On the Wednesday, October 7, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Lulu started putting two and two together and getting...Willow. Plus, Drew threatened to send Scout to boarding school, Carly gave Anna her blessing, and Alexis nearly lost her mind.

At the Bad Jen Cafe, Lulu sat with Drew, who was surprised by her invitation. She told him she wanted to write a hero's story about him. "In my opinion, the world needs to know how you battled back against all odds," Lulu said. "You lived everyone's worst nightmare, being locked inside your body, fully dependent on those around you."

Lulu intrigued Drew when she said it was time to reframe the narrative and put the spotlight on Drew and not on Willow. "From the public perspective, my recovery happened overnight, but that couldn't be further from the truth," Drew said. "I fought my way back, inch by inch. It probably helped that I was in the best shape of my life before the stroke.

Drew tried to arrange for a time to talk more later, but hesitated when Lulu pulled out a HIPAA waiver to talk to his doctors. He signed it anyway.

Not a Coincidence

At GH, Lucas told Elizabeth how uncomfortable it was for him to have Sidwell as a hospital patient. Liz told Lucas that Lulu had been there to see Sidwell, but she'd turned her away. "If anything, she gave up a little too easily," Elizabeth noted. Lucas said he knew that Curtis was just collateral damage in the attack, so Liz asked if Lucas believed Sonny was behind it.

Lucas admitted that he knew how much Sonny hated Sidwell. Elizabeth noted that Sonny being behind the attack made sense. "I'm just worried about what that's doing to Dante," Elizabeth said. (Um, Ric who?)

Later, Elizabeth was perplexed when Lulu showed up with the waiver. She asked to speak to Drew before handing them over. When Elizabeth returned, she said Lulu could have the files, but was surprised Drew had agreed to this. Lulu explained she was doing a story on his "stroke," from the time he was brought into the ER to his recovery.

Elizabeth was happy to talk to Lulu since she was on duty when Willow rushed him in. Elizabeth informed Lulu that Willow's medical knowledge helped them diagnose a stroke immediately, and that she was there through every step of his recovery. Lulu spoke with Lucas next, asking him if it was odd that Willow cared for Drew at home.

Elizabeth stood aside, making faces and nodding as Lucas told Lulu how unusual Drew's entire situation was. Lucas admitted that Drew was his first patient with locked-in syndrome, but he since had one more — Jack Brennan. Elizabeth chimed in, telling Lulu how similar Jack's and Drew's cases were.

They took Lulu aside to tell her all about how odd Jack's stroke was. It also took place in Drew's living room. "It's quite a coincidence that two healthy men both suffered strokes in the same house within six months of each other and both ended up with locked-in syndrome," Lucas said. "And both made a full recovery," Elizabeth added.

Fight Song

Molly got Alexis to Sonny's boxing gym for some exercises to help with her osteoporosis. Alexis was immediately in pain as soon as she hit a punching bag. As they lifted dumbbells, Alexis got distracted when Rocco and Dante walked in. Alexis decided to say hello, which resulted in her overhearing that Danny punched Rocco.

"Danny and I got into a fight. It was no big deal," Rocco said. Dante took Rocco aside to teach him some defensive moves, while Alexis lamented to Molly. She was worried about Danny. "The fact of the matter is, both of Sam's kids are being failed by their fathers," Alexis said.

Molly defended Jason and noted that he had taken Danny's license away. "Jason should get Father of the Year compared to Drew, who is a complete and utter failure as a father. Scout will never know the truth about what an obnoxious, creepy, cruel manipulator he is, who only cares about himself," Alexis said, just as Drew appeared behind them.

"I knew you were bad-mouthing me to Scout," Drew accused, but Molly pointed out she was bad-mouthing him to Molly. "How is Scout supposed to feel safe when you and Molly are undermining the only parent that she's got left?" Drew asked. He even threatened to send Scout to boarding school if Alexis violated the restraining order. Rocco was not happy to hear that when he and Dante were leaving.

