Number 16 for Sonny

Sonny found Elizabeth at the nurses' station. She congratulated him for his chance to become the 16th member of the GH board (on its 16,000th episode).

In an office, Tracy and Laura prepared for the hospital board meeting, with Tracy telling Laura that she was trapped with Willow the last time she was in that office. She was not happy to hear that Laura wanted Sonny to sit on the hospital board. Tracy announced that it wasn't going to happen just as Sonny appeared behind her.

Laura quickly went to bat for Sonny, pointing out his philanthropic endeavors and the fact that he was the one who just put Jenz Sidwell behind bars. Tracy didn't care. She was not going to change her mind. "He killed Alan and Monica's son," she said, as a reason why he should never have a say in what happened at GH.

Sonny seemed to understand Tracy's point of view and told Laura that GH needed to have a unified board. He acknowledged that he couldn't provide that and walked away. Elizabeth found him by the elevators and brought him back. She went to bat for Sonny and amazingly, Tracy gave in.

Teen Troubles

Charlotte met with Gio and Emma at the Metro Court pool, but Rocco did his best to avoid his brother. Gio approached Rocoo instead, who chastised him for ratting him out to Dante before he skipped town. When Danny showed up, things got more complicated for Rocco.

Gio told Rocco that he knew why he was angry, but he had already stood by twice when he was in trouble and wasn't going to do that again. Rocco remained angry, but Gio wasn't done. He was his older brother and would help him if he needed it, whether he liked it or not.

After Gio walked off, Rocco watched as Danny tried to leave and Charlotte tried to get him to stay. Danny didn't care. In his mind, Rocco did the wrong thing and he did the right thing by going to Jack. "I'm never going to apologize for trying to save my dad," he said.

When Rocco approached them, Danny became sarcastic, so Rocco became sarcastic back. Charlotte tried to get the brothers to be nice to one another, but they weren't ready.

Carly's Competition

Jack ran into Carly after leaving Josslyn's room and told her that Joss was sleeping, so maybe Carly should let her rest. Carly took offense to being told how to handle her own daughter. Carly was also not happy as Jack insisted that Josslyn was an excellent agent who had found her calling.

Jack said he was sorry that Carly's fears drove her to get involved with Valentin "because that is always a mistake." He urged her not to get involved with Valentin just to spite him, but Carly claimed her relationship had nothing to do with him. She even told him that his version of Valentin was much different than the new version that she knew.

Jack got in one parting shot when he reminded Carly that Valentin will do anything for Anna, who was now back in Port Charles.

A Vanna Reunion

Anna welcomed Valentin into her apartment after he told her that he was a free man and the WSB wouldn't show up any time soon. He noted her short new hairdo, so she explained that the clinic wouldn't let her use a comb, so she told them to chop it all off.

The old lovers spoke about what had happened to Anna while she was in France, but Anna tried to avoid the topic. She asked what he was thinking when he nearly killed Carly with polonium last year. "Let's just say she forgave me," Valentin said. "If she hadn't forgiven me, she wouldn't have hidden me in her attic for the last seven months and 16 days."

Valentin regaled the story of jumping out of a plane, hoping to find her to help him, but was told she was on WSB assignment. But instead, she was held prisoner at Wyndemere. Anna wanted to know how he knew that.

Anna took the illustration Liesl had made out of her drawer as Valentin explained that Josslyn told him about the message on the wall. She now knew that she wasn't imagining being in that room, but she did imagine Peter as she looked at Valentin. "See Anna? You were right all along," he said.

Finally, Anna wanted to know how Valentin was walking around a free man, so Valentin explained what happened with Z, pointing out that Cullum was the bad guy. The two old lovers embraced until Valentin finally said, "See ya around," and left. Once alone, Anna saw Peter again. He told her not to let Valentin distract her.

16 Hours In the Air

On an airplane, we saw a man with an Australian accent looking at page 16 of a travel guide to Port Charles. Next to him was Jason, looking like he'd just been through a war. He told the flight attendant he was good and "Soon, I'll have everything that I need."

Jason thought back to listening to Danny screaming as the WSB hauled him away. He also recalled arriving at the WSB black site and being thrown in a cell. Jason looked noticeably thinner than when he first arrived. His hair was also shorter. While he tried to sleep, Jason had nightmares of being tortured while in prison, as well as his release. He woke with a start as the plane began its descent into Port Charles. Luggage would be at Carousel 16.

The man next to Jason told him that when they arrived, there would be a car waiting for him. He said he'd get Jason home and he did. He shook Jason's hand and told him to enjoy the rest of his life.

The man appeared at General Hospital and introduced himself to Elizabeth as the new surgeon on staff. As for Jason, he headed straight to the Q boathouse, where Danny saw his dad and ran into his arms, so father and son could embrace.

Brook Lynn and Chase Are Fine...For Now

In the Q solarium, Chase told Brook Lynn that she mattered to him more than Willow. Brook Lynn argued that Chase's actions said otherwise. She pointed out that Chase races off to save Willow whenever he needs her.

"If Willow called you right now during this conversation and told you she was in trouble, would you go to her?" Brook Lynn asked. Like the dummy he is, Chase told her yes. But he insisted that his answer wasn't a reflection of how he felt about her. Brook Lynn begged to differ. She felt like her husband was slipping away.

Chase argued that Willow doesn't have a big family and never did, so her life situation was different. Brook Lynn reminded him that she had a whole family when she was married to Michael and gave it up. She felt that she had done something to make Chase see her differently and wondered if the Gio revelation had changed things.

Chase admitted that he was disappointed when she put the adoption plans on hold, so Brook Lynn asked if she'd pushed him toward Willow because he thought she was choosing Gio over him. Chase claimed he was glad the adoption plans were delayed because now they had Phoebe. And he had only helped Willow because she was in trouble.

Surprisingly, Chase said that he had never considered how helping Willow would affect their marriage. He told Brook Lynn she was his everything and he was sorry he had taken her for granted. "You and Phoebe come first," he promised. Brook Lynn wanted to tell Willow the truth, but Chase felt they should keep it quiet.

Are you glad to see Jason home? Should Tracy have allowed Sonny to be on the hospital board? Let us know what you think in the comments.
