On the Wednesday, September 9, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Jason talked Anna down, Chase gave Willow some news, Britt freaked out, and Brook Lynn's guilt over almost nothing got the best of her.
The End of Peter?

On Mt. Emerson, Jason begged Anna to give him the gun and let Britt go. However, Peter appeared and told Anna that she couldn't trust Jason because he was in love with Britt. Anna started talking to Peter, which surprised Jason and Britt, as they had no idea who she was talking to. "What if he's right? What if I am playing right into your hands?" she asked.
Anna then cocked her gun and declared that she couldn't take the chance and had to end this now. Jason reasoned that she'd be haunted by Faison and his offspring forever if she pulled the trigger. "Don't listen to him. Britt knew you were a prisoner and did nothing to save you," Peter hissed.
Anna screamed at Hallucination Peter that he was just like his father, but Britt thought she was talking about her. "I won't let you beat me," Anna cried as she shot at Peter, which was actually the air. Jason jumped on Britt to cover her, but Anna just stood there, crying and shaking.
Jason stood up and took the gun from a dazed Anna. Jason yelled for Britt to run as Anna fell into his arms. When Anna had her wits about her again, she thanked Jason for being there. "Thank God you showed up. If you hadn't, Britt would be dead," she said. Anna began talking about "he," but realized Jason had no idea who she was referring to. She finally admitted that she had been seeing Peter.
Anna detailed how she had been seeing Peter since she was locked in Wyndemere and he seemed to be the only one who would listen to her. It was Peter who told her to just tell the doctors what they wanted to hear. Anna was beside herself because she could have killed Britt.
"But you didn't and you never would have pulled that trigger," Jason said. "It's because of you and who you are at your core underneath the trauma."
Junior Super Spy

In her apartment, Josslyn went over JJE business with Hudson, who gave her a surprise. "If you're really committed to the role as CEO of the company, you'll need to move to Australia," Hudson said. Josslyn said that wouldn't be happening. Hudson accused her of not wanting to leave the WSB behind.
Josslyn insisted she was on leave from the WSB and was "completely committed to running JJE." She had watched her father work from all over the world and felt that she could do the same. Josslyn also informed Hudson that she had done her homework and learned he had only been with the company for a few months.
"Why do you act like some 10-year veteran when you've only been at the company a few months? Why are you so invested in my father's company?" she asked. Hudson didn't see it as a big deal and just wanted a snack. However, he was impressed that Joss had researched him.
Suddenly, a frazzled Britt barged in and told Josslyn to get rid of Hudson because they needed to talk. When Hudson was gone, Britt asked Josslyn to call Jack, but she said he had been unavailable. Josslyn offered to help instead. "Call your WSB people right now and tell them to put a straightjacket on Anna Devane," Britt demanded.
Britt was a complete mess, telling Josslyn that Anna was crazy and tried to kill her. Britt explained what had just happened on Mt. Emerson. Josslyn didn't even believe her until Britt said that Jason was a witness. Josslyn wanted to talk to Jason first, but offered Britt a place to stay for the night.
Emma Learns the Truth

At Anna's place, Gio went on and on about his mother keeping yet another secret. Gio thought that Trina was now a victim of Brook Lynn's lies, but Emma didn't think it was enough to stop speaking to his mother. Emma didn't want to see him throw his relationship with his mom away.
"I don't know what I am supposed to do with all these feelings. I'm so angry," Gio said. Emma thought it was fine to be angry, but that you didn't abandon family just because they disappointed you.
Gio began to see Emma's point, but he still worried about Trina. Emma was sure that Trina would be fine, so Gio agreed that he couldn't give his mother the silent treatment again.
Later, when Emma was alone, Jason walked in with Anna. Emma could see there was something very wrong. Anna asked Jason to leave so she could talk to Emma, but told Jason he could come back and spend the night, as he had wanted. Once alone, Anna explained to a panicked Emma what had happened on Mt. Emerson.
Isaiah Learns the Truth

At GH, Portia and Isaiah took Kai and Trina into her office to speak privately. Trina told them that Brook Lynn was the other driver the night of the accident. Portia and Isaiah were in shock and Kai thought the whole thing fit and made sense. (Someone tell them that Jordan kissed Curtis and nearly killed Brook Lynn.) Too bad Trina didn't believe that Brook Lynn didn't know there was an accident.
Trina reasoned that if Brook Lynn had come forward, then Curtis never would have hit Isaiah. Portia reminded Trina that Curtis was responsible for his own actions. "He had no right to attack Isaiah and he had his price to pay," she said.
Later in the hospital halls, Trina announced that she was not going to move forward with a music career with Brook Lynn involved. She would never work with her again.
Fathers and Daughters

At the Q mansion, Ned assured Brook Lynn that everything would be okay once the dust settled. He gave her a good pep talk about messing up and fessing up. "It's ironic, isn't it? I didn't tell Chase what I'd done because I was petrified of losing him...Guess what? I lost him anyway. Maybe for good this time," Brook Lynn cried.
Brook Lynn once again swore that she had no idea there had been an accident and that she had only had one glass of wine. "Driving with even one drink is a risk, especially with our family's history," Ned said. Brook Lynn knew he was talking about Jason and AJ, an accident he witnessed and then took the blame for, in order to cover for AJ.
Ned was also angry at Tracy for convincing Brook Lynn to keep her secret. Brook Lynn admitted she had some reservations about Tracy's plan, but she inevitably made her own decision. Ned pointed out that Lois refused to play the Quartermaine game and Chase might give up on their family too.
When Gio appeared, Ned left him alone to talk with Brook Lynn. Gio sat down and asked Brook Lynn if this was all because of him. After all, Brook Lynn didn't stop because she was rushing to hear him perform. "Yes, I was eager to see you perform, but I didn't stop because I didn't know there had been an accident," Brook Lynn insisted.
A New World for Willow

Willow opened the door to the gatehouse to find Chase standing there. "I didn't know where else to go. My entire world just fell apart," he said. He told her that Brook Lynn was the other driver. Chase claimed he was trying to do a mitzvah by helping Trina solve this mystery. He never realized it would lead him back to Brook Lynn.
Chase then had more news for Willow. Brook Lynn was the one who set her up. "You found out all of this tonight?" Willow asked. "No, I knew about the framing part weeks ago," Chase admitted. He said that he loved Brook Lynn and didn't want her to get in trouble, so he kept the truth from Willow.
Chase explained that Brook Lynn said she had done it due to all the time he had been spending with Willow. "But she didn't just frame you. She framed you for something that she did. It makes me wonder if I know her or if I ever knew her at all," Chase said to the woman who shot her husband twice in the back.
Willow offered to be a friend to Chase, but he said he needed to figure out where he was going to sleep that night. After Chase left, Hudson lurked outside.
Is Britt wrong for wanting to go after Anna? Will Willow now go after Chase? Sound off in the comments.
