perfect evidence

Tracy asked Ethan about whatever business proposition he might have for her. He blamed himself for Rocco having the chance to take off with Britt. He was the one who facilitated the fake passports, which gave his nephew the means to flee. However, Tracy didn't think that could be placed upon her former stepson.
Ethan wanted a job working for Tracy on dealings that were slightly unsavory. To his surprise, Tracy felt like she might have something specific for him to work on. Before they got into too many details, the gallery owner phoned Ethan and told him about Ava and Alexis sniffing around asking questions.
Later on, Ava name-dropped the power and financial influence of the Quartermaine family to get the gallery owner to open up a bit. To their surprise, the person most connected to Delilah was someone they all knew back in Port Charles. Ethan's connection to Delilah was staring them in the face in the form of a photo, and there was no denying it.
Michael connects the dots

Michael reminded Brook Lynn that Willow was focused on helping Chase, not her. He was full speed ahead on his plan to make it seem like they were having an affair, so planting the seeds of doubt was integral to that. Brook Lynn was doing her best to be the better person where Willow was concerned, but she had bigger problems.
Michael knew that Brook Lynn's car was in the shop, which meant that her cover was potentially blown. She knew how perceptive Michael was, so everything she was working to hide just blew sky high. Beyond that, Michael questioned what Brook Lynn's sudden interest in Trina's singing career was. It felt like it came completely out of nowhere, even if she claimed that it was tied to her love of Gio and music.
Michael knew that Brook Lynn wasn't there for the performance, so why was she so enthralled with Trina's success? Nothing added up, and with red flags abound, it was easy to put the pieces together. After BLQ was gone, he called Jacinda over and informed her about his belief that Brook Lynn was the one who caused the accident that left Jordan scarred.
Michael doesn't believe that Brook Lynn knew that the accident happened until far after the fact. Now that she knows the truth, she was overcompensating by rolling out the red carpet for Trina. Jacinda questioned how this could get Michael what he wanted, but it was simple: it would destroy Chase's image of Brook Lynn and send him straight into Willow's arms.
The road back to Chase

Willow confessed to Chase that she regretted ever marrying Drew. Any love that Willow had for Drew had dissipated. She didn't think that Drew ever truly loved her either. He only wanted to keep her away from Michael, and once he won that battle, that's all he cared about. Their entire marriage existed for the wrong reasons.
Chase understood where Willow was coming from because of how much pain Drew had caused for so many people. However, it was more than that. Willow confessed that she was guilty of more than Chase may have realized. Brook Lynn showed up with a gift for Willow, but on her way out, she warned Willow that she would destroy her, and that might've sent Chase and Willow on a collision course back to each other.
Portia lets Curtis have it

Portia tore into Curtis for shattering Isaiah's hand, which could cause a young boy to lose his life. This was more life or death than Curtis ever realized, but that didn't mean he was willing to eat crow. Curtis was just as adamant as ever that Isaiah got what was coming to him.
Portia was holding Curtis' feet to the fire, and she let him know that she managed to fund the young child's journey. Portia didn't believe that anything Isaiah said should have warranted the heinous assault. It didn't matter, though, because Curtis felt fully justified.
Portia was fully prepared to deny Jordan's presence in their baby's life if he wanted to threaten Isaiah's involvement. Portia stood by Isaiah because unlike Curtis, she felt fully loved and understood by him, something she never felt from Curtis. This was a moment of truth bomb after truth bomb, and it was long overdue for Curtis, who had grown far too arrogant.
Valentin makes his choice

Carly was still giving Valentin the cold shoulder after realizing that Valentin's loyalties would always lie with Anna. If she needed him, Valentin would be there in a heartbeat. It was somewhat hypocritical given the codependent relationship between Carly and Jason. Wouldn't she do exactly the same for her hitman bestie?
Carly was convinced that she couldn't count on Valentin in the way she believed she could. Whatever had been building between them suddenly felt over. She couldn't rely on him anymore. Charlotte randomly showed up at Carly's house, blaming herself for her brother's disappearance. She knew that Rocco was struggling, and because of her preoccupation with Danny, she felt like that was why Rocco turned to Britt.
After Charlotte left, Carly apologized for lashing out against Valentin. She was holding far too much against him, and she admitted that it wasn't fair to him. Still, his love of Anna was already complicating things, and she didn't want to force him to invest in a future with her.
Valentin didn't deny his feelings for Anna. He wanted to save Anna from her current hell, but it wasn't because of any lingering romantic emotions. Carly was his present, and she had brought back a spark to him that had disappeared years ago. Valentin wanted Carly throughout the entire journey, and after that speech, she felt compelled to kiss him.
