On the Thursday, July 31, 2026, episode of General Hospital, the Peter voice in Anna's head had a lot to say, Lucy welcomed her daughter home, and news of the Cains' divorce spread.

Peter Has All the Answers

Anna sat around her apartment going over files and listening to the Peter voice in her head telling her that Cassius and Britt are the ones responsible for her ordeal. "They're Faison's through and through, and like their father, they're never going to stop coming for you," he said.

When Anna heard a knock on the door, Peter vanished. Anna opened the door to her old pal Jason. The two made some small talk and caught up on the basics of life until Anna brought up Jason's incarceration. "It seems like we've both been through a lot," Jason said.

Jason described his ordeal to Anna and explained how he didn't go insane while in isolation. He just focused on timelines and different points in his life. "I guess it helped me hold onto my sanity," Jason said. "Lucky you. I certainly didn't," Anna replied.

Jason apologized to Anna for not looking into her disappearance on her own. He was the one who had assured her that she was imagining things about Faison. Anna told Jason that she truly thought she had seen Faison when she was at Wyndemere. "The things he said about me. That could only be recreated by someone who knew him. Like his offspring," Anna accused.

Jason stressed that Cassius helped protect Josslyn, so that meant something. But he could vouch for Britt. He didn't think she had anything to do with what had happened to Anna. "Maybe Cassius was involved. I can't say, but I know Britt wasn't," Jason insisted, claiming Britt was a victim.

When Anna was alone again, Peter continued trying to convince her that Britt had to have been behind her kidnapping. She had spent so much time with Faison when they were on the run. "Cassius is dead, but the only way to end this cycle for sure is if Britt meets the same fate," Peter said. "Britt Westbourne must die."

WSB Problems

At GH, Britt overheard Isaiah telling Dr. Tristan Roberts that he would be gone for a week, so she asked him if he was going on vacation. Isaiah replied that he would be in court with Curtis. Isaiah explained what was going on with his court case. Britt thought Curtis was a fool not to take the plea. "And now Portia has to suffer on the witness stand," Isaiah said.

Britt asked how Isaiah was doing, so he admitted that the entire situation made him sick. He hated walking on eggshells around Curtis and planned to beat him in court. Britt offered some advice: "If you come off this aggressively in court, Curtis is going to walk."

Jack soon appeared to interrupt their conversation. Britt nearly lost it and asked Jack to stop bothering her on WSB business. However, Jack wasn't there to see Britt. He let himself into an exam room and waited for Tristan, who was not at all happy to see him. He asked that the WSB leave him alone, but Jack informed him that he didn't have any say in the matter.

Later, when Tristan was consulting with Britt on a case, Jason appeared and looked alarmed when he saw them.

Voices of Reason

At Portia's house, Trina spent time with Curtis and Desmond while Portia slept. Trina was thrilled to answer the door to her grandfather. They proceeded to dote and coo over the baby. Trina updated Marshall on her recording contract, so he recommended she use noise-cancelling headphones when on the road.

When Marshall had some time alone with Curtis, he tried to reason with him about the trial. "Have you thought about reconsidering the plea deal you were offered?" Marshall asked. Curtis had not and would not because he couldn't let Isaiah get away with what he did to them, although Isaiah had done nothing.

Marshall continued to do his best to change Curtis' mind, pointing out that a not-guilty verdict for Curtis didn't mean that Isaiah would be out of Desmond's life. Marshall reminded Curtis that he would always be Desmond's father, but Isaiah might become his grandfather. When Stella dropped in, she also tried to talk sense into Curtis.

Pool Day

Ethan and Ava were enjoying some relaxing time at the Metro Court pool when they spotted Brook Lynn and Chase arrive with Phoebe. Ava was a little taken aback when Ethan even insinuated that they were together. Ethan wanted Ava to know that the night before wasn't just a simple fling.

Ethan claimed her felt a connection to Ava, but she seemed skeptical. The Ethan she met a few months ago didn't want a relationship. Ethan said getting to know her changed all that. The moment that solidified things for him is when he saw how much Ava had cared about Phoebe.

Just as Ethan and Ava were about to kiss, Trina walked in. Ethan went to get a drink, so Trina had some questions she kept to herself.

Brook Lynn met with Michael at a table while Chase relaxed on a lounge with the baby. Michael said he was late because he was with Willow. He filled Brook Lynn in on Drew's recovery and the impending divorce. "That means Willow is free to take a shot at Chase," Michael warned.

Brook Lynn pointed out that Chase had free will. "She will get her claws into Chase over my cold, dead body," she said.

Brook Lynn took the news back to Chase, who was in a state of shock. "Drew is already up and walking around, and unfortunately, he's talking to," Brook Lynn relayed. Chase peplexed. "His first word in months was divorce? That can't be correct," Chase said.

Tea Time

In the Q living room, Tracy and Stella sipped on tea as Tracy lamented Deception business. She hated that Maxie sold her shares to Michael and Brook Lynn gave some of her shares to Lucy. After all, she had only gotten involved with Deception for Brook Lynn's sake. "Torturing Lucy Coe is just a perk," Tracy quipped.

Stella reasoned that the Qs still owned a large chunk of Deception, so she should just be grateful for that. Tracy saw Stella's point, so she moved on to celebrating Stella's hospital promotion and Desmond's birth. That's when Stella mentioned the beef between Curtis and Isaiah.

Tracy asked if Curtis had any proof that Isaiah was the driver who Jordan swerved to miss. Stella said that Curtis thought he did. She just didn't see Isaiah as the type of man Curtis had been describing. Stella also worried that Portia's testimony could put Curtis behind bars. "My instinct is for Curtis to cut his losses and to take the plea deal," Stella said. She worried that Curtis would never admit that he made a mistake by assaulting Isaiah.

After Stella left, Michael arrived home and told Tracy about Drew and Willow's divorce. All Tracy could do was laugh because she won a bet with Yuri on how long the marriage would last. Michael warned Tracy that Willow would now make a beeline for Chase.

Tracy wasn't worried. Brook Lynn and Chase were about to finalize the adoption, so whatever Willow had planned wouldn't work. Michael wasn't so sure.

Welcome Home

Felicia met with Lucy at the Metro Court Gardens. Lucy asked how Maxie was, so Felicia gave her an update. Lucy was still angry that Maxie had sold her shares, so she had wanted a negative report rather than a positive one. Lucy grew serious and acknowledged it must be hard for Felicia to be away from Maxie and her grandkids.

Lucy felt bad that Felicia had to say goodbye to her daughter when something she had dreamed of for so long was finally coming true. Just then, Lucy's daughter, Serena Baldwin, appeared. Serena told Felicia that she was still busy trying to save the whales, but Lucy had called and asked her to visit, so she obliged.

The three women sat down to talk and we even got a Scotty Baldwin update. He vanished without a trace in 2024, but Serena informed Felicia and Lucy that Scotty was living his best life in Key West. Serena also couldn't wait to meet her brother, Cody.

After Felicia left, Serena dropped a bomb on Lucy. She had lost her entire trust fund. Lucy tried to be supportive, so Serena asked her what she was really doing in Port Charles. Lucy explained that she needed someone on her side at Deception now that Maxie had sold her shares to Michael. "I'm going to take back my company. And you, my beautiful daughter, are going to help me," Lucy said.

Does Scotty need to return from Key West? Is Hallucination Peter correct about Britt? Sound off in the comments.
