On General Hospital, the stakes have shifted as Sidwell realizes that Lucas has been listening in on his plans, leaving Marco desperate need to save his lover today.
What Happened On General Hospital

It all went south because Pascal (Marc Forget) didn’t think twice before running to Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to snitch about Lucas (Van Hansis) eavesdropping on their business, and for a guy like Sidwell, transparency is just a weakness, so he didn't waste any time showing everyone just how scary he can be when he thinks his empire is being messed with. The man with the Bond-Villain voice was in fine form today.

Sidwell was acting totally cold while he talked about the betrayal and he made it pretty clear to Pascal that he’s fine with having his own son’s boyfriend killed just to keep things moving and when Pascal tried to talk about it Sidwell just shut him down and told him to never question his son’s loyalty which basically means Pascal better watch his step too because the implication was that Marco (Adrian Anchondo) is the one who is trusted but Lucas is the one who is totally expendable in the long run.
The creepiest part was when Sidwell talked about Lucas "disappearing" and then said he’d be there to console his own son afterward, which is just a wild look at a father who thinks his son’s heart breaking is just another line item in a business budget. I knew Sidwell was ruthless, and noone does it better, in any soap, but wow, he just came straight out with it and so calmy. Lucas, boy, you had better think long and hard about your next actions.
Willow is just over it.

Also of note today, she’s tired of being stuck in the middle of all the Davis family drama and she finally stood her ground when Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) started in with the questions and at the same time Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) seat in Congress is looking pretty shaky because of all the political games in Port Charles that might end up digging up all the secrets he’s been trying to keep under the rug and over on X the fans are already worried about how many people Sidwell is threatening and some people think he’s the most realistic threat the show has had in years because he’s so quiet about it and over on the Facebook groups everyone is pretty much terrified for Lucas and wondering if a legacy character like the doctor can even survive this story or if Marco can find a way to get him back in line before time runs out.
Is Lucas really on his way out, or is there a miracle waiting for him in the wings? Sound off in the comments how you think this will play out.
