General Hospital Rehash, May 8: Cassius gets creepy...Lulu fights back

General Hospital's "Nathan" and Lulu never seemed right with us, mainly because we knew all along he wasn't Nathan. (GH made it quite obvious from the start.) Sleeping with a man thinking he is someone else is enough to give us the icks. Finally, Lulu is also starting to get the icks, and she doesn't even know this man isn't Nathan yet.

Cassius goes too far

Cassius (Ryan Paevey) began to outstay his welcome in Lulu's (Alexa Havins) house and life the first time he told her to send Rocco (Finn Carr) out of town for his own good. Lulu didn't like being told what to do with her own child then and she didn't like it again on Friday. But this time, Cassius went too far.

It's clear that Cassius has a much hotter temper than his late twin brother, which is the thing that keeps tripping people up. Nathan (Ryan Paevey) never lost his cool like this, but Cassius does it a little too often. When he insinuated that Lulu was both stupid and a bad mother, he had no idea what he had just done.

He also doesn't know Lulu Spencer because she doesn't play. She has been in countless precarious situations and learned how to take care of himself from the master, her father, Luke Spencer (the late Anthony Geary). Her mother, Mayor Laura (Genie Francis), is another pretty tough cookie. And did Cassius ever meet her cousin Carly (Laura Wright), the mother of the girl he has locked in the bowels of Wyndemere?

General Hospital's Lulu has had enough

After listening to Cassius and not liking what she heard, Lulu promptly removed him from Rocco duties and her house. And we could not be prouder. We were afraid she was so smitten with this man who is not the man she thinks he is, that she'd let him walk all over her, which would have been completely out of character.

For now, Lulu did the right thing for her son and for herself. When she learns who Cassius really is, she will be floored. He seems to be in love with Lulu now, but there's a pretty good bet that he will never be allowed back in her house when this is all over.
