Young former General Hospital actress Jophielle Love has shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her current role on the ABC primetime series Will Trent.

Love (Violet Finn) portrays Cooper Ormewood on the hit series, which shows the lives and careers of the title character (Ramón Rodríguez) and his colleagues at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in Atlanta.

Love has been on the last two episodes of the series, as Cooper supports her father Michael, a detective who is undergoing treatment for a brain tumor.

In the January 13th episode, Love was in a scene with McLaughlin and other actors eating pancakes. ABC posted a behind-the-scenes video of the work that went into making the food for that scene. Love shared that reel on her Instagram account, which is run by her mother.

The video shows one crew member making the pancakes, and another setting the table and making the breakfast table look like real life. Love is shown in the video putting whipped cream on her pancakes in the form of a smile. The crew members said sometimes the actors eat the food. Food unused during the scenes usually gets thrown out for safety reasons, but the stuff that isn’t used on set is usually given to the cast and crew.

Raphael Luce, Love’s older brother and an actor himself, commented on the post, “Jophielle always eats the food. I’m sure she made you cook 20 pancakes!” Luce, whose current role is playing a younger version of Henry Creel AKA the big bad Vecna on Stranger Things, added a laughing emoji.

ABC also shared a clip of the January 20th episode, with Love’s character helping walk Will Trent’s dog, Betty. Love had a lot to do in the episode as Cooper worried about her father. While undergoing chemotherapy for his brain tumor, Michael Ormewood has been on desk duty and only allowed to do light exercise and avoid exertion.

In the episode, the dog walk brought Cooper and her father into the path of two dangerous fugitives, with the pup helping them out. Later, in a comedic scene, Michael ran down a suspect riding a bicycle, which exhausted him to the point where the suspect was concerned about his condition. Michael later went home and fell asleep on his living room couch after bringing some food for his daughter. Cooper covered him up with a blanket and let him sleep.

General Hospital fans have seen this before, when Violet helped look after her grandpa Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) when he was slowly dying from ALS.

Several fans of Will Trent commented on ABC’s post about the dog walking, saying they enjoy Love's presence on the show, with some recognizing her from General Hospital.

The Instagram user chefpeppermint said, “I love how she looks after her dad.”

The fan davidandrewfilms said the storyline with Love’s character looking after her dad rang true to real life. “I thought watching Jake's character go through Cancer treatment while I was doing the same would be a little difficult, but in the latest episode you all really nailed it. I'm navigating life with 2 small kids, chemo, and I have help but damn if it aint still hard. I can literally fall asleep anywhere currently. Thanks Jake and team. It was cathartic seeing this.”

Love commented on the post, “What a fun time with Betty! She is the best!”
