GH Recap October 29: Jerry Jacks' Son Staked His Claim on Phoebe

On the Thursday, October 29, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Phoebe's dad identified himself, Chase ran right to Willow, Carly made a discovery, Anna had a breakthrough, and Dante and Lulu baked some yummy cupcakes.

Brook Lynn opened the door to Britt's mystery man and was shocked when he said he was there to see his daughter. She thought he had the wrong house, but he knew he was looking for the Quartermaine estate. The man explained that his name was Jude Jacks and he was Jerry Jax's son, making him Josslyn's cousin. He also told a stunned Brook Lynn that he was Phoebe's father.

Brook Lynn didn't believe Jude at first because Alexis had said that the father had signed over parental rights. Jason and Tracy walked into the foyer to see what the commotion was all about as Jude explained that he had been looking for Delilah Wilson for months and had learned she had died. He finally knew where his baby was and he had not signed over parental rights. That meant the adoption was not legal.

Jude said that he understood that Brook Lynn was not aware of all this and told her that he would be in touch. A devastated Brook Lynn, after signing divorce papers she never wanted to sign the day before, ran upstairs to look at her baby and tell her that she was not about to let her go.

Meanwhile, Jason and Tracy didn't like what they saw. Jason warned Tracy that Jude would be a problem, but they also wanted to investigate his claims before they made another move.

The oblivious adopted father was over at the gatehouse telling his precious ex-wife about his new ex-wife. The first ex-wife was very understanding, telling Chase that co-parenting can work if you put the effort in. Chase was so happy that Willow always knew what to say to make things better.

As Chase and Willow practically gazed into each other's arms, Brook Lynn knew where to go. She found her new ex-husband after banging on the door at the gatehouse. An hysterical Brook Lynn told Chase that someone was trying to take Phoebe from them.

Alexis Holds Court

Willow's lawsuit against Lulu was a hot topic of conversation at the Miller & Davis office, where Ric showed up to try to help his client. He wanted Alexis to get Monet to drop the libel case, but Alexis realized Ric thought he would lose. She advised Ric to get Lulu to print a retraction.

Ric figured he'd at least try. He really wanted this case wrapped by Thanksgiving. Cody and Molly had invited him and Elizabeth to Alexis' house, something Alexis was not aware of. Alexis promised to be on her best behavior, but will she?

After Ric left, Jude showed up. He had learned that Alexis was the best lawyer in town. Alexis' jaw was on the floor when Jude told her who his dad was.

Therapy Time

Valentin and Anna had another joint therapy session, where they did a deep dive into her younger years with the WSB, as well as all the ways in which Faison was obsessed with Anna and tried to break her. The WSB had initially assigned her to Cesar because her mother had been his nanny, so there was a connection, but it was Valentin who reminded Anna that she felt challenged, so she contacted him all on her own.

Anna was stunned to hear this and realized she had suppressed this memory and now blamed herself for all the years that Faison had made her life a living nightmare. Valentin refused to allow Anna to blame herself. She was a naive teen who wanted to prove herself.

Valentin needed Anna to forgive herself, so Dr. Nichols gave her an exercise. She told Anna to keep repeating, "It wasn't my fault." It took a bit, but Anna finally said what she needed to say.

When the session was over, Anna thanked Valentin for coming. She was relieved he had insisted when she hadn't wanted him to join her last week. The old lovers admitted they would always be in each other's hearts.

While Valentin was in therapy with Anna, Joe questioned Carly about the night that Jack disappeared. Carly soon sensed that Joe thought she was a person of interest, so she shut him down. Later, she watched the security footage from the night Jack vanished. She then called Valentin and told him that Charlotte and Danny were nosing around the Metro Court that night. Uh-oh. Will Danny now have a confession to make?

Bake Me a Cupcake

Dante kept his promise and stopped by Elizabeth's house to help her bake cupcakes for the community center Halloween party. With Aiden already gone, somebody had to do it, but Aiden did not pick up his baking skills from his mom. Dante was also a support for a lonely Elizabeth, who was also now an empty nester. With Aiden gone, Elizabeth had no more kids to take care of.

Later, a reporter called and asked Elizabeth for a comment about Lulu's article. Liz refused to give one. Dante said he was sorry that Lulu's predicament now had Elizabeth in a predicament, as well. Elizabeth admitted that she was still angry at Lulu.

The little baking session couldn't end without Elizabeth having some flour on her cheek, hair, and ear that Dante wiped off, so that's exactly what happened. Will something else happen sometime before 2027?
