Jack's Last Prediction on General Hospital is Dangerously Close to Coming True

This week on General Hospital, Carly is going to find herself in the hot seat when Agent William Baines wants to know about that argument she witnessed between Nina and Jack Brennan the day before he disappeared. Carly doesn't even know what that argument was about, but if she had heard Jack's declaration to Nina, she would have nodded her head.

Jack Knew the Truth

Nina (Cynthia Watros) had found Jack (Chris McKenna) at the Metro Court Gardens to cryptically warn him that he had better play ball with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) because her daughter doesn't play around. Jack already knew this, but what he didn't know was that Willow had recorded their conversation, in which he admitted to covering for her illegal acts.

With Jack dead, that's neither here nor there now, but at the time, Nina wanted Jack to do as Willow demanded to save himself. But Jack warned Nina to save herself instead. He told her the truth about her delusional and deranged daughter.

Willow wouldn't even shed a real tear if Nina died. She'd just dust herself off and move on. Jack was trying to tell Nina that Willow didn't care about her at all and only used her mother for self-preservation. Nina didn't want to hear or believe that because then she'd have to face that her only child was a monster who didn't love her after all.

Willow showed some feelings for Nina when Drew (Cameron Mathison) confronted her just after his miraculous recovery. When Nina didn't appear right away, she worried that Drew had hurt Nina, but even Jack knew that when push came to shove, Willow would throw Nina right under the bus to save herself.

She already did it last year when she told the cops that Nina had lied about their alibi the night of Drew's shooting. Then, she did it again when she got Nina's prints on that syringe. If the investigation into what happened leads right to Nina, which is likely, don't expect Willow to come to her mother's defense with exonerating evidence.

Anything Willow could say or do to help Nina would incriminate Willow, so we can't expect her to do something selfless for her own mother. As Nina goes down for Jack's murder, we fully expect Willow to just sit back and watch.
