General Hospital's Carly is hopping mad. The WSB took Jason away and she wants him back. While her attic boyfriend, Valentin, has said he would help make that happen, Carly thought she could turn to a current WSB agent for help — her official boyfriend, Jack Brennan. Sadly, Jack told Carly there was nothing he could do, but what if he was the one behind the whole thing...but for good reason?
Chaos and calamities lead to government-sanctioned kidnapping

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) hit the nail right on the head when she described what the WSB did as government-sanctioned kidnapping. Every human being on United States soil is entitled to due process, no matter the crime, but Jason (Steve Burton) was taken away to parts unknown without an arraignment, a trial, or any kind of defense. There is nothing right about that, but the entire scenario leaves us with some questions.
Jason decided right away that he was going to take the fall for shooting Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). There was no way he was going to allow Rocco's act of heroism to ruin Rocco's (Finn Carr) life. Jason had been in situations like this before through the decades, with his second home being the PCPD interrogation room. He knew this crime was more serious because a WSB agent was shot, but he may not have expected to be taken away within minutes.
When Jack (Chris McKenna) supervised Jason's transfer, he and Jason exchanged looks while agents put Jason in cuffs and chains. Jack told Jason that he had better hope Cullum didn't die, but there seemed to be something unspoken between the two men. Perhaps Jack was trying to help Jason...
General Hospital's Jack Brennan twist

On Monday, Jack shouted at someone on the phone that he needed to know where "he" is. However, we cannot be sure who the "he" was that Jack was referring to. It could have been Jason or it could have been someone else. If "he" actually was Jason, maybe Jack just wanted to know Jason's whereabouts at all times.
Just as an angry Jack hung up, Carly (Laura Wright) appeared, demanding to know where Jason was. Jack seemed genuine when he told her that he had no idea, but Jack is also a seasoned liar and has been looking Carly in the eye and telling her untruths and half-truths since the moment they met. Carly knows that now, but she might still be underestimating Jack.
Jack's redemption arc?

Currently, Carly has never been more furious with Jack and wants him out of her life, but she wants to destroy his life first. After all, he was the one who brought her daughter into the WSB. She has also fallen for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) during her quest to bring down Jack, as she and Valentin both see Jack as the bad guy and their target.
If Jack indeed knows where Jason is and made sure he got to a safe place, that would change things for Carly and she might be torn between these two WSB old pals who would do anything for her. That would only serve to make the story so much more compelling once Jason makes his way back to Port Charles this summer...
