On the Thursday, October 1, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Michael took a trip into the lake this time, Dante confronted Sonny, Willow pulled some strings, Lulu was on the warpath, and Scout cut Danny out of her life.

Scout vs. Danny

Scout was stunned when Danny suddenly appeared in the Dawn of Drew living room to tell Scout that Charlotte had been sent to boarding school. Scout said she knew because Rocco had told her. "What else did Rocco tell you?" Danny asked. "What else does Rocco need to tell me?" Scout asked.

Danny realized she didn't know about the fight, so he changed the subject. Scout told Danny that she was glad Charlotte was gone. Danny acknowledged that Charlotte had gone too far, but defended her, saying she was just trying to help. Danny finally confessed that he had told Rocco that Charlotte didn't need to be sent away, and things then got out of hand.

Scout was furious at Danny and knew he had thrown the first punch. "When did my brother turn into such a thug?" she asked. Danny pointed out that Rocco fought back, which meant he was not a thug. "Scout, you're my sister. Why can't you for once take my side?" Danny asked. Scout said it was because he hurt people. "You're so reckless, just like your dad," she noted.

Danny made his situation worse by telling Scout that Drew was only going to get what he deserved. A furious Scout told Danny that she was ashamed of him. "Stay away from me. Get out," she shouted.

Rocco's Plight

Rocco tried to sneak out of the house without his mother noticing the shape he was in. His plan didn't work because Lulu stopped him and asked what had happened. Rocco admitted that he and Danny had gotten into a fight about Charlotte.

Lulu decided Danny was the problem. First, Charlotte took such a huge risk and now he'd punched Rocco. Lulu knew she had to do something, so she left Rocco alone. Rocco was lying on the couch in a sullen mood when Scout arrived. "I know my brother is the one who did this to you and that's why I told him I never want to see him again," Scout said.

Tracy's Kitchen

Tracy found Chase in the Q kitchen and remarked that she thought he'd be with his daughter rather than just milling around her house. Chase said he had put her down for a nap. Tracy didn't want to hear what Chase had to say unless he told her that he had finally decided to file for divorce. "This is a charade. If you're going to file for divorce, just go ahead and do it," Tracy said.

Chase claimed he was not ready to do that because he still loved Brook Lynn. So, Tracy had another suggestion. "Then forgive her and move on," she said. Chase insisted that he couldn't due to the lies that she had told. Tracy called Chase a hypocrite and chastised him for wanting Brook Lynn to prove she was worthy of him. "And yet you give that viper Willow the benefit of the doubt," Tracy stated.

Tracy wasn't done: "You say you love your wife, yet you refuse to stand by her when all she was doing was protecting her family...if she had told you the truth, you would have made sure she turned herself in at a crucial point in the adoption, and you wouldn't be happily staring at your phone looking at your sleeping baby, cause someone else would."

Tracy told Chase that he just wanted Brook Lynn to be small and meek, "so you can rescue her like Weeping Willow." Chase said he wasn't married to Willow. This was about him and Brook Lynn.

After Chase was gone, Tracy stood pensive alone in the kitchen until Danny barrled in, apologizing for being late for his chores. She took one look at the cut on his mouth and asked what had happened. "I punched out Rocco and my sister hates me," Danny admitted.

Tracy played the wise aunt and told young Danny that Scout would get over it. Danny wasn't so sure. Tracy also gave Danny a lecture about Rocco. "You know how to fight. Rocco doesn't. You should have walked away whether Rocco deserved it or not," she said.

When Danny left to do his chores, Lulu showed up to complain about Danny. "Someone has to intervene because Danny is out of control," she said.

Brook Lynn Fights Back

Outside the Q boathouse, Michael and Brook Lynn had just gotten in a game of tennis. Brook Lynn admitted she had been distracted, thinking of Chase only moving back into the house to position himself for custody. Brook Lynn thought they should legally separate, but Michael said that would be a mistake.

"I think you need to fight. For Phoebe," Michael said. He then explained that he thought her marriage was over, but she needed to play the long game and angle for custody. "You gotta be smart and shore up your position...Just sit back and wait for Chase to screw up," Michael suggested.

As Michael continued, he revealed the hopes of getting Chase into bed with Willow. Brook Lynn lost it at the thought and lunged at Michael, pushing him into the lake. When an angry Michael emerged from the water, he and Brook Lynn got into a shouting match.

