On the Tuesday, August 18, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Anna furthered her plot to trap Britt, Josslyn said way, way too much, and Lucas gave Ava sad news.
Sonny Gives Some Good Advice

Anna dropped by Sonny's place, happy with the good news that Dante had given her. Sonny was going to be focusing on coffee from now on. "Yeah, I'm looking forward to expanding Corinthos Coffee and spending more time with Donna and Avery," he said.
Sonny asked if Anna had an issue with Emma and Gio's romance, but Anna couldn't be happier for the young couple. They began to talk about all they had gone through, including the Sidwell mess. Sonny noted that the danger from Sidwell had caused him to rethink some choices.
Anna said she understood that personal choices could put loved ones in danger. Sonny could see that something was off with Anna, so he asked if she was okay. Anna said she was fine. She just had some delusional anger over Faison and her kidnapping ordeal. "I was lucky enough to be able to fight my way back to reality," she said.
Sonny understood what it was like to not trust your own mind. "You feel like people trying to help you are your enemy," Sonny said, as Anna teared up. "The hardest part was being trapped," Anna said, remembering being in the room at Wyndemere. She also had a confession. "It's not completely over. There's something else. Something I haven't told anyone," Anna said.
Rather than admitting that she had visions of Peter dancing in her head, Anna told Sonny that being locked up for so long had left her a bit claustrophobic. She just wanted her own open space, so was considering buying land to build her own retreat. She asked Sonny if he would sell her some local mountain land he owned.
Sonny agreed to sell Anna the land, but asked if she was in therapy. Anna was not. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you should be," Sonny suggested. "I fought tooth and nail against therapy, but now I can't imagine my life without it...I learned the hard way that sometimes it's not good to be alone with your thoughts."
Before Anna left, she made sure Sonny wouldn't tell anyone that he was selling her a piece of land. "I know this doesn't sound rational, but I want no one to know about this place," she said. When Anna walked out the door, Peter appeared and said, "You don't need to see a shrink. You have me."
Stalker Time

At the Surf Lodge, Gio and Trina went over their music. Gio noticed that Trina was distracted, so she admitted that she hadn't prepared much, as she was mainly thinking about her dad. "I just keep imagining what it's going to be like to visit my dad in Pentonville for the next two years," she said.
Gio tried to be encouraging, saying that they would both make it through. The ordeal inspired Trina to focus on a song about loss and not the ones that Simon had suggested. Gio thought Trina should put her effort into lyrics that she felt and not a song that was assigned.
Emma soon arrived, along with Kai's friend, Quinn. Emma and Quinn were both volunteering at the animal shelter. He had given her a ride and was going to get takeout, but Trina invited him to sit with them while he waited for his food.
Quinn was fascinated by their conversation and asked Trina when she had switched from art to music. Trina explained that this was a new development. "Gio's mom changed everything," she said.
After Quinn left, someone watched Trina from outside and she and Gio showed off pictures of their new baby brother and sister.
New Digs

Ava and Lucas met for lunch at the Metro Court pool, where he thanked her for her hospitality, but said that he had now found his own place. Ava didn't seem happy about that because she liked having Lucas around. "I hope Lucy didn't talk you into signing a lease before you had a chance to really think about this," Ava said.
Lucas told his aunt that Elizabeth helped him find the apartment. Lucy had nothing to do with it. Ava encouraged Lucas to sign a month-to-month lease, in case things didn't work out. She wasn't sure that Lucas should be living on his own, after everything that had happened with Marco and Sidwell.
"Plus, I like having you there. It's nice to have someone there to come home to," Ava admitted. Lucas felt the same, but he was a grown man and had to branch out on his own. "I can't hide from life anymore," Lucas said. "I am ready to move forward and a big reason I can do that is because of you and your support."
Ava wanted to see the place, so Lucas whipped out the keys and offered to show it to her now.
New Digs and Questions

Lucy did her best to get Joe to sign a lease on a new apartment right away. Before Lucy could say much more, Joe asked Lucy about her statement about Willow being on Route 91 the night of Jordan's accident. She hedged Joe's questions for a bit and then implied that Drew had to be lying or confused when he was on the stand at Curtis' trial.
Lucy rambled on and on for a bit, claiming she was just an overthinker. But Joe was suspicious. Lucy changed the subject back to the apartment. Joe decided to sign a lease. As Lucy tried to submit the lease electronically, she had some technical difficulties.
Lucy said she would submit the lease when she had better WiFi, so Joe went to take some measurements. That's when Ava and Lucas showed up, not even noticing the sunglasses sitting around. Ava loved the place, but was still sad that Lucas was leaving her.
Lucas knew that Ava had some bad luck with men recently and questioned her about Ethan. She said she knew he was trying to protect someone, so he hadn't completely ghosted her.
Josslyn Blabs

Outside the Q boathouse, Josslyn dismissed Hudson, but he refused to go. He was going to help her find the right CEO. He even took his shoes off to dip his feet in the lake.
When Brook Lynn and Chase showed up with the baby, Josslyn introduced them all to Hudson, whose ears perked up when Josslyn mentioned finalizing the adoption. He looked down at Phoebe and seemed to have a look of realization on his face.
Hudson walked off to help Chase with their food and drinks, so Josslyn was left to play with the baby and talk to Brook Lynn. She assured Brook Lynn she was not quitting the WSB to become a CEO. Hudson and Josslyn left to continue their work in her apartment, but not before Hudson said a special goodbye to Phoebe.
Once they were alone, Chase asked Brook Lynn if she was okay with Willow living at the gatehouse. "I want you to be okay with it, which means not being so tone deaf about being around Willow, a mistake I'm not going to make again," he said, forgetting that he had been shirtless around her all morning.
Chase admitted that he had gone too far in defending Willow, even after she was acquitted. He was even surprised that Tracy allowed Willow to move onto the property. Chase offered that they could look for a place of their own, but Brook Lynn said that would break Tracy's heart. She'd just find a way to coexist with Willow.
Back at Josslyn's apartment, Hudson noted how cute Phoebe was. "Sounds like there's a story there," he mentioned. That prompted Josslyn to tell Hudson the story of Phoebe's birth. Hudson was really curious when Josslyn mentioned that Alexis had tracked down Phoebe's bio dad. When Josslyn told Hudson to go back to Australia, he said he wasn't leaving until his job was done.
Jason Stuns Britt

At the softball fields, Britt spotted Jason wearing an ELQ softball jersey. She asked where the Corinthos Coffee jersey was, so Jason gave her the big news. "I'm not a partner in Corinthos Coffee anymore," Jason said, stunning Britt. "I made a decision to no longer work with Sonny, so he agreed to buy out my half of the company."
"And now you're...working for ELQ?" a confused Britt asked. Jason told her he was helping out. It was a family business, after all. They didn't have a chance to talk about the matter much more because they had to head to an equipment manager's meeting.
After their meeting, Britt went right back to questioning Jason about his new life decision. "Do you really think you could stand back and do nothing if Sonny ever got in real trouble?" Britt asked. Jason admitted it would be tough to stay away, but he had to do it for Danny's sake.
"How would you feel if something happened to Sonny and you didn't do anything to stop it? I don't know. Life has a way of making you do some things you really don't want to do," Britt said.
Jason asked if that was what happened to Britt after the WSB took him away. Britt said that she just continued working for Cullum because she had no choice. She wasn't sure what Cassius' full involvement was, but knew that Cullum wasn't a hero.
Does Sonny know that something is wrong with Anna? What is Anna really planning? Discuss in the comments.
