General Hospital alum and two-time Daytime Emmy winner Bryan Craig has landed a role in a major film.
As reported by Deadline, he has recently wrapped up work on the indie feature One in a Million, which boasts a diverse cast of recognizable names. Ironically, the former General Hospital star plays a doctor in the flick.
According to its IMDb page, One in a Million is a faith-based film based on a true story. It chronicles the race to save the life of a young male, Jade Kassis, who was diagnosed with a potentially fatal blood disorder called HLH, and the impact of his illness on Jade’s family. Craig is set to play the role of Dr. Houle, one of the physicians charged with managing Jade’s condition.

Twilight alum Ashley Greene is among the stars of the film, along with Seinfeld‘s Wayne Knight, Empire grad Grace Byers (ex-Anika), Lou Diamond Phillips (Stand and Deliver), and rap superstar/reality TV pioneer Flavor Flav.
According to Deadline, Dallas native Roxton Garcia (Heels) plays young Jade. Other stars include Russell Quinn (CSI NY), Elizabeth Tabish (The Chosen), Andy Buckley (The Office), and Brad Leland (Friday Night Lights) Lucy Martin (Vikings), Ashley Bratcher (Unplanned), Harper Heath (Daisy), and Alfonso Spigner (Sistas).
Written by Tanner Beard and Cindy Kassis, One In A Million is based on Kassis’ original journals detailing her family’s medical journey. The film recently wrapped principal photography in Dallas, Texas. Director Tanner Beard (Landman) told Deadline: “Each actor brought a level of curiosity and generosity that elevated every moment on set. I can’t wait for audiences to see what they all brought to the table for this story.”
Craig played Morgan Corinthos on General Hospital from 2013 to 2016. He won two Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Younger Actor for playing the volatile and emotional son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright), a young man who battled mental illness in the same as Sonny has. He was nominated for an Emmy two other times.
Morgan died in a car bomb explosion in 2016. In 2024, Morgan appeared to Sonny in spiritual form as he contemplated jumping off the roof of General Hospital and killing himself. Morgan appeared and convinced his father not to do that.
At the time, Craig told Soap Opera Digest that “it’s a really nice compliment” that General Hospital still had him on its radar, noting, “I’m surprised that they haven’t recast the role in such a long time. I’m very grateful because I love working with Maurice, and I love what we did towards the end of that. It was so fun to be asked back and to be able to come back to further that storyline a little bit years later. I feel very privileged.”
Since he wrapped his first stint at GH, Craig has been seen several times in prime time, with lead roles on series Grand Hotel and Good Trouble, and in movies such as Women is Losers on HBO Max.
