On the Wednesday, September 16, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Nina's last appointment of the day at the Metro Court Gardens went south, Drew and Scout shared some bonding moments, Valentin reassured Carly, and Chase walked out on Brook Lynn.
Reassurances

Ava showed up at Drew's house and made sure they were alone before telling him to "get out of those clothes." She informed Drew that he needed to check his body for ticks. "The irony of you having a blood-sucking parasite," an amused Drew said, after she told him a tick had been found on her neck.
Ava told Drew she wasn't leaving until Drew "checked every one of your nooks and crannies." She wasn't about to let a tick on Drew lead the authorities to Jack's body. So, Drew checked and reported back that he was tick-free. Ava then pointed out that if anyone came in contact with a tick at the nature preserve, the authorities might find Jack's body.
"As previously discussed, if I go down, you're coming with me," Ava reminded Drew. She told Drew that they needed a back up plan to make sure the WSB didn't come after them. Drew assured Ava that the last place the WSB would be looking was with them. "If Brennan's body shows up and the WSB and the PCPD need to pin it on somebody, I promise you they're not going to be looking in your direction," Drew said.
Teen Scene

Drew thought that Scout was with her tutor, but Danny found her in the Q stables during his cleanup duty. "I wanted to apologize," Scout said. "Things between you and my dad are about to get a lot worse," Scout told Danny that she had thrown him under the bus when Drew had been looking for her on Labor Day.
Danny was furious that Scout had done that. "Why give your dad another reason to hate me?" Danny asked. "What don't you want him to know? Where were you, really?" Scout lied some more and said she had gone to the PCU party on the beach. That's when Charlotte walked in and commented on how cool that was.
Scout insisted to Danny that she was hardly even there and didn't drink. After Scout left, Charlotte was surprised that Danny believed his sister. Charlotte knew she was lying. "I don't know where Scout was, but she was not at King's Beach. She was with a guy," Charlotte said.
Danny didn't believe her, but Charlotte pointed out that a sister isn't going to confide in her brother about a guy. Charlotte was determined to find out who this mystery guy was. Charlotte decided they still needed to incriminate Drew, so they'd make sure he was caught with someone he shouldn't be with. "Someone like me," Charlotte said.
When Scout returned home, he asked her how her calculus tutoring went and then sat her down to teach her some more. It was a surprising and genuine father-daughter moment. Scout found herself crying and telling Drew how hard it was for her when he was in a wheelchair.
You're Under Arrest

At the Metro Court Gardens, Nina left a message for Ric to call her with some legal advice. When she spotted Sonny, she happily called him over and told him that she was in a bit of a bind, thanks to his other ex-wife. She explained that Jack was missing and the WSB had been questioning her.
When Nina told Sonny that she was meeting Ava for a nightcap, Sonny said his goodbyes, but Nina stopped him. She thought he and Ava had been getting along. "When it comes to Ava, every truce is an opportunity to reload," Sonny said.
Just then, Tracy arrived, and she was there to meet with Sonny, much to Nina's surprise. Sonny sat down with Tracy, who told him that Brook Lynn was "the other driver." Sonny asked if Tracy needed his help in covering it up. Tracy said that Brook Lynn had already confessed, but was heartbroken.
Sonny didn't see why Brook Lynn would be heartbroken when she wasn't the one who caused the accident. Tracy explained that Chase had walked out, but Tracy wanted Sonny's help in getting Gio to understand.
Across the restaurant, Ava and Nina met up. Ava was surprised to hear that Nina was a person of interest in Jack's disappearance. Ava asked some questions, so Nina told her that she'd had a fight with Jack in public and was now a suspect. Just then, Agent Baines appeared, so Nina introduced him to Ava.
Baines didn't have time for introductions and promptly cuffed Nina. "Nina Reeves, you are being detained for the disappearance and possible murder of WSB agent Jack Brennan," Baines said, as Ava and Sonny tried to come to Nina's defense.
Vanna vs. Caradine

At Anna's, Carly apologized for stopping by unannounced, as she had not realized that Valentin would be there. She said she wanted to check on Anna, but then she just said she had to go and walked away. "Don't be a fool. Go after her," Anna said. She called Felicia to keep her company, but Valentin still refused to leave.
She told him that he could stay until Felicia got there on one condition. "When you find Carly, you tell her that you're done looking after me," Anna said, and then continued. "I know you well enough to notice there's something different about you and I think Carly's the reason for that. You're different with her. Freer, somehow. More truthful than I've ever known you," she added.
When Felicia arrived, Valentin finally left. Felicia wondered if Valentin was the right person for Anna to confide in, so she said it made her feel better to talk to Valentin. "But as much as I like to lean on him and how good it felt tonight, I can't do that again," Anna said. She admitted to Felicia that she would always love Valentin, but he was happy with Carly now.
When a frustrated Carly got home, she poured herself a glass of wine and remembered Valentin cooking her dinner and serving her wine. Valentin walked in while Carly sat and sulked with a drink. He told her that he didn't want her to get the wrong idea about why he was with Anna.
"It was good that you were with her. It's not hard for me to notice that Anna's going through a lot," Carly said. Valentin wanted to tell Carly what was going on with Anna, but Carly understood that Anna was entitled to her privacy. Valentin thought that Carly deserved an honest picture of what was going on.
He asked Carly why she had stopped by Anna's. Carly told Valentin what had happened at the Brown Dog between Josslyn and Emma. Carly felt whatever was going on had to do with the WSB and worried about Josslyn. Valentin said that Josslyn didn't have to end up like Anna, because Anna was a special case.
He thought Anna's problems stemmed from Faison and were unique to Anna. The same fate would not befall Josslyn. He said he just wanted Anna to be happy and at peace. "And that's all she wants from me. And I am. With you," he said.
Chase vs. Chase

Brook Lynn was tending to Phoebe when Chase walked into their bedroom. "I'm not back. I'm here to see Phoebe and to pack. I'm moving out," Chase said. As Chase packed his overnight bag, Brook Lynn begged him to stay and talk to her. Instead, he picked up Phoebe and said there was no other way.
Brook Lynn, the woman who was almost killed by two people who decided to kiss and drive, told Chase that it was all her fault that he was missing time with his daughter. Chase asked if he could be the one to put her to bed, so he left for the nursery with the baby.
Chase returned from the nursery, so Brook Lynn made some small talk about the baby. Then, Brook Lynn had an idea. "If my family is the problem, then we'll go. Me, you, and Phoebe, we can get a house of our own away from everyone here," she said. Chase said the problem was honesty between them. "When you're in trouble, your default is to lie about it," Chase told a devastated Brook Lynn.
Brook Lynn pointed out the things that Chase had kept from her, stressing that trust was a two-way street. "I'm still here. You are the one who is walking out the door," she said. Brook Lynn was devastated when Chase said he had spoken to Alexis about a legal separation. Alexis refused to do it, but he was going to find another lawyer.
Brook Lynn told Chase to take the time and space he needed, but begged him not to file for separation just yet. After some more tears, Chase finally agreed to wait.
Is Chase being a jerk to Brook Lynn? Do you want to see Sonny help Nina? Was it nice to see Drew acting human? Sound off in the comments.
