On the Wednesday, October 14, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Jason began to learn the family business, Tristan set the record straight, Jordan and Michael grew closer, and Portia had a good day.
About Chase...

In the Q kitchen, Brook Lynn was surprised to see Tracy because she thought he'd be at Gio's gig. Tracy revealed that she had a cold and was unable to make it. Brook Lynn was disappointed because she'd wanted a report on Gio. Brook Lynn just wanted to hear something good after her morning with Chase.
Tracy still couldn't believe that he had accused his wife of planting that story about Willow. Tracy was done with Chase and blamed Brook Lynn's marital problems on his behavior. "It breaks my heart to realize how little Chase thinks of me," Brook Lynn said.
Tracy wanted Brook Lynn to go for full custody, but Brook Lynn couldn't bear to talk about it. "I know you saw the end of my marriage coming, Granny, but I didn't," she said. Tracy apologized to Brook Lynn. "I hate to see you in this much pain and calling lawyers always comforted me," Tracy explained. "I also hate that you are wasting your time crying over that man after the way he's treated you."
ELQ Business

Jason found Ned in the solarium and told him he'd taken care of an ELQ crisis. Ned was impressed with the deal Jason made for a new construction schedule. "But you still need to explain how I am first hearing about this now," Ned said. "I'm the head of ELQ. You're answering to me now."
Jason said he understood Ned's need to follow the chain of command. Both men were surprised when Tracy and her coughing interrupted their conversation. When she spotted the burger, Ned lied and said it was Jason's. Tracy bit her tongue and sent Ned to the kitchen to talk to Brook Lynn.
When Tracy was alone with Jason, she ordered him to toss Ned's greasy food when he saw it. She also wanted him to take some of the pressure off Ned at ELQ. Jason explained that he was also in charge of Michael's work, including Deception. Jason even wanted Tracy's advice on how to work for a cosmetics company.
Tracy was willing to give it to him for something in return. Tracy needed Ned's life to be less stressful after his heart attack last year. "Jason, I need your word that you are going to take an active role in ELQ," Tracy said. Jason agreed to take some pressure off Ned.
As for Ned, he found Brook Lynn alone in the kitchen and offered her a listening ear. Brook Lynn told Ned everything that had happened with Chase. "He looked at me like I'm the enemy, Dad," she said. Ned assured his daughter that she wasn't. Brook Lynn admitted that she hadn't decided whether she was going to fight for full custody. She hated that she hadn't seen her father much growing up.
Ned admitted that he had always regretted not fighting Lois for shared custody. "In this divorce, you need to protect yourself, but you also have to look into Phoebe's best interest," he said.
Deception Business

At Cafe Cherie, Lucy and Serena discussed Deception business. Lucy still wanted Serena to get Michael to fall for her. They waited for him to join them for dinner, but Michael called to inform Serena he was on his way to Germany instead. Lucy was up in arms over the news, but Serena didn't think it was a big deal. They'd just reschedule.
When Lucy heard that Michael had put Jason in charge, she was apoplectic. "That man has an emotional range of 1 to 1," she said. "I don't know about that. Jason seemed pretty tender when he checked me for ticks," Serena remarked. She relayed the story of the falcons so that Lucy understood. Lucy had no problem asking Serena to make up a reason to talk to Jason about Deception. Lucy wanted Jason to sign his proxy vote over to Serena.
Travel Companions

On the plane, Jordan thanked Michael for getting her into this German clinic and accompanying her. Michael was happy to do it and had authorized Jason to handle ELQ matters on his behalf. Jordan was worried about her potential procedure, and also worried about Curtis.
The two began to discuss their complicated relationship history. Jordan was convinced that she and Portia would have it out one day, but Michael couldn't understand why. Hadn't she moved on with Isaiah? Jordan explained that Portia blamed Jordan's friendship with Curtis for the end of her marriage. Michael said he thought Willow's feelings for Chase ended his, but Jordan declared that to be a cop out.
As they spoke some more, Michael asked Jordan to stop him if she saw him getting involved with the wrong woman again.
Hospital Happenings

At GH, Portia and Isaiah discussed her first day back at work. Portia couldn't wait to go home and see Dez and wanted to take Isaiah with her. "Dez and I both want you there," Portia said. Isaiah worried that Marshall wouldn't be happy.
Tristan found Britt in the halls and asked her why she was sniffing around his patient, meaning Jenz Sidwell. Britt explained that she'd wanted to see if Sidwell was lucid enough to talk to Lulu. Tristan did not think he was. When Portia and Isaiah happened by, Britt was surprised to hear she was invited to a staff get-together at the Brown Dog.
Joe got off the hospital elevators and immediately ran into Lucas. He had been looking for his roomie because he needed help with the Jack Brennan case. Lucas didn't see how he could be of assistance. Joe started thinking about what Lucas had told Lulu. "That statement, I think, means you know more about Jack Brennan than you realize," Joe said.
Lucas didn't see Lulu's story as evidence. "It's just the words of a convicted criminal recovering from surgery," Lucas said. "I just want to know what happened to Brennan and if Willow was involved," Joe said. Britt overheard Joe and declared that Willow was not involved at all.
Britt quickly went to Willow's defense, claiming Lulu got it all wrong. When Tristan happened along, Britt told him to tell Joe that Sidwell was on too many meds to make sense. "That's not exactly true," Tristan said. "It's possible Sidwell fabricated his entire story or it's possible the pain meds lowered his inhibitions and made him divulge things he wouldn't have if he wasn't medicated."
Lucas then took Joe aside and told him that he felt he was being used for info, the same way that Lulu had used him. Joe said he was "trying to solve the best and worst kind of puzzle." Joe seemed sure that the WSB got it wrong and Jack was still in Port Charles. Lucas warned Joe to be careful when dealing with the WSB. "I need to do my job. My job is to find the truth," Joe said.
Later, when Portia and Isaiah got back to Portia's house, Marshall tried to be welcoming. Portia went to give the baby a bath, so Isaiah asked Marshall to stay for dinner. Marshall was open and honest with Isaiah, telling him that Curtis should be sharing these moments with Dez. However, he knew that Isaiah was a good man and would be good to Portia. They even sealed things with a handshake and a hug.
