Since being shot and nearly killed on General Hospital, Ross Cullum, played by Andrew Hawkes, has been showing a friendlier side to the medical staff while he recovers. The ruthless, icy, and cold-blooded WSB Director has even cracked some smiles, blissfully unaware that Rocco Falconeri is his assailant. In real life, Hawkes has lately been sharing humorous videos from his GH dressing room.

General Hospital's Cullum invades Brennan's space

Hawkes revealed that while working in the studio this week, he was given the dressing room usually used by Chris McKenna (Jack Brennan). On his Instagram Stories, Hawkes shared a video of himself walking around the room, speaking in his most menacing Cullum voice, joking that he was going to do some “redecorating,” promising to rearrange some of the pictures. He pointed out a drawing of McKenna that is on his wall, as well as some photographic art.

There is a photo on the wall of McKenna shirtless in a boxing uniform and gloves, sitting by a boxing ring with two men. Hawkes said he was going to take that one home with him. It’s unclear where that photo was from, but McKenna starred as a boxer in the film The Will in 2020.

McKenna shared that video on his Instagram grid, saying, “They gave Cullum my dressing room #WSB #GH #Cullum @theandrewhawkes #Brennan.”

Hawkes shared another video of him messing with another framed photo on McKenna’s wall. McKenna commented on that photo, “They gave Cullum my dressing room. Will the indignities ever end?” Hawkes quipped, “The indignities are just beginning.”

Ross Cullum is looking for love

In another post, Hawkes appeared in Cullum's wardrobe, his hair straight and neatly combed. The actor humorously shared a video depicting what it would be like if Cullum were looking for love on a dating site. “Is there really someone for everyone?” Hawkes captioned his image.

In character, Hawkes joked that Cullum speaks 57 (!) languages, while noting that the WSB Director, despite his murderous nature, also likes long walks on the beach, sushi, political intrigue, puppies, Harry Potter, and 90s hip hop.

“I’m in," joked McKenna in the comments section.

Dozens of GH fans weighed in with laughter and support, with some women joking that Cullum was just their type now, wondering how they could join the WSB.

The fan @derrybernadette said, “LOL some actors and actresses have a hint of themselves in their character (correct me if I am wrong), but you haven't even given a hint of yourself in Cullum. That’s what makes you a good actor.”

The fan @emilinab1 joked, “This is iconic 😂😂😂 I could tell Cullum shared love of 90’s hip hop. I might have seen him at a Bell Biv DeVoe reunion concert.”

While lying in his hospital bed, Cullum has been trying to pick up clues about the identity of his actual shooter. It's likely not going to be a laughing matter when he discovers that Rocco (Finn Carr) is the one who pumped him with lead!
