On the Thursday, October 8, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Lulu's article made waves, Chase refused to believe a word, Ava made Willow her new target, and Curtis got a new lawyer.
A Surprise for Curtis

Jordan greeted Curtis in his hospital room. Curtis was glad to still be in the hospital so he could spend time with Jordan, so she broke the news to him about Germany. Jordan offered to cancel the appointment, but Curtis told her not to. "You can't give up this opportunity...You have to do this," he said.
Curtis promised he had his family and would be fine while she was gone. Jordan worried about him going back to Pentonville. "It's way too dangerous," she said. Curtis still insisted that Jordan go. Jordan asked if Curtis would leave her if the situations were reversed.
Curtis said he would be giving Jordan the same pushback she was giving him, but Jordan was still nervous. She wanted him in Spring Ridge before she went, so Curtis thought back to his conversation with Willow, who had offered to help him. He then told Jordan that she had to go to Germany.
After Jordan left, Monet showed up again to ask why she hadn't heard from him. She told him that the judge made procedural errors, so she expected to win an appeal. She convinced Curtis to hire her. After they shook, she announced that Jordan was her sister.
Who Willow Really Is (Chase Too)

In the Q kitchen, Brook Lynn loudly and angrily sliced strawberries as Michael sat down. "You can blame me all you want. I'm not the reason your marriage is falling apart," Michael said. Brook Lynn waved the knife around and accused Michael of manipulating Chase into having an affair.
Tracy walked in and told Brook Lynn no knife fights before she had her tea. Then, she made an announcement. "Christmas came early this year. We got everything we want," Tracy said with the biggest smile on her face ever. (We bet the audience was smiling too.)
"It turns out that Drew never had a stroke," Tracy announced, confusing Michael and Brook Lynn. "Willow was drugging him on Sidwell's orders, no less." Brook Lynn asked, "Are you having a stroke, Granny?"
Tracy told them to look at their phones, so they did. Brook Lynn and Michael were shocked, but Tracy was gleeful. "I always knew that Lulu was an excellent journalist, but she has exposed Willow for all the world to see," Tracy said. She also thought it was hilarious that Drew was immobile all because of sweet Willow.
"If I didn't despise her, I would admire her," Tracy admitted. Michael and Tracy realized that underestimating Willow would be a mistake. "She's not going to take this lying down," Michael said. He was also sure the article would get Chase to see who Willow really was.
"Your car drama is nothing compared to this. I can't wait to see Chase's reaction," Tracy said. Right on cue, Chase came barrelling in demanding that Brook Lynn tell him she had "nothing to do with this hit piece on Willow."
Of course, a stunned Brook Lynn denied having anything to do with the article. So, Chase, being Chase, asked if Tracy or Michael had anything to do with it. As Chase insisted that this had to be fake news, Tracy explained how journalism works. "Lulu is a journalist. She wrote an article based on fact. It's her job," Tracy explained, offering a journalism lesson to the audience as well.
"This is a pack of lies," Chase said, falling short of using the words "Fake News." Chase was sure that they were all complicit in it being published. "Don't deny that you hate Willow," Chase spat, defending the worst possible actions, as so many people do, despite it being laid out in black and white for years.
"Why would I deny it? I have been saying for a long time that Willow Tait is a menace to society. Now, there's proof," Tracy said. Brook Lynn explained to Chase that the Invader had to have vetted the story to print the article. "We all just found out about it, same as you," Michael said. "That's the real Willow," Tracy asserted.
Tracy tried explaining things to Chase like he was five, telling him that was who Willow was, but he still refused to believe her. "It's who you are. All three of you. You tried to frame her for the car accident. You tried to implicate her in Drew's shooting. And you pushed her into the lake. But you are not going to get away with it anymore. I'm going to stop you," Chase declared.
After Chase was gone, Jordan showed up. She asked to speak to Michael alone. They went onto the patio, leaving Brook Lynn with Tracy. Brook Lynn was in a state of shock that Chase still believed Willow. "I'm sorry. Willow's been exposed. But so has Chase," Tracy correctly said.
Weeping Willow

