Former General Hospital star Jeffrey Vincent Parise is returning to the ABC primetime series The Rookie for its season finale, which promises to be pivotal and have lots of fireworks! He plays Heath Everett, a billionaire who is in police custody for war crimes and other international scandals.The Rookie stars former One Life to Live star Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey Buchanan) in the title role of a middle-aged officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. The show has an ensemble cast, chronicling the adventures and daily lives of officers in the LAPD.Parise’s character is a charismatic baddie, much like Carlos was in Port Charles. In his first episode in February, Heath was being transported on a plane, and he hired armed mercenaries to hijack it to allow him to escape. He was free for a while in the streets of Los Angeles before being captured by Sergeant Tim Bradford (Eric Winter, ex-Rex, Days of our Lives), one of the main characters on the show. Heath bribed Bradford with $10 million to let him go, but the sergeant did not bite. Heath responded by telling him he would regret it.In ABC’s trailer for the season finale, Bradford and Heath Everett seem to be on another collision course, as Bradford prepares to propose to Lucy Chen (Melissa O’Neil), another lead character and police officer. The trailer shows Fillion’s character and others admiring the ring Bradford wants to give her.Parise’s character is again being transported, this time to a courthouse. Something seems to go wrong, and Heath gets free again.
