General Hospital fans learned this week that Jenz Sidwell was sent off to Pentonville to serve a 31-year (!) jail sentence for his various crimes against the citizens of Port Charles. However, Jenz's portrayer, Carlo Rota, revealed during GH Fan Club Weekend earlier this month that we haven't seen the last of the fan favorite villain!

Jail Time for Jenz...and Who Else?

Rota and his charming wife, Nazneen Contractor, who plays assistant district attorney Justine Turner, hosted a standing-room-only fan gathering at the Burbank Marriott hotel during GH Fan Club Weekend where Rota revealed that we will be seeing Sidwell during his stint in Pentonville, where he will have a familiar cellmate.

"I am in prison with another character from the show," Rota announced in the room. "We share a cell."

With Curtis (Donnell Turner) set to learn whether he'll be sentenced to prison for assaulting Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), he could end up becoming Sidwell's roomie. Sidwell and Jordan already have a connection, so this could become quite interesting.

Rota proved he was quite popular at his fan event with Contractor, so more Sidwell should make the GH audience very happy indeed. At Fan Club Weekend, the couple entertained attendees with stories of their relationship and what it's like to be on the popular ABC soap opera.

Before being imprisoned, Jenz was paired on-screen with Maura West's Ava. "She's not only a fantastic person and actress, but she's accomplished," raved Rota. "She has five kids. We had a great time."

One attendee shared with Rota that she wasn't sure whether he was being a good guy or a bad guy, as he could easily shift from being charming to someone who had the capacity to stab someone with a knife!

"I like this," he said. "What I try to do is play it genuine [no matter what Jenz is doing]. I think it's a stronger [choice]. I'm happy that you were confused by it." The actor adds that he likes it when viewers see his performance and walk away with a few questions.

Rota shared that he and his wife run lines with each other and that Contractor did a spot-on French accent when she read the lines of Pascal (played by Marc Forget). "There are pages and pages and pages, Rota says of the amount of dialogue he has performed. "I had many scenes with Pascal, and [Nanzeen] started doing Pascal's accent [when we rehearsed]."

"Carlo Rota is the most talented actor whom I've ever seen, and I say that not as his wife," shared Contractor, who then deadpanned, "I say that as his superior."

Contractor's comedic delivery generated an outburst of laughter from the GH fans who attended their event. "He's like a savant," the actress raves of her mate's performances. "I'm like, 'How do you do that?'"

Will we see more scenes with Rota and Contractor together in Port Charles? Stay tuned to find out.
