General Hospital's Britt left an empty syringe in her room above Bobbie's, and the police are now analyzing it. Dante assumed it must be medication Britt had been taking for her Huntington's Disease, but insisted on having the lab test the residue just to be sure. What if that syringe has a surprise inside, with the biggest surprise being for Britt?

When Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) decided to throw herself a New Year's Eve birthday party and skip town for good, she truly believed she was dying from Huntington's Disease. She had learned she had the marker for the disease in 2021, but in 2022, she got the official diagnosis.

However, we all thought Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) had died as 2022 turned into 2023 via Heather Webber's (Ally Mills) poison hook. Even Britt thought she had died. In 2025, she turned up alive and semi-well. She had no Huntington's symptoms whatsoever, which made us think she had been misdiagnosed.

It turned out that Britt was revived and given meds to keep her symptoms under control, but there was a catch. These bad players who once worked with her madman father, would only let her have the meds if she completed Faison's final project for them, which seems to be a cold fusion bomb.

When Britt took off with Rocco (Finn Carr), she was willing to give up her meds rather than deliver a "prototype" but she left a used syringe in her room above Bobbie's that the police had found. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) ordered that the lab test what was in the syringe. We're pretty sure it's going to come back as saline.

Since last summer, we have had a feeling that Britt was purposely misdiagnosed just so Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) could use her and her scientific knowledge to complete this crazed and dangerous project. We expected Britt to learn that her meds were nothing but a placebo when she planned to reverse engineer them, but that never happened.

With Dante testing the residue in the syringe, he is bound to learn that it was either sugar water or saline. Since Britt is out of town and convinced she is going to die sooner rather than later, she might be experiencing more psychosomatic symptoms. But boy, will she be surprised when this is all over to learn she wasted nearly four years of her life on a dirty trick.
