On the Friday, October 9, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Dante got quite a surprise when he talked to Sidwell, Willow turned on the lies for Chase, Sonny had another letdown, and Justine had a confession to make.
Willow's World

In the gatehouse, the virtuous flower known as Willow told Chase that she couldn't drag him into her mess. Even Britt told Chase that Willow had it covered. Chase didn't care. He told Willow to sue for libel, despite every word of that story being true. "Do not let the Quartermaines win," he said.
Britt pointed out that Willow shouldn't be sent back to court, but Chase disagreed. She was on offense last year. This year it would be defense. "She has to take Lulu to court and force her to admit that the Quartermaines fabricated this story from the beginning. Because Willow would never do something like this. Keeping Drew in a wheelchair? It's insane," he declared.
"What do you want more, Chase? To punish the Quartermaines or protect Willow?" Britt asked, as Willow took this all in. The audience could smell the wood burning in her warped little mind. Since Willow can only go through life if the world sees her as a victim, she gave Chase's idea some thought.
Britt suggested that she just offer a short statement denying the allegations and move on, but Willow was sure something more could be done. Yes, the story was true (she couldn't tell Chase that), but suing for libel seemed like it could be a good idea.
Britt reminded Willow that Sidwell was a bad source and she was a beloved congressman, so they should just let the story blow over. Willow told Britt that it was nice that she stopped by, but she could leave now. Britt took the hint and left for work.
Once alone, Chase continued to try to convince Willow that they had to take this true story to court. "Maybe that's what Michael wants. For me to push back on the story so it will look more valid," Willow said, playing the victim once again. She must have felt such relief.
Sonny's World

Emma and Anna sat down for tea at the Bad Jen Cafe, where Emma asked her grandmother to be a cosigner on a lease. Anna was fascinated and excited by this news, but warned Emma that it was a big step. "We were practically living together when you were in France," Emma noted.
Anna was so happy for Emma that she even offered to pay the deposit, but she refused to put together furniture. Finally, Emma told Anna the real reason for the move. Gio could no longer live with Sonny. They discussed the Pentonville situation and how torn Gio was between Sonny and Trina. She also noted that Gio was afraid to hurt Sonny.
At Sonny's place, Gio told Sonny he was moving out and moving in with Emma. Sonny asked Gio if his move was something he decided on his own or was because he thought he was behind the Pentonville attack. Gio told Sonny how much he meant to him, but he admitted he wasn't sure if he could believe him.
Sonny understood. "Gio, you're in a tough spot and I don't want to make it tougher. I'm sorry about yesterday. Your father's a good man and a good cop. I would never ask you to go against him," Sonny said.
Gio told Sonny that this was his decision. Dante had nothing to do with it. Gio explained that he felt he had to move out because of Trina. Sonny again understood. "You're a terrific friend. A terrific grandson. And I love ya," Sonny said. "Whenever everyone everywhere thinks you're guilty, I guess that's payback for the life that I lived."
Emma stopped by while Gio was in his room packing. Sonny was surprised when Emma made it clear that she believed he was behind the attack. Sonny swore he did not give the order, but he understood why Emma was on Trina's side. "But I'm going to prove that I'm innocent for Gio's sake," Sonny said,
Chase promised to be there for Willow, as he knew how hard it was to go up against big, bad Qs. "I'll be with you every step of the way," Chase said.
Anna's World

In the PCPD interrogation room, Justine told Dante she was impressed with Lulu's article. "How'd she manage to get this interview with Sidwell?" she asked. Dante had no idea, but said that his ex-wife was a resourceful reporter. Justine wondered if Dante could have been one of Lulu's unnamed sources. Dante claimed he hadn't spoken to Lulu.
"But Lulu drugging Drew? Sounds interesting, right?" Dante asked. Justine was surprised that Dante believed the allegations. Dante knew Lulu would never make something like that up. Justine was willing to prosecute, but what if Lulu got the story wrong?
She couldn't imagine why Drew wasn't cited in the article. Dante suggested they talk to them both. Just then, Anna arrived at Justine's behest. She had called her over because she needed her expertise as a former WSB agent. Justine showed Anna the story about Willow and wanted to know if the WSB had a drug that could lead to locked-in syndrome.
Anna confirmed that they indeed did and Sidwell could have gotten access to it, but Anna didn't think the story made sense. "Why would Sidwell talk to Lulu? I don't see what he stands to gain by admitting to being a part of this," Anna wondered. Dante wondered the same, so he left to talk to Sidwell.
Justine asked Anna to stay to talk about Sonny. She brought up when she had accused Anna of protecting Sonny. Anna understood that Sonny had a way of drawing people in. Justine admitted she'd fallen into that trap herself. She no longer trusted herself to be objective and asked Anna to look over the evidence in the Pentonville attack.
Sidwell's World

At GH, Curtis was shocked to hear that Monet was Jordan's little sister. "Jordan doesn't have a sister," Curtis said. Monet explained that she and Jordan had never been particularly close, but Curtis noted that Jordan had never even mentioned a sister.
Monet explained that she was Jordan's half-sister, as they shared the same mother. Curtis said he had asked Jordan about her family over the years, but she never wanted to talk about it. Monet informed Curtis that she and Jordan had already met recently, but she apparently didn't want to talk about it with Curtis.
"Gosh, it would be a shame if Jordan were keeping secrets from you," Monet said. Curtis said he'd talk to Jordan about it when she returned from Germany. He was more concerned with Monet's real angle. She said she just thought he didn't get a fair trial and wanted to help. She added, "Jordan has no idea what I'm capable of. She only sees me as her little sister who can't do anything right."
Tristan was on hand to be there when Isaiah spoke with Sidwell. As soon as Sidwell saw Isaiah, he said, "You can't be my doctor. Why would you save my life when you have every reason to want me to die?" Isaiah explained that he gives his patients equal care.
Isaiah had Tristan explain the open-heart surgery he had just performed, since he was the one who had saved Sidwell's life. Sidwell, who is always hilarious, was even more hilarious, as he was on drugs and claimed he was in no pain at all. He also wondered if Curtis survived. "Or are you this smug because he's dead?" Sidwell asked Isaiah.
Isaiah told him that Curtis was alive and would recover. Sidwell commented on the fact that Isaiah saved both his and Curtis' lives despite his feelings. Isaiah said that he was glad they were at least going back to Pentonville. "Well, that is the plan. As you know, plans can change," Sidwell said.
Later, Sidwell was thrilled to see his old pal Britt. "You must be here to gloat," he cheered. Britt admitted that this was satisfying for her. She also had news for Sidwell. "I just found out that you forced Willow to drug Drew to keep him in a wheelchair. How unlike you," she said, sarcastically.
Sidwell was surprised Willow would tell her that. Britt informed a very surprised Sidwell that he was the one who did it. He told everyone. Via Lulu Spencer. Britt showed him the story. "What complete and utter nonsense. How can anyone print such nonsense?" Sidwell exclaimed.
"You mean Lulu didn't stop by to interview you?" Britt asked. "I thought it was a dream," Sidwell replied. Britt understood that Cullum must have gotten Sidwell the drug, which Sidwell admitted. Britt then tried to convince Sidwell to retract his statement.
Dante was the next visitor. "Are you here to protect your ex-wife or your father?" he asked. When Dante mentioned the article, Sidwell shouted, "Lies! Nothing but lies!"
Should someone push Chase into the lake? (An eternal question.) Do you like Britt being Willow's new BFF? Sound off in the comments.
