On General Hospital, Valentin Cassadine remains a fugitive from the WSB, leaving Nina Reeves caught between her debt to Jack Brennan and her loyalty to Valentin.
What Happened on General Hospital

The situation couldn’t be worse for Nina (Cynthia Watros), she must try to find a way through this mess of conflicting loyalties. While Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is busy playing an adult game of hide-and-seek with international authorities and very adult consequences, Nina is stuck in Port Charles by a massive favor she can never truly repay, because she knows that without Jack's (Chris McKenna) help, the camera footage might have been enough to have the jury deliver a guilty verdict to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Would Jack follow through with his threat and release the camera footage?
Definitely, but how would he explain it surfacing now? I could be wrong, but is'nt it too late for that? Yes Jack mentioned the court of public opinion and that people would know about the footage, but it's not what you know, it's what you can prove in court. Plus, I'm not sure Willow cares too much for her "public image" among the masses.

Jack took a big step into the power vacuum left at the WSB, and he took a big step further, directly into Nina's life, making Willow's legal troubles vanish. For a mother who has spent years desperate for a scrap of her daughter’s affection, the chance to keep Willow out of prison was worth any price. But Brennan isn't known for his charity. There is a cost to his favors, and for this particular one, he wants Valentin, and Jack is well aware that the quickest way to find the elusive Valentin is through the people he loves most. He isn’t a big shot at the WSB by being naive or having a straight moral compass.

Brennan’s demand is simple but clear on General Hospital: Nina needs to use her connection to Charlotte to pinpoint Valentin’s location. It’s a classic spy tactic, pull on the strings of family to flush out a target. Valentin has spent months in the shadows, protecting Charlotte and staying one step, a short one at that, ahead of Anna and the rest of the bureau. If Nina chooses to cooperate, she will secure Willow’s future but potentially sign Valentin’s death warrant, or at the very least, a lengthy return to a jail cell.
There is quite the storied history between Valentin and Nina, filled with shared grief over daughters and a chemistry that never quite flickered out. I could easily see Nina trying to find a way to help Jack in repayment for the debt, but at the same time giving Valentin a heads up or at least not just dropping him in the doo doo. Valentin has proven time and again that he would move heaven and earth for Nina, even when they weren't on the best of terms. Trying to get her to flip on him is asking her to destroy the one person who has always seen her as more than just a villain. General Hospital has been brilliant at delivering these kind of moments, and I was as shocked as anyone, by Willow stabbing Drew (Cameron Mathison). So is there a chance that Valentin sees the black Chevy Tahoes, come screaming into the property, without a tip off from Nina? Don't count it out.
Nina is a woman driven by being a mother. She has demonstrated that she will burn her life right to the ground before, to protect or connect with her children. Willow is finally starting to see Nina in a new light, and the threat of Brennan reversing his "help" hangs over them like an anvil on a cartoon show, ready to drop on the unsuspecting. If the WSB chief decides to stop protecting Willow, the fragile peace between the Corinthos and the Quartermaines will come apart.
Can Nina find a way to satisfy Brennan’s insatiable need to capture Valentin and justice without handing Valentin over on a silver platter? She’s proven herself resourceful in a crisis, but Brennan is a different breed entirely. He’s a man who understands the leverage of secrets and how to use them. Whether Nina chooses her daughter’s freedom or her ex-husband’s safety, someone is going to lose bigtime. And as always, Im here for the drama.