In the gatehouse, Willow was frantically on the phone telling her staff not to talk to reporters until she issued a statement. She then opened the door to Britt, who told her to skip the denials and asked what she could do to help. "Wow, nice of you to believe the worst of me," Willow said.
Britt told her she was a doctor and she knew the medical facts about Drew's stroke never made sense. "Now the universe makes sense again," Britt said. She figured Sidwell forced Willow into it, but that meant he had leverage on her. "Actually, Sidwell didn't have to twist my arm very hard at all," Willow said, trying to hold back tears.
Willow then told Britt everything, from the mistake she made getting involved with Drew to her trial. She felt Drew was so suffocating that jail would have been better. Willow turned on the waterworks and told Britt how smothered she was. Britt felt sympathy for Willow, who didn't mention that she had shot Drew.
Britt asked why Sidwell would give her up and implicate himself in another crime right at this moment. Willow didn't answer her, so Britt asked if there was any proof of the allegations. Willow admitted that Drew was the proof. She worried his hatred for her would cause him to spill.
"I think there's one really good reason for Drew to keep quiet," Britt said. She pointed out that confirming the article would not be in Drew's best interest. Willow agreed, saying, "His whole master of the universe image would be shattered." Still, she was worried. "I don't know what's bigger. Drew's ego or his need for revenge."
Willow was frantic, worried that the court of public opinion would find her guilty. She also worried about how this would affect Wiley and Amelia. "Any truce I had with Michael is just going to blow up," she said. Right on cue, Chase arrived to be Willow's knight. "I'm so sorry about that article. I can't imagine what you're going through," he said, as Britt rolled her eyes.
Chase insisted that the Qs were behind the article. "But we are going to fight back and I know just how to do it," he said.
Carly's Big Laugh

In Carly's office, she sat at her desk staring in disbelief at Lulu's article on her desktop: MOTION DENIED! CONGRESSWOMAN GIVES HER HUSBAND PARALYTIC DRUG FOR MONTHS.
Just then, Drew barrelled in to complain about his parking spot. Carly realized he had no idea what had just happened to him. "You didn't read Lulu's article in the Invader," she laughed, as she turned the screen around to show him. Drew was in shock because he thought the article was supposed to be about his recovery.
"She said she was going to highlight my incredible journey back to health," Drew said, in disbelief. Carly found this to be poetic justice. "There's Willow, our revered congresswoman sent here from heaven. She hooked up with the lowest of the low to take you down," Carly said.
Carly noted how delicious it was knowing he was stuck in a wheelchair for months. "You now get to reprise your favorite role — victim. Everyone will take pity on you. And if Willow gets kicked out of Congress, you just may get your seat back," Carly pointed out.
Sonny's Girls

Sonny opened his door to find Ava standing there and asked where Avery was. Ava said she was at home and fine. "And she's going to stay there, Sonny, because I'm not letting you anywhere near her. Not after what you had done at Pentonville," Ava said.
Sonny angrily denied having anything to do with the Pentonville attack. Ava said that his temper was why she didn't want Avery with him. "I'd like to spare her from having to hear all of your lies," she said. Ava and Sonny argued back and forth until Sonny told Ava they were done. He expected to see Avery next week or he'd get her himself.
At least Carly brought Donna by, so he had one of his girls with him. Donna wanted to know where Avery was and was disappointed that she wouldn't be there. Sonny sent Donna to see the dog before asking Carly if she had something to ask him.
Carly said she had no intention of asking him if he was behind the attack at Pentonville. "I know you didn't. Ordering that hit would have been stupid," she said, before getting serious. "I know you. I believe you. And I know that this was a long time coming. And I know you're going straight."
Carly was surprised to hear so many people doubted Sonny. "The one that really breaks my heart is Dante. My son has completely given up on me," Sonny said. "It kills me that Dante doesn't believe me." Sonny was trying to let the whole thing blow over, but worried about how it would affect his kids, especially Avery since she was now a teenager.
When Carly was gone, Sonny warned Donna some kids at school might say he tried to hurt someone, but she needed to believe that he didn't. Donna said she'd always believe Sonny because he was the best dad in the whole entire world.
After she left Sonny's place, Ava met up with Drew at the Bad Jen as he stared at the article. She told him that she was happy to report that Sonny was in a "foul mood." Drew then informed her they had a problem. He showed her Lulu's article. "Brennan. He's back in the news and it's not good," Drew said.
Ava read the story and was shocked. However, she thought that implicating Willow in Jack's "stroke" could help Nina. Drew wondered if he should confirm or deny the article. "Confirm it. The best bet for this to go away is to bury Willow," Ava said.
