General Hospital stars are known to hop over to other daytime programs, but those are usually other soap operas. Actor Hudson West, who played Jake on GH, popped over to CBS, but he's not on any of the network's three soaps. Instead, he went on to The Price Is Right, and he won big! A New Car! View this post on Instagram Instagram PostWe could see West fitting in nicely on The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, or Beyond the Gates. He's a talented thespian who impressed GH viewers with his portrayal of Jake Webber, the son of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Instead, we saw West appear as a contestant on The Price Is Right. For decades, the top-rated game show taped across the hall from Y&R at CBS Television City in Hollywood. However, in 2023, the game show, hosted by Drew Carey, moved to Glendale, Calif. Hopefuls come from all over the United States, hoping to be chosen on the long-running game show. If they're called down to Contestant's Row, they have the chance to bid on prizes, and whoever comes closest to the actual cost -- without going over -- gets to go up on stage and try for another prize. Come on Down! Hudson West, YOU Are the Next Contestant on The Price Is Right!Elizabeth and her son, Jake | Image: JPIWest appeared on the show on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and won a car! He played the game known as "Any Number," in which he guessed numbers that appeared as price amounts in three different prizes of different values. There was a car, specifically, a brand-new Kia K4 LXS, some watches, and, finally, a piggy bank.Using six numbers, he guessed the five numbers that were the price of the car -- $25,376. Hudson had used the number "4," which popped up as the last number in the price of the watches. He did not guess any numbers that were represented in the piggy bank (whew!).Upon winning his car, West expressed enthusiasm! (Who wouldn't!?) Then, he shook Carey's hand, and then, he was urged to go over and see his new automobile! West hopped inside to check out his new wheels! West's upcoming projects include Like It Was Yesterday, a TV series on which he plays the character of Young Cole, and the movie, Forgotten Outlaw, a movie that stars Lesley Ann Warren (who played the title role in the TV version of Cinderella in 1965 opposite late GH star Stuart Damon, ex-Alan, who played Prince Charming). The Price is Right airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for times and channels.
