General Hospital star Jack Wagner had his share of romance as Frisco Jones in Port Charles. Now, the actor stars on When Calls the Heart as Bill Avery, a man no stranger to romance. The Hallmark Channel series is airing its season 13 finale tonight, and viewers can't wait for season 14, as fan favorite Lori Loughlin is returning to the show as Abigail Stanton. They also reconnected late last year, too. "We [all] did a Christmas weekend in Kansas City," Wagner tells Soap Central in this exclusive interview. "Lori and I are friends from way back, so I've been in touch with Lori. It's so great to have her back on the show. She was so well received. They had asked me to host it, so I did." Port Charles to Coal Valley View this post on Instagram Instagram PostLoughlin is an original cast member of When Calls the Heart, as Abigail, a widow, appeared in Season One. In the show's sophomore season, Abigail had a short-lived relationship with Wagner's character, only to end things after finding out that he was married. In the series 6th season, Abigail was instrumental in bringing the telephone to Hope Valley (the show's locale). Abigail came to a compromise with Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) regarding the saloon. She asked Henry (Martin Cummins) to invest in the stock market for her, but her investment failed. Eventually, Abigail moved away from Hope Valley to look after her mother, who was ill. Abigail took Cody (Carter Ryan) with her. Fortunately, her mother's condition took a turn for the better. Abigail also received a message from the late Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing), who had come to her in a dream. He had a message that he wanted Abigail to share with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow).
