General Hospital episodes this week showed Sidwell getting caught, only for the bad guy to escape the law. Josslyn found herself in even greater danger beneath Wyndemere, and Willow's war with the Quartermaines somehow managed to get uglier. Plenty more went down in Port Charles!
Kristina made a life-changing decision, Brook Lynn's adoption plans hit another obstacle, and more than one person started playing a very dangerous game.
The week also featured a few surprises. Some were welcome, like Kristina finding a new purpose. Others were considerably less welcome, like Tracy and Willow escalating their feud. By Friday, arrests were made, schemes were underway, and one very familiar face was rummaging through PCPD evidence files.
What happened on GH

Kristina made a life-changing decision, Brook Lynn's adoption plans hit another obstacle, and more than one person started playing a very dangerous game.
The week also featured a few surprises. Some were welcome, like Kristina finding a new purpose. Others were considerably less welcome, like Tracy and Willow escalating their feud. By Friday, arrests were made, schemes were underway, and one very familiar face was rummaging through PCPD evidence files.
The week opened with fallout from Marco's murder and the increasingly complicated situation involving Sidwell and Lucas. Lucas continued struggling with grief while trying to make sense of everything that happened. At the same time, the people around him became increasingly convinced that Sidwell was at the center of far more trouble than anyone realized.
Elsewhere, Josslyn's situation beneath Wyndemere grew more dangerous by the day. Trapped with Liesl and increasingly dependent on Cassius for survival, she found herself caught in the middle of a battle over Britt's cold fusion research. While Liesl wrestled with impossible choices involving her son, Joss remained determined to keep the project out of the wrong hands.
The situation took a darker turn when Sidwell disappeared, and Cullum effectively took control. His priorities became clear almost immediately. Finishing the prototype mattered. Eliminating obstacles mattered. And unfortunately for Joss, she qualified as both.
Jack Brennan stopped Willow from injecting him with the drug that paralyzed him. Jack claimed to have evidence that Drew misappropriated funds from the McConkey Esplanade to finance his political campaign. While Jack had yet to hand over the proof, the information gave Willow something she had lacked for months: leverage against her husband. Willow agreed to stop injecting Jack with the paralytic and team up with him and Nina to neutralize Drew after eventually releasing him from captivity.
Friends, family, and fresh starts

Kristina surprised Sonny and Alexis by announcing she was heading to medical school in California. After spending months rebuilding her life following the unimaginable loss of her surrogate baby, she revealed she had discovered a genuine passion for helping people while studying for the MCATs and planned to pursue it seriously.
The news hit her family hard. Sonny and Alexis were proud, even if they struggled with the realization that their daughter was moving across the country. Kristina made it clear this decision belonged to her and nobody else.
By Friday, Kristina was saying her goodbyes to Molly and Michael. In true Kristina fashion, she also appointed herself a relationship counselor before boarding the plane. She insisted that Michael and Molly lean on each other while she was gone, arguing that both needed someone who understood what they were going through, whether or not either of them wanted that arrangement.
Meanwhile, Cody and Molly continued growing closer. A simple evening spent with James eventually turned into something special. They explained to James that Cody couldn't attend his first baseball game because he would be supporting Molly on her book tour, and that supporting a loved one's passions can make you happy as well.
Baby, maybe

Alexis repeatedly urged Nathan to reconsider hiding his identity from Phoebe forever. She pointed to the pain caused by long-buried family secrets and argued that children deserve to know where they come from. Ethan wasn't persuaded. Instead, he delivered an ultimatum. Either the adoption remained permanently closed, or he would refuse to cooperate altogether.
Ethan genuinely believed Phoebe would be surrounded by love and wouldn't need him in her life. Still, Alexis struggled with the idea that the child would never know she belonged to Luke Spencer's family or learn about her mother, Delilah. Ethan agreed that Phoebe should know about her mother.
Friday ended with Ethan secretly breaking into PCPD cold-case storage and removing something from an evidence file.
Ava finally sees what everyone else saw

Ava finally admitted something that she probably hated saying: Carly was right. After spending months convincing herself that Sidwell wasn't as dangerous as everyone claimed, Ava finally acknowledged she had ignored every warning sign in sight. The villain's shooting of Lucas was the wake-up call she needed. Over drinks with Nina, Ava admitted that she knew exactly what kind of man Sidwell was and pursued him anyway. Then she threw out the fact that Carly had been warning her till she was blue in the face.
Nina wasn't interested in celebrating the breakthrough, though. Her concern was much more practical. Sidwell was desperate, cornered, and running out of options.
Willow clashed with Tracy

