GH Recap September 22: Sonny and Justine are Caught in the Act, Charlotte's Life Changes Forever

On the Tuesday, September 22, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Sonny and Justine took too big a chance; Valentin learned he created a monster, Carly did damage control, and Anna and Britt came face-to-face.

At the Brown Dog

Sonny and Justine ran into one another at the Brown Dog, where they tried to play it cool and act as if they only casually knew one another. Justine sat down with Jordan, who toasted to finally having the time to catch up. Justine admitted she was there to explain why "there won't be serious charges lodged against Brook Lynn Quartermaine."

Justine explained what we all knew. Brook Lynn did not actually commit a serious crime, so how could she file charges against her? Since Jordan was once law enforcement, she understood how the actual law worked, unlike Curtis. "Now that the truth is out, I think the best thing for everyone, especially me, is to just let it go and move forward," Jordan said.

Justine also confided her campaign plans in Jordan. She planned to run for district attorney now that Robert Scorpio was stepping down. Jordan offered to give her public endorsement.

Sonny sat down with Jason, who told him that he had to help a friend who was in an intense situation, but he couldn't say much more. Just then, Britt walked in. Sonny noted her presence, so Jason turned around. Britt just glared at him and walked away.

"I'm guessing Britt was not the friend you helped out," Sonny surmised. Jason explained that he thought he and Britt had a shot, but he realized that he just couldn't give Britt what she wanted. He explained that he couldn't trust Britt. "If I don't have that kind of faith in her, then what are we doing? It's not fair for us to stay together," Jason said.

Sonny tried to look on the bright side and tell Jason that he would find someone else. "There's a big world out there. A lot of surprises in life," he said, looking over at Justine.

Nighttime Fitness

Anna, Emma, and Felicia warmed up for an evening workout class at the Aurora Wellness Center, but were stopped in their tracks when Britt walked in. "Don't shoot," she deadpanned. "What's up? Just working out? Wishing you'd finished the job?"

As expected, Emma immediately took Britt to task for making jokes. Anna stopped Emma. "Obviously, I'm unarmed," Anna said, with a slight smile. "Pardon me if I don't take your word for it," Britt said, before walking away. Later, Britt found Emma filling her water bottle and set things straight.

"Listen, when someone lures you into the woods and holds you at gunpoint, then you can tell me when I can joke with the person who pointed the gun at me," Britt said. She pointed out that she hadn't pressed charges, but it was still hard to watch everyone "throw Anna a parade" when she was still the town pariah.

Anna interrupted the argument as Felicia dragged Emma away. Anna apologized to Britt for everything. "I'll always regret what I did to you and I'll move heaven and Earth to try to make amends for it...if you let me," Anna asked. Britt said they were even since she didn't help her at Wyndemere. "I really did mean to come back for you, though. I know you have no reason to believe that, but maybe one day you will," Britt said.

Anna said there is one thing she tries to remember about Britt. "Your father, in his own way, hurt you. He did as much damage to you as he did to me," Anna admitted, clearly touching a nerve with Britt.

The Other Jason

At the Q stables, Tracy cornered Danny to tell him he was in big trouble. She gave him even more tasks to make up for trying to steal another car, but was surprised when Danny didn't even complain. He was sorry he tried to take her classic car. He hadn't even seen her, but then she was right in front of the car. Tracy said she was being hard on him because he was worth it to her.

Tracy even advised Danny to do everything his dad told him to do so he could end up like Jason Quartermaine and not like Jason Morgan. She even wanted Danny to tell Jason that he tried to take Aunt Tracy's car. So, Danny texted Jason and told him he needed to talk. Jason left the Brown Dog and listened to his son's confession.

As for Sonny, when he left the Brown Dog, he found Justine in the alleyway. They began to kiss just as Jordan spotted them from afar.

The Truth About Charlotte

In Carly's office, Charlotte tried to chalk what she did up to a prank. Valentin wanted details, but Charlotte didn't want to give any. Carly warned her that she needed to tell her father or Carly would just do it. Valentin asked if Danny had put Charlotte up to whatever she had done. Valentin also braced himself to hear something terrible, which he was right to do.

Charlotte explained that she had set up her phone to take a video of her and Drew in his car. "A video? Of what?" Valentin asked, clearly terrified. Charlotte finally spit it out, horrifying her poor father. He kept his cool and asked Carly to leave. "I know it was a poor strategy, but I'll do better next time," Charlotte said. "Oh, there's not going to be a next time," Valentin told a stunned Charlotte, who was not used to Papa being angry with her.

Valentin listened in amazement as Charlotte explained her motives and her plan like they were nothing. "What were you going to do if Drew got in the car?" Valentin asked. Charlotte gave Valentin the gory details, which just made him angrier. He went over all the "what if" scenarios in which Charlotte could have gotten hurt, but Charlotte still thought this was no big deal.

Until her father shouted at her, something he had never done before. "I wouldn't have done anything you wouldn't have done yourself," Charlotte argued. Valentin listed all the times that Charlotte had done reckless things to put her life at risk. He then asked for her phone and told her she would no longer have any contact with Danny Morgan.

Charlotte immediately flipped out, but Valentin refused to budge. "You two feed off each other's worst impulses," Valentin said. Charlotte said that she was still going to see Danny at school. "Not anymore," Valentin announced.

Shhhh, Don't Tell

Dante met with Lulu at the Metro Court Gardens, where they waited for Rocco to arrive. Lulu was just going to trust that Rocco was at the Surf Lodge doing homework, which is what he had claimed. Lulu grew anxious the longer Rocco took to get there, but tried not to text him and hover.

Since they had some time to kill, Lulu put on her reporter hat and asked about Nina's arrest. Off the record, Dante admitted that he was so furious with the WSB that he'd wanted to put his fist through a wall. "But I ended up doing something much more drastic instead...Yoga," he announced.

Lulu was intrigued, but grew more fascinated when Dante mentioned doing Yoga with Elizabeth. When Lulu spotted Carly, she called her over, but Carly seemed anxious. Carly then spotted Molly and ran to her, confusing Lulu.

Carly sat down with Molly at a table and told her what had happened with Charlotte. Carly hoped that Molly could stop Scout from telling her dad what had happened. Molly understood that if Drew knew, then Danny could be in even more trouble. She also feared that Drew would keep Scout more isolated than ever.

At the Surf Lodge, Scout gazed into Rocco's eyes and told him that she'd go crazy if she couldn't see him. "All this sneaking around makes me feel I have sunk to her level," Scout said, referring to Charlotte. Rocco suggested that they stop sneaking around. Rocco wanted to talk to Drew and be honest with him.

Scout argued that Drew would never go for that. "You and Danny are like brothers. And it's not just Danny. It's who his dad is," Scout pointed out. Rocco wanted to at least take the chance. Scout just wanted to "enjoy what we have right now." So, Rocco asked what it was that they had. "I don't know. You grow up with a person and one day you just see them in a totally different way," she said.

They began kissing when Rocco received a text from his parents, reminding him that he was late for dinner. After Rocco left, Molly arrived and convinced Scout not to tell her dad what Charlotte had done.
