On the Friday, July 31, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Jason Quartermorgan took another step back to 1995, Anna got an eyeful, Ethan skipped town, and Drew was a menace, as always.

WSB Ties

At GH, Jason was alarmed and confused when he saw Britt consulting with Tristan. He asked Britt what she knew about the doctor she had just been speaking with. Britt thought he was just a heart surgeon, but Jason informed her that he had WSB ties.

Britt immediately grew alarmed and was sure that Tristan was in Port Charles to keep an eye on her. "It doesn't matter what I do. I am going to pay for being Faison's daughter for the rest of my life," she said.

After Britt calmed down, Jason asked Britt out on a date, but she had to turn him down due to the softball game. Britt invited Jason to the game, but Sonny summoned him first and Jason obeyed. Later, Britt confronted Tristan, who told her had worked at a WSB medical facility, but he wasn't an agent.

Peter Makes Demands

In her apartment, Anna shouted at Hallucination Peter that she wasn't a murderer, so no, she would not kill Britt. "You and I both know that your family will never be safe as long as a single Faison is left alive, Anna," Peter said. Anna argued that Britt was not out to get her. She believed Jason that Britt had nothing to do with her kidnapping.

Peter insisted that Jason was just protecting Britt. Anna decided that she needed to see Valentin, but Peter tried to stop her. Anna insisted that Valentin would help her because he understood her. Just then, Emma arrived home so Hallucination Peter disappeared.

Emma and Anna made some small talk about seeing Maxie and her family off, which gave Anna an opening to bring up Cassius and point out how many people he had deceived. Emma brought up Josslyn being in the WSB and said she had wished Anna had told her. However, she understood that Anna was bound by WSB secrecy.

Anna assured Emma that she was done with the WSB for good. She even planned to talk to someone who could help ensure that the WSB left her alone.

Pool Time With Drew

At the pool, Ethan looked alarmed when he saw a mysterious newcomer asking for a towel. Brook Lynn and Danny were alarmed when Drew hobbled in on his cane, wanting a swim. Ava was stunned when she looked up. Drew and Ava made some small talk until he asked if she happened to be meeting Nina there.

Drew sat down, but Ava informed him that he would have to move when Ethan returned. Drew wasn't sure who she was talking about, so she said his last name, which piqued the curiosity of the new mystery man standing behind her. Drew still wanted to talk about Nina.

"Were you in on it? Exactly how much do you know about what Willow and Nina did?" Drew asked a perplexed Ava. It was clear Ava didn't know much when she praised how well Nina and Willow took care of him. Ava was shocked when Drew mentioned the divorce. "My long illness showed me that my marriage to Willow wasn't exactly what I thought it was," Drew said.

Ava mused aloud that things often weren't what they appeared to be, as she wondered where Ethan was. After she left, Drew relaxed on a lounge until Danny accidentally spilled drinks on him. "This right here is why I can't trust you with Scout because you're not aware of your surroundings," Drew shouted.

Brook Lynn came to Danny's defense, asking Drew to calm down. That just set Drew off even more. When Danny walked away, Brook Lynn laid into Drew, but also informed him he was allowed on the property for Scout's sake. Still, he was not welcome as a family member.

Drew had some news for Brook Lynn. He could hear everything that had gone on with Willow over the last six months and warned Brook Lynn that Willow wanted Chase back. "From personal experience, she will stop at nothing to get what she wants," Drew said.

Bye Ethan

Lulu was surprised when Ethan ran down the stairs with his bags packed, telling her that he was leaving for good. "You can't leave. You work for Sonny now. People don't up and quit on Sonny Corinthos," Lulu said. (Wanna bet?) Ethan insisted that he still had to go because he was keeping a promise.

Lulu then took a phone call from the mystery man at the pool pretending to be a delivery man. She told him that Ethan had left the country.

Surprise, Anna

Carly arrived at the Metro Court Gardens to question all of Valentin's recent room charges. He already had a lovely lunch set up for them and told Carly that his assets had been unfrozen. He was a wealthy man again and wanted to give Carly what she deserved.

He planned to buy Carly something extremely expensive and keep his promise to Charlotte to buy Wyndemere. Carly reiterated that she had no intention of sleeping there, so he'd just have to come to her. Valentin was also curious about the black box and why both Nina and Jack had wanted it so badly.

When Carly and Valentin leaned in for a kiss, Anna appeared and spotted them. Needless to say, she was shocked by what she saw.

A HUGE Surprise for Sonny

Ric popped into Sonny's place dressed in softball game spectator attire. Ric gave Sonny an update on Sidwell's trials. As soon as she was found guilty, his assets would be auctioned. Sonny was especially interested in Wyndemere and his piers. Sonny claimed to buy back his piers and expand his business, which meant that his retirement plans were likely on hold.

When Jason arrived, Sonny did his best to make sure that Ric and Jason would get along. After all, Ric had proven himself and there was room in Sonny's business life for both of them. Ric offered his hand, so Jason shook it.

After Ric left, Jason told Sonny there would never be peace between him and Ric, but he had other news to share. He quit. Yep. Jason is leaving the mob. (Someone tell Alan and Monica.)

The Ball Fields

Port Charles prepared for the big softball games, with Lucas worried about his predicted poor game performance. They discussed finding Lucas a place to live. He admitted that he liked having Ava around and didn't want to be alone. Just then, a ball landed by their feet and Joe came looking for it. When Dante came along, Liz noted that she couldn't catch a fly ball, so he offered to teach her.

"So, how long have those two been together?" Joe asked Lucas after Liz and Dante walked off. Lucas literally spit out his drink. He told Joe that Elizabeth and Dante were just friends, so Joe noted that they seemed quite friendly. Lucas explained that Liz was with someone else, "but now that I think about it, maybe you've noticed something the rest of us have missed."

Lucas hoped that Joe was right because he preferred Dante for Elizabeth over Ric. Lucas also learned that Joe was looking for an apartment.

As for Dante and Liz, they once again got their flirt on, but Elizabeth didn't seem to notice. They spoke about their kids, Danny and Rocco's new animosity, and how Dante was throwing himself into softball to forget it all. Ric came along right when Dante was showing Liz how to catch a ball and didn't like what he saw.

Is it time (after 30 years) for Jason to leave the mob? Is Drew already getting on your nerves? Sound off in the comments.
