On the Wednesday, July 29, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Port Charles was stunned by Drew's miraculous recovery, as he made the rounds and the Quartermaines got the news.
Gio Stuns All

Jason, sporting a black button-down, reunited with the Qs in Tracy's living room. Olivia was ready to make a big Brooklyn Italian dinner to celebrate. Sadly, Ned already had bad news because there was damage to the speedboat. Danny walked in and Tracy knew who the culprit had to be.
Danny admitted her had taken the boat out and may have grazed a sandbar. Ned pointed out that he did more than "graze." Jason ordered that Danny pay for the repairs with his pay from the Metro Court pool. Just then Gio came in, saying having Danny back at the pool would liven the place up. "Although after the whole Drew thing, I've had enough excitement," Gio said.
Ned asked what had happened with Drew, so Gio told his shocked family about the incident at the boathouse the night before. Tracy asked if Drew was dead, but was disappointed to learn that Gio had saved him. They asked if Drew was at GH, but nope. "That's the craziest part. The guy is walking and talking. It's like he's...good as new," Gio shrugged.
Michael immediately took off, while Jason wanted to know how Drew ended up in the water. Gio had no idea, but Tracy was just glad she didn't have to have him on her property anymore. She only allowed him there for Scout's sake because he was in a wheelchair.
Gio tried to be the good guy, suggesting Tracy give him a second chance. "Maybe being locked in has changed the guy," he said. The Qs did not agree with this assessment. Tracy was pleased that Jason agreed with her. "I say keep him away. If only to keep the family peace," he said. Tracy pointed out that Drew tried to steal the house last year.
Gio tried to stress that Drew was technically family, but the Qs didn't want to hear it. Tracy finally asked a pensive Danny what he thought. "Maybe it makes me a bad Quartermaine, but I don't think you should ban Drew," Danny said. Tracy couldn't imagine why Danny felt this way, so he explained that he didn't feel right coming between Scout and her dad.
Jason stepped in and asked Tracy to reconsider so he would have a leg to stand on when he went for bat for Danny and Scout with Drew. Finally, Tracy relented for Scout's sake only.
A Medical Miracle

At GH, Felicia lamented Maxie's move to Australia to Elizabeth. Felicia then brought up Drew's communications device, just as Drew walked into the hospital. Both women were stunned when they looked at him. Drew explained that he had finally realized he could talk and stand, so he did.
Felicia took Drew to neurology to see what was really going on with him, leaving Elizabeth behind with Marty. "All I know is I woke up this morning to the sound of his voice on my phone," Marty said. Marty rushed to Drew's house to give him a ride to the hospital, but Liz just wanted to know where Willow was.
Marty said she wasn't there, so Elizabeth wondered if she even knew Drew was recovered. "Oh, she knows what's going on. According to Drew, they had quite the reunion," Marty told a perplexed Elizabeth.
In the elevator, Drew thanked Felicia for all the help she and other hospital staff members had given him. Felicia said it was nothing compared to what Willow had done. "Yes, I am very aware of everything Willow has done. Now I just have to find the best way to thank her," Drew said with a smile.
Drew got off the elevator and hobbled over to Marty with his cane. They had another stop to make. After they left, Felicia and Elizabeth once again marveled at Drew's recovery. "Drew just made this miraculous recovery. Where's his wife?" Liz asked.
Elizabeth called Willow for the scoop, but only learned she was in her office calling divorce lawyers. This just confused Felicia and Elizabeth more. Felicia suggested they let the matter go, but Elizabeth wasn't about to.
Willow Needs a Lawyer

At Alexis' place, she and Molly discussed postponing her book launch party just as the doorbell rang. Alexis reminded Molly that she had to send Sidwell to jail, so the guilty can be brought to justice. She then opened the door to find Willow standing there.
Willow wanted to hire Alexis to be her divorce lawyer. "You're divorcing your invalid husband," Alexis noted. Molly worried about the optics. "That won't be a problem. As of last night, Drew is no longer locked in," Willow declared. Willow gave a quick and vague explanation for Drew's recovery and said that once they could speak to one another, they realized a divorce was in order.
Alexis told Willow she couldn't be her lawyer, leaving Willow confused. Alexis reminded Willow that she had only represented her in the past because Drew hired her and she'd have access to Scout. She wasn't about to alienate Drew now that he could decide who Scout could see. Willow was a bit taken aback, seemingly realizing that her life might not go as she had hoped now that Drew was back.
After Willow left, the women discussed the matter, with Alexis admitting she didn't trust either one of them, but she'd still rather deal with Willow.
Drew is Drew