Alexis and Drew sparred some more to the point where Alexis picked up a heavy weight as Drew left. Molly assured her mother that things were not as bad as they seemed. And she may have been right. Drew quickly called Lulu back and said, "I'm looking forward to telling the world all about the obstacles that I've overcome."

Sam's Kids

Scout found Danny in the gatehouse while he was babysitting Wiley and Amelia. Danny was cold to Scout and didn't want to let her in. "I thought you hated me, so why risk it?" he asked. Danny finally let Scout in and asked why her brother hadn't told her what Rocco said about Sam.

"You shouldn't have punched Rocco, but I shouldn't have called you a thug," Scout admitted. Danny said he and Rocco were no longer friends, but Scout didn't buy it. She wanted her boyfriend and brother to make up. Danny was still angry at Rocco for ratting out Charlotte. "Rocco was just trying to impress you," Danny said.

Danny wanted to know why Scout cared if he and Rocco were friends. "I just think that you and Rocco have been through a lot together, and I don't think you should throw your friendship away over some stupid fight," she said. Danny admitted he wasn't sure he could see Rocco the way he used to. Before Scout left, she and Danny had made up.

Scout later met Rocco outside the Bad Jen Cafe and told Rocco she was glad he didn't ask her to choose between him and Danny. When they sat down for a snack, Rocco warned Scout that nobody could ever find out they were an item.

As for Dante, he headed to the gatehouse to see Danny and talk about Rocco. Dante told Danny that Rocco was not happy about their teenage BFF breakup.

Moving In...

In the Q kitchen, Emma and Gio were looking at apartments when Tracy walked in and suggested Gio could just live there. She was glad he was no longer living with Sonny. When Gio told her that Emma was also going to live with him, she gave them their blessing to find their own place.

Gio told Tracy that he had to leave his grandfather's house because he didn't believe him to be the one behind the Pentonville attack. "I think you made a wise decision, but I'm sorry, Gio," Tracy said. "You tried to warn me that there was another side of Sonny and I didn't believe you," Gio said.

Gio wished he had listened to Tracy sooner. "The pain you're feeling now? That's what I was trying to protect you from," Tracy said.

A Frank Talk

Carly welcomed Anna to her office to talk about Josslyn. Anna had thought that Josslyn had put the WSB behind her to run JJE. Carly hedged and said that wasn't necessarily the case. Anna sat down with Carly to hear her out. Carly asked Anna to be Josslyn's mentor, but Anna had to turn her down.

"Between Valentin and Jason, you must know what I almost did to Britt," Anna said. "Neither one of them would violate your confidence," Carly replied, surprising Anna. Carly was shocked to hear that Anna had been hallucinating and tried to kill Britt.

Carly apologized for even asking Anna to talk to Josslyn. She hadn't realized exactly what Anna had just gone through. Anna explained that she didn't trust her own judgment at the moment to give Josslyn advice. Carly said she had an inkling of what Anna had gone through.

"I was in that room, but I wasn't alone. I can't imagine how awful it was for you to be stuck in that room for so long without anyone else," Carly said.

Anna explained that her therapist wanted her to bring someone into their sessions who knew Faison, but she could only think of Robert and Valentin, and Robert was in Europe. "Valentin will want to help you. If you give him the chance, I will be grateful," Carly said, again surprising Anna.

Anna explained that it was also a hard time in Valentin's life and it was best left in the past. She then got blunt. "Carly, Valentin's feelings for me have bordered on obsessive and he's managed to move past that. I don't want to dredge it up," she said.

Anna asked why her mental health was so important to Carly. "Because when I look at you, I see my daughter's future," Carly said. Anna just wanted to know how the idea of Valentin doing therapy with someone he once loved didn't bother Carly. She gave her an honest answer. She'd do anything for Jason the way that Valentin would do anything for Anna.

Has Carly shown enormous character growth? Should Alexis conk Drew over the head? Sound off in the comments.
