On the Tuesday, October 6, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Lulu exercised her First Amendment rights as a reporter. Plus, Valentin offered some great advice without his mustache, Jason and Serena had to check for ticks, and Anna felt she could finally get rid of Faison.

JJE and Me

At the Metro Court Gardens, Josslyn told Hudson that she could turn JJE into a company that does something useful. Hudson took offense by that remark, but Josslyn had a plan. "I am going to use JJE to bankrupt and destroy Sonny Corinthos," Josslyn announced.

Hudson said her father wouldn't want that. Josslyn begged to differ. "Sonny is the bane of my father's existence. The two of them have been fighting like cats and dogs since before I was born," she said. Hudson was horrified at Josslyn's idea and gave her a warning. "JJE is not a toy for you to use to carry out some personal vendetta," he said.

Josslyn assured Hudson that JJE could multi-task. Adding Sonny's businesses was a bonus for JJE and nothing else about the company would change. After Josslyn laid out her plan, Hudson said he was impressed.

Willow Make Sense

Willow and Chase returned to her gatehouse, where she was ready for a glass of wine. "It'll make up for all the other times I've seen you walking around the estate at night and haven't asked you in," she said with a smile. Chase apologized to Willow for unloading on her earlier, but Willow didn't see a problem.

"You're the one who said we didn't have to keep our distance anymore. Unless you changed your mind and think you and I shouldn't spend time together," Willow said. She then poured some wine and asked Chase to stay a while. After all, they were friends.

They sat down on the couch, where Willow hoped that Chase would trust her enough to share. "Sometimes I feel you're the only one I can trust," Chase said. He had wanted his marriage to work, but didn't see how it could. Willow tried to play marriage counselor for Chase, suggesting they go back to basics.

Chase told Willow that Brook Lynn had suggested getting their own place. She felt that was a great idea, but he explained why he refused. Even Willow thought that Chase was being paranoid. "Brook Lynn loves you. Do you really think she would do something that cold and calculating?" Willow asked. Chase didn't want to think so, but he couldn't be sure.

Jason and Serena Take a Chemistry Test

Outside the Q kitchen, Jason remained perplexed as Serena hung from a window upside down. She told him she had snuck up to the bedroom to rescue a bird sanctuary. When Jason finally helped her down, she landed on his foot. She said she wasn't going over there until the falcons were safe.

Jason said he'd just explain to Tracy that harming the falcons was a credible crime. Serena didn't think that was good enough. Serena wanted to move the nest to the nature preserve by the crypt. She explained that the birds would find their nest. "Even you have to admit they deserve more than Tracy turning them into a hat," Serena said.

Jason was convinced and went upstairs to do it himself. When he was done, Serena was thrilled, but warned Jason that they both needed to check for ticks right away.

Brook Lynn's Other Baby Daddy

In the living room, a forlorn Brook Kynn stared at pictures of her family on her phone. She was surprised when Valentin suddenly appeared, sans mustache. Brook Lynn accused him of trespassing. Valentin noted that he used to be able to come and go as he pleased when she let him believe she'd had his baby.

Valentin was there to give Danny a gift from Charlotte, but Danny wasn't around. Valentin said he'd come back before being nice to Brook Lynn. He said he was sorry for whatever put her in this mood. "You shouldn't be. Consider it karmic payback for what I did to you," Brook Lynn said.

She told Valentin that her marriage was over and maybe she deserved it. "After all, I did fake a pregnancy and told you that the baby was yours. Maybe it's only fair that my marriage and seemingly happy family implode," she said.

Valentin begged to differ. He never thought she was a good match for Chase. "Cause I am a liar and a manipulator and Chase is honest to a fault?" Brook Lynn asked. "Well, yeah," Valentin smiled. He was clearly still highly impressed that Brook Lynn had gotten one over on him.

Brook Lynn admitted she was exhausted. "Is that from trying to save your marriage or playing the role of the dutiful and gracious wife?" Valentin asked. "It seems to me that you were never your authentic self with Chase. It seems you were just playing the role of someone he could love," he added, maybe correctly so.

As Brook Lynn continued to open up, she said, "I just wish someone could open Chase's eyes to who Willow really is."

Someone to Open Chase's Eyes...

Elizabeth was curious when Lulu approached her at the nurses' hub and asked to speak to Jenz Sidwell for a story she was working on. Liz said he had just been through surgery and was still too groggy. Lulu didn't care and stuck around. She later approached Felicia and asked how Maxie was doing. Felicia told her she was sure Maxie would love to hear from her, which made Lulu happy.

When Elizabeth entered Sidwell's room, she gave him an update on his health. He thanked Elizabeth for being kind to him, considering how much she hated him. "Mr. Sidwell, you are my patient, and just like all the other patients here, you will receive the best care...but let's be perfectly clear. I despise everything you've done," she said.

After Elizabeth left Sidwell's room, Lulu snuck in while wearing scrubs and Felicia's name tag. Sidwell was so very excited to see her. "Lulu Spencer, moonlighting as a nurse these days, are we?" he asked. Lulu explained she was there to get a story. So, let's see what Sidwell has to say about a variety of matters. "I'd be delighted to tell you my side of the story," he beamed.

"They entrapped a grieving father," Sidwell sighed as he began his tale. He told Lulu that there were people far more guilty than him walking the streets. Lulu asked who those people might be. "Well, Sonny Corinthos for one. And there's Dr. Britt Westbourne. Oh, and also Willow Tait," Sidwell said.

With that, Lulu perked up. "Hold that thought," she said, as she started recording. "You mean, Congresswoman Willow Tait?" she asked. "One and the same," Sidwell said with glee.

Therapy With Anna Devane

Anna met up with Felicia outside the GH elevators before her therapy appointment. Felicia asked Anna if she had heard from Robert recently. Felicia had news. Robert and Holly told Mac that they were coming for a visit before the end of the year because Robert had to close out his cases at the DA's office.

When Anna got to her session, she explained she was a bit triggered after learning that her ex-husband was going to permanently settle in France with the woman in his life. Anna opened up about her relationship with Robert, noting that "his partner is not exactly someone I would have picked for him."

Anna admitted the idea of Robert in France made her think of her time in the French mental hospital. "I was kept there in that room with just my demons for company," she said. Anna explained that she had always been able to compartmentalize Faison until her ordeal. Compartmentalizing was something she learned to do during adolescence.

"Some things can be so painful that you don't want to spend too much time with them because they'll suffocate you," Anna cried. The doctor wanted to know why it was so hard for Anna to compartmentalize Faison. Anna explained that since Faison was fixated on her, she couldn't put him in a box. It was also hard for her to leave him behind. "I've never been able to do that, but now I think I can," Anna asserted.
