On the Monday, October 20, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Trina and Kai shared a romantic evening, Lucas and Valentin handed out advice, Jason got to the truth, and Britt decided to throw caution to the wind.
Someone Believes Sonny

Carly dropped by Sonny's to give Donna her tablet. While she was there, Anna also stopped in. Carly quickly made herself scarce before Anna told Sonny she wanted to check on how he was doing now that Gio had chosen to go. Sonny admitted that he understood why Gio left. "Emma was here and she gave me a piece of her mind," Sonny admitted.
Anna pointed out that Emma has not had to live in the "gray area" yet, so she was young and opinionated. They danced around the subject, but finally discussed Trina and Gio's feelings regarding the Pentonville attack.
"Gio's being a good friend. Trina's being a good daughter. And whether I like it or not, Dante's being a good cop," Sonny said. Sonny explained that he had told Dante that he wasn't behind the attack and Dante hadn't believed him. "Look, I know there are many things that make me look guilty, but I thought my word would be enough," Sonny said.
Anna understood what it was like to not be believed by loved ones. She told Sonny how nobody believed her when she said she had been held captive. "I knew I was right. It was just that for the longest time, I didn't have any proof. And when you don't have any proof, all you can say it=s believe me, because, I'm me," she said. It was clear that Anna believed Sonny.
Lucas' Good Advice

Carly showed up at Lucas' place next. He was half asleep when he opened the door. "Wow, I'm really late. The party's over?" she said, as she surveyed the empty living room. Lucas asked why she wasn't with her boyfriend. "Cause we have our own lives. We don't have to spend every second together," Carly stressed.
Lucas assumed it had to be over already because Anna was back. Carly admitted that Valentin and Anna had a history. "He's going to go to therapy with her," she told Lucas, as if it was no big deal. Lucas wanted to know where the real Carly was.
Carly then showed her growth. "I will never, ever chase another man, Lucas. I had to rebuild my entire life and I did that by myself," she said. "It's an amazing life. The way things ended with Sonny...it was bad...so, if Valentin wants to be with Anna, that is his choice."
Lucas wondered if Carly was being too self-sacrificing and hinted she should fight for someone she loved and not push him into someone else's arms. "What if Valentin only chooses Anna because you let him go so easily? How is that any type of happiness for Valentin?" Lucas asked.
Lucas admitted that he saw something had changed in Carly and realized that was the day Valentin started living in Carly's attic. "I saw you get your groove back and it made me so happy. At the time, I didn't know that was because of Valentin, but I do now," he said.
Valentin's Good Advice

Valentin stopped by Josslyn's apartment to congratulate her on winning the piers. "I can't lie that it was quite fun walking in and seeing the look on everybody's faces," Josslyn said, smiling. "I want to do you a favor and I want to take over those piers for your mother's sake," Valentin said.
Josslyn was not about to give up the piers. "Purchasing those piers was a smart business decision," she said. "I can also see that you hate Sonny and you can use your father's business to destroy him," Valentin said. He warned Josslyn that her plan to hurt Sonny would not work out well.
Josslyn showed her naivete by declaring she would bankrupt Sonny so he'd be forced to leave Port Charles, as if that was going to happen when that was his home and his kids and grandkids were there.
"You think Donna and Avery will forgive you for chasing their father out of Port Charles?" Valentin rightly asked. Josslyn was sure that they eventually will. Valentin then got honest. "Josslyn, Lulu is almost always right about what is best for Charlotte and I am usually wrong. Guess who Charlotte sides with? Your sisters are going to blame you," he said.
Valentin insisted that she needed to end her vendetta against Sonny for Carly's sake. "You don't have to end him," he said. "That's where you're wrong," Josslyn stated. Josslyn regaled all the awful things Sonny had ever done to Carly, but Valentin had already heard it.
As Josslyn exaggerated and inflated her story, Valentin told her, "I think that would be a gross simplification of what happened." He told her that her level of resentment toward Sonny was toxic and consuming her. However, Josslyn was not about to give up. Before Valentin finally left Josslyn, he gave Josslyn this advice: "Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should."
When he walked into the hall, there were flowers outside the door. "These are for Trina," Valentin said, as he handed them to Josslyn. The card read in all caps: "TRINA - CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE'RE FINALLY FACE TO FACE. I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN."
Trina's Scary Romantic Night

