On the Tuesday, October 27, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Agent Baines realized he may have made a little error, Alexis told Sonny some of what he wanted to hear, Lucas laid it on thick, and Danny gave Rocco an ultimatum.
Alexis Stays Neutral

Sonny startled Alexis when he sauntered into her office late at night. She asked if something was wrong with Kristina. "Kristina's fine as far as I know. I'm just sick of waiting for you," he said. "Waiting for you for what?" Alexis asked. So, Sonny answered. "Ever since Curtis accused me of being behind what happened to him and Sidwell, the silence from you is deafening," Sonny said.
Sonny just wanted Alexis to accuse him or ask if he did it. He wanted something, but Alexis didn't want to give. "You're going to be waiting for a long time because I don't want to know," Alexis remarked. She was sick to her stomach at the idea that one of her best friends ended up in the hospital because of Sonny. "Whether it was intentional or collateral damage," she added.
She didn't want to hear his denials, so Sonny was just happy that Alexis was willing to keep an open mind. "I entertain the possibility that you could be innocent," she said. "What I can offer you is my sincere hope that you're innocent. That's the best that you're gonna get." Sonny had to accept that.
Curtis Holds Court

In the hospital halls, Drew tracked down Portia and explained that they had to work together to support him so he could win his appeal. "If Curtis decides to take your help, that's on him, but I will never, ever trust you," Portia said. "I've made mistakes in my life. I earned them and you chose to compound and exploit them. And now you want us to work together? You're out of your damn mind."
Drew apologized for his behavior and pressured Portia to not use her anger to justify not helping Curtis. Drew told Portia about helping Curtis in the press. Eventually, Portia agreed to go on the record with The Banner.
Elsewhere in the hospital, Gio stopped in to see Curtis. "I welcome any and all visitors, especially you," Curtis said. They made some small talk about Trina and their music until Curtis brought up his assumption that Sonny put him in the hospital. "That's actually why I'm here. I know it's a lot to ask...is there any chance at all that you would consider the possibility that my grandfather wasn't behind your assault?" Gio asked.
Gio said he believed Curtis. "I'm just wondering if you heard what someone else wanted you to hear," Gio said. Curtis realized that Gio thought Sonny was framed. Curtis respected Gio for defending his family. "Gio, I can't help you. But I can assure you, I won't tell Trina that you were ever here," Curtis said.
Teenage Angst

At the Q stables, Danny lost his mind when he spotted Rocco and Scout kissing. He ran to his sister and BFF and demanded that Rocco get his hands off Danny's sister. He grabbed Rocco by the shirt, as Scout tried to calm her brother down. "Stop. We aren't doing anything wrong," Scout said, as she gave Danny a cold stare.
"What do you mean, 'we'? You're ok with him kissing you?" Danny exclaimed, telling Scout she was too young to know who she liked. As Danny went on and on, slamming Rocco, his former brother finally shouted for him to shut up.
Scout was also insulted. "I can't believe that you think that about me. That no one can like me unless there's some sort of angle," Scout said. Danny had to backtrack, but it didn't do much good. Suddenly, Scout got a text from Drew and ran.
After Scout left, Danny and Rocco argued some more. "You guys are like a couple now?" Danny asked. "So what if we are?" Rocco replied. Danny then brought up the elephant in the room nobody except the fandom has wanted to mention. "Do you realize how twisted that is? We were practically siblings when my mom was still around," he shouted.
Rocco made a face and said, "I'm not related to Scout. Do not go there. "Close enough," Danny pointed out. Danny then threatened to tell Drew the truth to make himself look good and end things between Rocco and Scout. "Danny, you heard how lonely Scout is. Do you really want to do this just to get back at me?" Rocco asked. "I will stay quiet about what you and Scout have been doing as long as you stop doing it," Danny said.
As for Scout, she ran into the Port Charles Grille and apologized for being late for dinner. Drew could tell something was wrong and acknowledged that this week was the second anniversary of Sam's death. (Soap Central didn't forget. Look for something on Sam this coming Saturday.)
Scout noted that it was hard to forget due to the holiday. "I never realized how early people start putting out their Halloween decorations," Scout said. She sadly no longer loved Halloween. "It all changed in an instant. I remember everything about that night," she said, reminding us that Sam died on Halloween. "Sometimes I think I'm going to snap out of it. Like mom dying was just this horrible nightmare, that I'm gonna just wake up and I remember that she's really gone and she's not coming back," Scout cried.
Dante Holds Court

