On the Tuesday, August 25, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Valentin calmed Anna, Lulu calmed Ric, and Jason calmed Carly, but Hallucination Peter refused to keep things calm for long.
Ric Gets Another Eyeful

A limping Dante hobbled over to Elizabeth at the GH nurses' station. Ric walked in just in time to see them smiling at one another. When Dante asked for a wheelchair, Liz playfully grabbed one, bothering an out-of-sight Ric some more. In an exam room, Liz informed Dante that he needed an MRI and could need surgery.
Dante worried that he'd be benched for the season after finally getting Rocco to agree to play. "Softball is like this no-pressure way for us to hang out together and now I might get that chance because of this," Dante lamented.
Mother-Daughter Lunch

Britt and Liesl sat down for a meal at the Metro Court Gardens. Liesl lamented that she had been planning a trip to Australia to visit James and Maxie, but was told it was too soon. Maxie felt James wasn't ready yet. She wanted him to get used to his new life before any visitors from Port Charles arrived.
Liesl also knew that Maxie didn't want James to have any reminders of Cassius at the moment. Liesl knew there had been good in Cassius. Britt said she had seen it too. "I think it would do James and me some good if we could clear Cassius' name," Liesl said, leading Britt to recall her conversation with Anna.
"I'm working on that, Mom. I think I found a way to get answers about Cassius," Britt said. Liesl wanted to know who was helping Britt, but she refused to say. "If I'm not careful, the information won't materialize," she said.
In the elevator, Anna struggled to catch her breath through her panic attack. Valentin talked her through it and promised her that he would be there. They made it to the Metro Court Gardens, where Anna tried not to be seen by Liesl and Britt. But Liesl did see them and decided to force answers out of Anna. Britt stopped her before she could get too far.
Britt explained that she needed to get information her way. Liesl realized that Britt was using the WSB to get answers and warned her not to be beholden to them. "You cannot under any circumstances put yourself in their debt," Liesl warned. Liesl then asked about Jason with a smile. When Britt wasn't forthcoming, Liesl texted him to meet them there.
Peter Problems

At their table, Anna downed some vodka and said she felt better. Anna told Valentin that when Carly had mentioned the WSB, she was right back in that room in the basement on Wyndemere. Logically, she knew that Faison was dead, but when she was locked in Wyndemere, she was sure he was alive and wanted him to come just to get it over with.
"I haven't had any peace in my life since the first day I met that monster all those years ago," Anna cried. Valentin once again assured Anna that Faison was dead. Anna was still sure that Faison was a danger. "I'm not safe. And more importantly, the people that I love are not safe either," Anna said.
Valentin knew Anna was experiencing PTSD and wondered if she'd returned to work too soon. Anna insisted she had to appear normal because she was sure the WSB was monitoring her. She couldn't have anyone questioning her mental state. She insisted this was the first incident like this, so Valentin did not have to worry.
Lulu the Dating Coach

Ric also turned up at the Metro Court Gardens with Lulu so he could ask for advice. He went to apologize but saw Elizabeth with a patient, so he didn't. Lulu thought that gave Ric more time to calm down and apologize correctly. Lulu also advised that Ric not come on too strong or Elizabeth might run in the opposite direction.
Lulu asked if Ric really thought marriage was the natural next step with Elizabeth or was he proposing so he wouldn't lose her. Ric thought it may have been a combination of both. "We've almost got everything we've ever wanted and I can't shake this feeling that I'm going to blow it up," Ric admitted.
Lulu got Ric to call Elizabeth, who was pleased to hear from him. He invited her to Sonny's family barbecue and was shocked when he accepted. She even asked him to see an exhibit with her at the Chuck. "I just scored two dates with Elizabeth. Not one but two. I couldn't have done this without your help," Ric excitedly told Lulu.
Josslyn's Mission

At the pool, Jason assured Carly that Josslyn was resilient and had a good head on her shoulders. "I am trying so hard to let go of this instinct to control the entire situation," Carly said. "I see Anna and all of that goes out the window. I see everything she's faced and everything she's sacrificed."
Carly said that Anna thought she was going to change the world just like Josslyn. "Maybe she did," Jason said, but that didn't make Carly feel any better. So, Jason told Carly that Josslyn had something Anna didn't have — a mother right there by her side.
Once Carly was calm, Jason asked if she had made any moves to get Josslyn out of the WSB. Carly didn't see anything wrong with talking to Hudson and helping nudge Josslyn over to the JJE side.
Later, after Jason left to see Britt, Valentin returned and apologized for leaving her for too long. He was pleased that Carly understood that Anna needed a friend.
Outside the Q boathouse, Hudson was surprised to hear that Josslyn would take the JJE CEO job. Josslyn told him that things change. She didn't want the position before and she'd take it now. Hudson was still perplexed. "This isn't a game, right?" Hudson asked. "You don't plan to run JJE into the ground just to spite your father?"
Josslyn assured Hudson that she'd never intentionally hurt the people working for her father's company. Hudson still wanted to know what changed Josslyn's mind. Josslyn laid it on thick, claiming she'd only turned the job down to prove she could build a legacy of her own, but realized that was wrong now. She was going to trust her father's judgment.
Josslyn said she understood that the shareholders might be wary of her, but they'd get to know her and see that she could do the job. "Failing my father or myself is not an option," Josslyn said. After Josslyn walked away, Hudson made a call and said he'd get Joss to change her mind. She wasn't supposed to accept the job.
Roomies

Lucas was surprised at how much stuff Joe had, but at least there was furniture in his new place. Lulu was also surprised when she stopped by and saw that Lucas had a friend. The two men explained the leasing mix-up, which Lulu found to be intriguing. She took off so they could work out whether Joe would be staying, or just his things.
They finally decided that Joe would stay too and found it to be the perfect arrangement. Lucas even ordered Chinese and got them beers for their first dinner in their new place.
Is Peter beginning to annoy you? Will Anna and Valentin remain just friends? Sound off in the comments.