Trina felt uneasy in the apartment that was supposed to belong to Quinn's sister. "It kinda seems like your sister is expecting someone, so I think we should just go," she said. "She's not. This is all for you," Quinn responded with a smile before shutting the door.
Quinn scrolled through his phone and looked antsy. "I know this looks weird, but can we just wait here for a few minutes?" Quinn asked. Trina gave him a flat no. "I promise everything will make sense soon," Quinn insisted. Trina still tried to leave, but Quinn stopped her.
Quinn even took her phone so she couldn't call a ride-share. Trina tried to grab the phone with no luck. Just then, Kai walked in with dessert from Eckert's. "Finally, where the hell have you been, man? Your girlfriend's trying to kill me," Quinn said, before admitting that this was not his sister's place.
Kai explained that he had gotten them an Airbnb as a surprise and he was supposed to be waiting when Quinn got her there. "Do I at least score any points for trying to be romantic?" Kai asked. An angry Trina said, "I'll give you one." It turned out Quinn was the one who removed Trina's spark plugs, all at Kai's advice.
Kai and Quinn got a good laugh out of everything and Trina decided to let bygones be bygones. When Quinn left, Trina turned to Kai and asked, "What were you thinking?" Finally, she decided to thank Kai and enjoy the night.
Britt's New Man

At the Brown Dog, Britt's mysterious stranger said he couldn't wait to meet the woman who cleared out the bar before he could blink. "That's me. I can clear a room with the best of them," Britt deadpanned. She mentioned that the people who left weren't exactly her friends. "Who wouldn't want to be friends with you?" the man asked.
Britt asked if he was hitting on her, as they continued to flirt back and forth. Britt immediately made it clear she was looking for nothing serious, no matter what. "That makes two of us," the mysterious stranger said as they toasted. Britt asked the man why he had a problem with love.
He claimed he had been told in the past that he wasn't a good relationship person due to his low attention span and busy life. As they flirted some more, the man got blunt and told Britt that he wanted to spend the night with her. "I'll understand if uncomplicated sex isn't your thing," he added.
He suggested they don't even exchange names before leaving to have sex with the intention of never seeing each other again. Britt suggested they use aliases during their potential night together. Finally, Britt agreed to have a wild night.
Serena's Deception

In the Deception office, Serena did her best to get Jason to sign the document that would hand over Michael's shares, but he insisted on reading the whole thing. As Serena begged him to sign and pointed out how time-sensitive this was, Jason scrolled through the document and told Serena this was her last chance to tell him the truth.
Serena pretended to be surprised when she looked at the document. "Oh my goodness, this form signs away Michael's proxy," she exclaimed, as Jason silently rolled his eyes. He finally spoke. "I need to know how much of this was Lucy and how much of this was you?" Jason asked.
Serena lied and said it was all her idea. "I knew that it was wrong, but I wanted to do something good to show my mom. Deception is everything to her, and your family couldn't care less about it," she said. Jason wanted to know what the plan was if he had signed.
Serena got honest and told Jason that Deception meant the world to her mother, and it was Tracy who took it from her in an underhanded way. Serena knew she was breaking the law, but she was working within the spirit of the law. After all, Jason should understand that he spent years as a hitman who saved people.
Serena finally admitted that this was all Lucy's idea and apologized to Jason for dragging him into this scheme. Jason agreed to keep this from Tracy as long as she didn't ask.
Should Carly just tell Valentin that she loves him already? Sound off in the comments.
