General Hospital actor Jen Ray is sharing gratitude about her current time in the spotlight on the series.

Ray, who plays Suzanne, is enjoying her time on the show as she plays the assistant to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) at the Miller & Davis law firm.

Ray shared pictures of the show on her Instagram account, including a behind-the-scenes picture of her in the General Hospital studio, She promoted her appearance on the Monday, February 2nd episode and added, “As always, I am having a blast working with the incredibly talented Nancy Lee Grahn! Check it out!” She added several pictures of her with Grahn in the post.

Several fans commented saying that they love Suzanne, and Ray replied to some of them.

The user mosiphine said, “Wild to be watching today’s episode thinking how Suzanne was SO good today and your post pops up. More Suzanne please, the people demand it!!!” She added a heart eyes emoji.

The fan 69markosteven added, “Suzanne needs to be a regular cast member pronto! You are wonderful and have chemistry with everyone!” while adding a heart emoji. The user amberjlawson added, “That is my goddess ray ray in her glory.”

The fan jerrytplummer said Suzanne needs more story on General Hospital, “I love this for you. I’m glad you’re getting more and more time. Suzanne needs a love interest.” The user sawyer.olive agreed, saying “I love your character, hopefully we can get a fun Suzanne story arc soon.”

Ray has been playing Suzanne on General Hospital since April 2025. She has earned increased airtime on the show lately while Hennesy has dealt with a broken leg suffered in October. In that time, she has won the hearts of many fans as she shows Suzanne's kind heart and a sharp intellect, delivering her opinions with calmness and warmth.

Suzanne has been a good friend to Alexis while she prepared to defend Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in her trial, and vowed to stay by her side after Willow blackmailed Alexis in the February 2nd episode. Alexis sought advice from Suzanne about the trial as well as the threats from Drew (Cameron Mathison) about keeping Alexis from seeing her granddaughter Scout (Cosette Abinante). Suzanne also helped with trial prep, giving Willow advice about her testimony and bluntly but kindly telling her that her testimony would get her convicted. Suzanne was also a calming presence for her and Alexis during the trial.

This is Ray’s second character on General Hospital. She played the psychic Chelsea Lam from 2019 to 2022, helping characters communicate with dead loved ones and giving mysterious messages.

The Illinois native is best known for a recurring role on all nine seasons of the ABC sitcom The Middle, which ran from 2009 to 2018 and starred Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn. Ray has recently appeared in the Netflix TV series Monster and The Amazon Prime series Thee Third Act.