Baines stopped into Dante's office to discuss Lulu's article and the questions it leaves about Jack's disappearance. Dante made a remark about how the WSB dragged Nina away without due process. "At the time, we weren't aware of a connection between Jack's and Drew Cain's strokes," Baines said.
All Dante could do was laugh. "Wait a second, you guys never even considered it?" Dante asked. He accused the WSB of wanting to end any investigation into Jack's disappearance fast. "That's why you were trying to pin it on Nina Reeves," he said.
Baines implied that the PCPD should absolutely not get involved. "The Bureau is handling this accordingly," he said.
After Baines left, Joe stopped in and mentioned he had been investigating the Brennan situation. "I think there's enough for the department to open its own case, unless that's asking for trouble you know the PCPD doesn't need," he said. Dante had to think about it.
He asked Joe what he'd do if he knew the WSB wanted them to stay out of it. Joe said he'd still investigate because he knew the WSB had screwed up. Joe didn't want to be another Chase (that would be quite a feat), so he asked for Dante's permission to investigate. Dante gave it to him. "What have you got so far?" Dante asked. All Joe could say was, "Ava Jerome."
After Joe left, Gio popped in and told Dante about his new living arrangements. Dante was pleased to know he had moved out of Sonny's place, but worried when Gio told him that part of him believed Sonny and wasn't sure he did it. "What about all the evidence that says otherwise?" Dante asked. Gio understood the evidence, but his gut told him that Sonny didn't do it.
What is Ava Up To?

Ava found Lucas by the nurses' hub and asked if he "could put in a good word with that handsome roommate of yours." Ava explained that Joe had questioned her about Jack's disappearance since she had drinks with him the night he vanished. She just wanted Lucas to help throw Joe off her scent. "I don't want him to be misled or get the wrong impression of me. So, will you just smooth things over for me?" she asked.
Lucas wasn't sure it was his place. "My gut's telling me to stay out of it," Lucas said. Ava pulled the Nina card and asked if she was next. "Just because I happened to have a martini with the man," she said. Finally, Lucas agreed to help. "It's time we get Joe on the right track. He's told me how interested he is in Brennan's disappearance," Lucas said. "I don't think he'll stop unless he solves it."
As Ava headed toward the elevators, Agent Baines stopped her. She launched into an offended tirade about how he had abducted her friend right in front of her the last time they met. Baines told her that witnesses had come forward saying she had drinks with Jack right before he disappeared.
Portia put a stop to the talk and rescued her friend. Baines warned Ava she'd hear from him. Portia then warned Ava that she was about to have a problem with Drew. She warned Ava to stay away from him. She then visited Curtis and told him she'd help him if he agreed to accept Isaiah in their lives. Curtis agreed.
When Lucas was walking the halls, he ran into Joe and led him into the break room to talk about his Aunt Ava. "Someone has clearly given you the wrong idea about her," Lucas said. Lucas laid it on thick, saying that his aunt had cleaned up her act years ago. When Lucas was done, Joe was more suspicious than ever. He knew that Ava had put Lucas up to this. "I'm sorry, Lucas, but that is a major red flag," Joe told a flustered Lucas. So, Lucas tried to backtrack and said that Ava had just been worried that she'd offended Joe.
"When Ava said that I had been misled, did she also tell you she was the last person spotted with Jack Brennan the night he was last seen?" Joe asked. Lucas had to do a double take with that info.
When Ava stopped into the PC Grille for a drink, she noticed Scout and Drew talking. She then gave Alexis a call and told her she was collecting on a favor. As for Baines, he walked into an interrogation room to talk to Nina. "Apparently, we might have rushed to judgment," he said.
Is Danny being unreasonable? What is Ava about to do to Drew? Did Drew anger you when he spoke of Sam? Sound off in the comments.
