GH Recap September 4: Anna Takes Aim at Britt as Trina, Chase, and Jordan Learn the Car Crash Truth

On the Friday, September 4, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Trina and Chase learned the truth, Anna made her move, Drew grew furious, and Scout and Rocco enjoyed the end of their summer.

The End of an Era

In Sonny's living room, Alexis presented Sonny with loads of paperwork to sign to turn his organization legit and end his business relationship with Jason. When Rocco stopped by to pick up a lasagne for the Q party, Alexis asked him to keep his eye on Scout once they were back in school.

"You don't have to worry, Grandma. I can take care of myself," Scout said as she appeared at the door. Alexis was surprised to hear that Scout had snuck out of the house and ranted and raved about Drew after the teens left. "He treats her like a bargaining chip," Alexis declared. "Jason's out of the business. I'll be out soon. Drew is all out of excuses to keep Scout away from her family," Sonny said.

About Last Night...

Marty and Drew met in the Dawn of Drew house. Marty asked Drew if he had found what he was looking for in Jack's room. Drew said he had not, but it didn't matter because Jack was no longer an issue. Drew told Marty he concluded that Jack would just leave him alone anyway if he minded his own business. This new philosophy only confused Marty.

Soon, Drew went to get Scout and panicked when he saw that she was gone. The nanny hadn't even checked on her for hours. Drew used phone tracking to find his daughter.

At GH, Isaiah removed the tick from Ava's neck and warned her that she could end up with an infection. Thankfully, the type of tick that bit Ava didn't carry Lyme Disease, but that meant she wouldn't need an antibiotic just in case. Ava was relieved that she would be just fine.

Ava was ready to leave, but Isaiah stopped her and said he needed to report the tick to the CDC, but Ava claimed she had no idea where it bit her. Isaiah wanted to retrace Ava's steps from the last 48 hours.

Backyard Barbecue Drama

Emma helped Chase prepare Labor Day cookout food in the Q kitchen while Gio and Trina talked to Brook Lynn about their music. Chase made some small talk about Brook Lynn wanting to help Trina with her career the first time she heard her sing live. Emma informed Chase that Brook Lynn missed the live performance and only saw a recording.

In the living room, Brook Lynn asked Gio and Trina if they could perform at the cookout. They were happy to do so. In the foyer, Tracy and Michael welcomed Jordan to the party. Tracy thought that Jordan was smart to give Drew an office so they could keep a close eye on him.

Lucy was the next guest to arrive. Chase told her she could be dehydrated and took her back to the kitchen for a drink. When they got there, Chase started making some small talk, and finally found an opening to bring up how Brook Lynn came to give Lucy her Deception shares. "I actually don't know the full story behind that," Chase said.

Lucy lied and said Brook Lynn believed it was in the company's best interest. "So, it wasn't in exchange for you lying to the PCPD?" Chase asked, shocking Lucy.

After her chat with Chase, Lucy tried to run, but Brook Lynn caught her leaving. A flustered Lucy claimed she had a migraine, so she had to go. Chase then appeared and asked Brook Lynn to join him in the kitchen. When they got there, Chase began questioning Brook Lynn about the night of Jordan's accident.

"Why do you sound like you are conducting an interrogation?" Brook Lynn asked, knowing she was in trouble. Finally, Chase said it. "The fastest route between here and Charlie's is Route 91. "That puts your car on Route 91 in the same time frame as Jordan and Curtis' nearly-fatal car crash," Chase said.

Chase reminded Brook Lynn that she swore she wasn't hiding anything else when she had confessed to framing Willow, but that was a lie. Brook Lynn swore she would tell Chase everything later. "When the house isn't full of people," she said. Chase agreed to talk about it tonight. They left the kitchen, not knowing that Trina had heard every word from the patio.

She then ran to the living room and disrupted Gio's guitar performance. "It's your mother," Trina said to Gio. "When my father and Jordan crashed that night, were you the other driver who left them there to die?" Trina demanded of Brook Lynn.

This Kiss

Outside the boathouse, Scout and Rocco spent some time with Outback after he had been eyeing the lasagna in the kitchen. They decided to jump in the lake or one more swim of the season. After their swim, Rocco and Scout admitted that being with each other was the best part of the summer.

"I know that this is going to sound cheesy, but I feel like you're the only one who actually gets me," Scout said. Rocco said he felt the same. Then, they kissed. While they kissed, Outback snuck off and dug at Jack's makeshift grave.

Anna Traps Britt

Anna and Jason ran into one another at the shooting range, where Jason told Anna that he still had enemies. Anna ominously said that she understood. At GH, Britt told Tristan that she had a whole three days off and would start her long weekend with Jason at the Q Labor Day party.

Britt later received a call from Anna asking to meet her on Mt. Emerson so she could give her information about Cassius. Tristan overheard the conversation and found Britt's attitude to be odd when she left. When Jason arrived to pick her up, Tristan told him she went to do a favor for her mother on Mt. Emerson.

Jason quickly called Sonny and asked about his land on Mt. Emerson. Sonny walked away from Alexis to tell Jason that Anna was trying to buy a piece of that land. Jason then called Britt and got her voicemail. As for Sonny, he was ready to walk Alexis out when Drew began banging on his door, looking for Scout.

Meanwhile, Anna prepared for Britt's arrival. When Britt got there, she asked why they were so far out of town. "So nobody can hear you scream," Anna said, as she trained a gun on Britt.
