General Hospital YAPP Recap, April 3: Poor, poor forgotten Molly

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Molly sure got it right a while back when she lamented that she was often the forgotten sister. She wasn't needy like Kristina or an adventure heroine like Sam. She was just well-adjusted, smart, and reliable Molly, who never made a mistake and never needed much. Even Ric pointed that out to Alexis, that she always put her youngest daughter last. Well, today Molly had surgery, and not even Ric could give her a thought or a mention. In fact, both of Molly's parents had plans to go to Marco's funeral rather than be there in the hospital while their daughter was under anesthesia. At least Kristina put in a brief appearance before heading over to the church. Ric was more concerned with his plans with Sonny and Molly wasn't remotely on his mind. Alexis never made it to the funeral because she had to deal with Danny's suspension, but she didn't even mention Molly's name once. At least Molly had Cody there when she adorably came to after the procedure, all woozy and hilarious from the anesthesia. Those scenes reminded us of what a sweet couple Molly and Cody make and soaps need sweet couples like that sometimes. But boy, did Molly's family screw this one up. Hopefully, they stop by at some point on Monday or we'd disown them if we were the itimidable Molly Lansing-Davis.