Drew proved to Alexis that her preferences were on the money when he showed up and demanded to see Scout. He had Marty there as backup because he was taking Scout home.
Marty regretfully informed Alexis that the restraining order was still in effect. Drew declared he was never letting Alexis anywhere near Scout again. Alexis wasn't about to take that lying down and even suggested that someone would likely come along and take a shot at Drew again soon.
Just then, Scout walked in and was stunned to see her father standing there. She ran into his arms as he told her, "I want you to know that we're never going to be separated ever again," Drew said.
All For Willow...and Nina

Nina arrived at Jack's office, relieved he was willing to see her since she nearly made him an accessory to murder the night before. "I pushed a paralyzed man into a lake. The fact that I did that. What does that say about me?" she asked. "It says there's nothing you wouldn't do for your daughter," Jack replied.
Nina swore up and down that pushing Drew was an impulse and not premeditated. Nina admitted if Drew hadn't spoken, she wouldn't have done it. Jack noted that she was provoked, but Nina reminded him that Drew provokes everyone.
Jack asked Nina not to be so hard on herself. He took some blame for what happened because if he hadn't given up on finding his black box, Nina never would have snapped. Plus, he was the one who had suggested she kill Drew. Nina still took complete ownership of what she had done. She also thanked Jack for helping her, despite what she had told him.
She asked why Jack was helping her so much. "I suppose I'm helping you because of Willow," Jack said. After all, as a congresswoman, she has been a good friend to the WSB. At least that is what he told his bosses. Personally, he was grateful to Nina for saving his life at Turning Wood. He then asked Nina out on a date.
Custody Time Again

At her office, Willow was on the phone with a divorce attorney when Michael walked in. He told her he was tearing up their custody agreement because he wouldn't allow their kids to be around Drew. Willow informed him that wouldn't be a problem because she was divorcing Drew.
In fact, Willow wanted to adjust the terms of their agreement. With Drew out of the picture, she wanted 50/50 custody. Michael refused and told her to take it to court. Willow said she just might. All the judge will see is a selfless congresswoman, while she will see a rich kid with a mobster father and a hooker girlfriend when she looked at Michael.
Michael took her up on the dare. "I'd love to have Drew deposed to explain why he was so willing to walk away from your marriage," he said.
The Kai and Trina Thread

A nervous Trina found Kai at the Metro Court pool, where she immediately dropped her bag. Kai could tell something was up, so Trina told him all about Drew's recovery. Kai was stunned about this whole turn of events and wondered if Willow was the one who tried to drown him.
They tried to piece together what might have happened. "If she did push him in, why wouldn't Drew go straight to the police?" Kai wondered. Trina theorized that Drew might blackmail her just as he had done to her parents last year. Trina was just glad they didn't have to protect Drew from Willow anymore. She wanted to put it all behind them.
Kai wasn't ready to do that. "There are two innocent kids stuck with those two terrible people. Because we know what we know, we have to be the ones to protect them," Kai said. Trina suggested just telling Michael what they knew so he could get full custody of his kids.
Ava's Off-Screen Night With Ethan

Ava woke to snoring in her bed. When she turned around, Ethan was next to her, indicating that Ava and Ethan had off-screen sex. When he woke, she told him to get checked for sleep apnea. Apparently, he already sleeps with a CPAP, but thought it would be a mood killer.
Ethan tried ordering them breakfast, but Ava seemed skittish. Ethan wondered why she was trying to get away from him so fast. Ava admitted that Ethan confused her. He took a bullet for her, but he was also always looking for an angle he could take advantage of. Ethan accused Ava of being just like him.
"That's why I'm trying to figure out what it is you have to gain by sleeping with me," she said. Ethan claimed he just found her to be attractive and he wanted to be with her. Ava remained skeptical.
Who will finally bring down Willow? Should Drew go back to blinking? Sound off in the comments.
