Former General Hospital star Haley Pullos is starring in a Lifetime Network movie titled The Dating App Nightmare, which debuts Thursday, May 7, at 8 p.m. ET. The actress, who played GH's Molly Lansing-Davis, is playing Sarah, the daughter of a single mother named Kate, played by Nicky Whelan.

The comeback kid

The description of the film on Lifetime’s website reads, “Single mom Kate signs up for a dating app with her daughter Sarah, turning it into a fun bonding moment. But the fun ends fast when Sarah goes missing after a date with someone she met on the app. With little help, Kate launches her own search."

The film also stars Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Brennan Mejia, and Nikolas Elrifi. It was written by Jackie Moore and Daniel West and directed by Glenn Ciano.

Pullos shared the news on her Instagram account, posting a promotional photo from the film with her and Whelan in the spotlight. Several followers congratulated her, as well as GH star Maura West (Ava Jerome).

The film marks the first acting role for Pullos since her car accident in April 2023, when she reportedly collided head-on with another vehicle, and both drivers suffered major injuries. Pullos took a plea deal for a felony DUI charge in 2024. The other driver, Courtney Wilder, filed a civil lawsuit against Pullos and settled with the establishment where Pullos was working that night.

Pullos served three months in jail and is currently on probation for five years. The actress had her license suspended for a year and was sentenced to community service and treatment programs for alcohol and mental health. According to Pasadena Now, she had a status conference in the Pasadena Courthouse in January to monitor compliance with those terms.

Pullos has not done any interviews about the new film, but she does post regularly to her Instagram account, sharing moments from her life as she tries to restart her acting career.

Pullos, 27, began playing Molly as a preteen in 2009. Following the accident, two other actresses briefly played Molly before Kristen Vaganos permanently took over the role in the fall of 2023.

The actress was nominated in 2015 for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actress category for her role as Molly. She was also a five-time winner at the Young Artist Awards for playing Molly.

Pullos started acting since she was a child, guest-starring in notable series such as Ghost Whisperer and Knight Rider before joining GH. While on GH, she guest-starred in numerous TV series, including House, Law & Order: LA, and Criminal Minds. She also had a lead role in a Hallmark film in 2017, A Royal Christmas Ball, which also starred her former GH castmate Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jax).