Brook Lynn accused Michael of wanting to destroy her marriage. Michael countered that Chase and Willow were already doing that. Brook Lynn finally realized that Michael moved back into the gatehouse to set Chase up to sleep with Willow. Michael admitted that was true. He said that Brook Lynn would get what she wanted.

"No, I won't. You'll get what you want, which is ammo against Willow, and you're sacrificing my family to get it," Brook Lynn accused. Michael was blunt with Brook Lynn, telling her that her marriage was over. "You are a Quartermaine. We face reality and we act," he said.

Brook Lynn had a counterargument. "I know that my husband has made mistakes, but he does not deserve to be manipulated by you or by Willow," Brook Lynn said. She pointed out all the horrifying things Willow has done over the past two years. Michael thought Chase deserved to find out who Willow really was. Chase came across their argument and asked if his wife was okay.

Willow's Power

At GH, Curtis told Tristan that the hospital accommodations were much better than Pentonville. Tristan broke it to Curtis that he was healing well and there was no reason for him to be there anymore.

When Tristan left Curtis' room, Willow approached him to speak about the inmate patient. Tristan refused to give out medical information, even to members of Congress. Willow pulled the licensed nurse card, but Tristan wouldn't budge. He told her to check Curtis' condition for herself, so Willow did.

She approached Curtis in his room. She wanted to help him because he was a hero who saved Sidwell's life and then took another risk by naming Sonny. Curtis knew that Willow just wanted to go after Sonny because he was Michael's father. Willow didn't confirm or deny. "I can't help you. At least not from a cell in Pentonville," Curtis said.

Curtis asked Willow to get him out of Pentonville and he'd see what he could do for her when it came to Sonny. He asked Willow to get him a full pardon from the governor. "You get me out. And I'll get you Sonny," he said. When Willow left the room, she saw Trina and used her pull so Trina could visit her dad.

Willow then approached Tristan and recommended that he keep Curtis at GH for another three days, as a personal favor to his congresswoman. "All right. I won't discharge him yet. But only because it helps to have a congresswoman in my debt," Tristan said.

Trusting Sonny

Gio dropped by Trina's apartment, where she told him that she couldn't rehearse. Her dad was in the hospital. Trina explained what had happened and told Gio that his grandfather was responsible. Gio refused to believe it and insisted that there had to have been some sort of mistake.

Trina said her father was just collateral damage from an attack on Sidwell. "My grandpa wouldn't do that. Even to Sidwell. He doesn't do that stuff anymore. He's done," Gio said. Trina said that Curtis was positive that Sonny was the one responsible.

Gio finally decided that Trina must be right, but was a bit taken aback when Trina asked him to ask Sonny not to kill her dad.

Sonny opened the door to an angry Dante. Sonny knew he would see his son, who had some questions. "You think I lied about getting out of the business?" Sonny asked. "No, actually I don't," Dante replied. A relieved Sonny threw his arms around Dante. "Thank God you believe me. I can't tell you what that means to me," poor Sonny said.

Dante said he believed that Sonny had meant it when he said he planned to go legit, but he also knew about Sonny's revenge streak. Dante asked Sonny to look him straight in the eye and tell him if he ordered the attack on Sidwell. Sonny told him point-blank, "No."

Sonny was stunned when Dante told him that he didn't believe him. He admitted that Vito and Sully still worked for him, but still insisted he didn't order the attack. Dante still refused to believe him. "After everything we've been through, you still don't respect me enough to tell me the truth," he said.

Sonny refused to stop defending himself and suggested that he was set up. Sonny finally explained that he had sent Vito to Pentonville to ask Sully to keep an eye on Sidwell, not to beat him. Dante still didn't believe him, so Sonny got real. "For God's sake, Dante, if I wanted Sidwell gone, he wouldn't be in that hospital bed. He'd be dead. Ten times over. If I wanted Sidwell dead, I would have shot him at Ava's gallery," Sonny remarked.

Dante thought that was a bad defense. Sonny said he didn't need a defense cause he didn't do it. Dante still refused to believe him, angering Sonny. With Gio listening at the door, Sonny shouted at Dante: "Get out of here. Get out of my house. I don't want a son like you."

Is Dante being obtuse? Is Scout right to be so angry at Danny? Sound off in the comments.