Willow arrived at the Quartermaine boathouse after receiving a text message supposedly from Wiley saying that he and Chase were fishing at the mansion. Unfortunately for her, the message wasn't from Wiley at all. It was from Tracy.
Tracy accused Willow of pursuing Chase and trying to worm her way into another family while still married to Drew. Willow fired back by questioning Tracy's relationships with her own children. The insults escalated. Neither woman showed the slightest interest in backing down, and Tracy was so furious she grabbed Willow's arm. Then, Chase appeared.
Seconds later, a splash echoed across the property after Willow spied Chase. She went into the water. Chase dove into the pond and helped her out. According to Willow, Tracy pushed her into the water. According to Tracy, Willow saw Chase approaching and threw herself in.
Given Willow's recent history, Tracy wasn't exactly lacking supporters for her version of events. Unfortunately, Chase arrived in time to see only one thing: hearing Willow's screams and then soaking wet and injured after scraping her knee on a rock in the water.
Cassius comes clean

"Nathan" finally revealed the truth to Liesl. Cassius admitted that he wasn't Nathan after all, shattering her hopes that her son had somehow returned to save her. The revelation forced Liesl to grieve Nathan all over again while also processing the fact that she had another son whom she had been told by her late sister, Madeline, had died at birth.
In reality, Faison took Cassius as his own, raising him in secret. Although he seemed distant at first, Cassius made it clear he would protect his mother with his life.
Joss later defended Cassius. While she wasn't excusing his actions by working with the villainous cadre, she insisted his feelings about Nathan's life were genuine. According to Joss, Cassius truly came to appreciate the life his brother built and the people who loved him. It didn't erase the deception, but it gave Liesl a different perspective on the man standing before her. She promised to help with the cold fusion project to help save Cassius' life.
Sidwell's trap backfires

Meanwhile, Sonny, Laura, and Lucas worked together on a risky plan to bring Sidwell down. The operation placed Lucas directly in Sidwell's path, with Lucas wearing a bulletproof vest as part of the setup.
The plan worked, but not without consequences. Sidwell took the bait and shot Lucas, believing that he had killed him. Instead, the shooting provided authorities with exactly what they needed to move in and make an arrest. Unfortunately, the victory was short-lived.
Before long, Cassius stepped in and helped Sidwell escape custody, putting the dangerous fugitive back on the streets. Meanwhile, Carly also made a significant discovery this week while searching for answers about Josslyn's disappearance. During questioning at Wyndemere, a maid showed Cullum a ring that she found while cleaning. Carly recognized it immediately recognized it as Joss'. The discovery confirmed Carly's worst fears. Carly picked up a letter opener and appeared to be ready to attack Cullum with it, but a security guard entered the room, prompting her to rethink her plan.
Later, she rushed home and told Valentin that the ring proved Joss was being held at Wyndemere. Although the property was crawling with WSB agents, Carly became more determined than ever to find a way to rescue her daughter. She asked Valentin to help her.
Cullum turns his attention to Joss

After Sidwell went on the lam, Cullum wasted no time asserting control over the operation at Wyndemere. His focus remained fixed on completing Britt's cold fusion project, and anyone standing in the way became a problem. That put Joss directly in his crosshairs.
The situation escalated when Cullum confronted Joss and made it clear he intended to eliminate her if she continued interfering. Joss refused to back down, preparing to defend herself despite the overwhelming odds. Before the confrontation could turn deadly, Cassius stepped in and put himself between Cullum and Joss, once again risking everything to protect her. Leisl told Cullum that if he killed her son, she'd be too distraught to work on the project.
The chaos continued

By the week's end, several storylines reached major turning points. Tracy's confrontation with Willow ended with Chase telling Tracy she was under arrest. Brook Lynn began working to build a case against Willow by having Brick change Willow's GPS to show that she was at the exact spot of Curtis and Jordan's accident on that fateful night.
Sonny found himself facing difficult questions from Justine about the operation involving Sidwell, Kristina prepared to leave for California, and Ethan secretly slipped into PCPD evidence storage and removed something from a cold-case file.
At Wyndemere, the danger remained far from over. Joss thanked Cassius for saving her life yet again, while he admitted he didn't want his mother to complete the prototype. Unfortunately, neither of them could see another way forward, leaving everyone trapped in an increasingly impossible situation.
