General Hospital Hot Plots August 17 to 21: Brook Lyn Loses It, Ric Seethes, Drew Means Trouble

General Hospital heads into a jam-packed week of hot plots from August 17 to 21, 2026. Willow's move has everyone up in arms, Ric gets another eyeful, and Drew causes problems all over town.

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is moving back to where it all started, which does not sit well with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). When she learns that the little minx will be on the property, she nearly loses it and tells Granny Tracy (Jane Elliot) that Willow has to go ASAP.

Meanwhile, Willow is already making the best of things at the boathouse where she informs a shirtless Chase (Josh Swickard) that living there won't be all bad because he's there. And Chase sees nothing at all wrong with this.

Trouble in Ric's Paradise

Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) finally got the girl, only to realize that he's going to lose her again. Ric has been uneasy with how close Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) have been growing over the last few months. When he saw them at the softball field, Ric was ready to lose it, but kept his cool. However, he might not be able to do that much longer.

Ric once again sees something between Dante and Liz that rubs him the wrong way. As Elizabeth finds herself opening up to Dante, Ric spirals, which can't be a good thing. Hopefully, he doesn't spiral in front of Elizabeth, or he might live a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Drew Gets Around

Drew (Cameron Mathison) finds himself clashing with Nina (Cynthia Watros) again this coming week, but she still thinks she can lord over him due to Jack's (Chris McKenna) black box info. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) might even come into that info, which can make a big difference for Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).

When Drew offers an olive branch, does he attempt to make amends with Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) because Alexis got to him or does he approach Jordan (Tanisha Harper)? Drew has already made amends with Curtis (Donnell Turner), but Curtis ended up in jail anyway. Will Drew want to offer his support to Jordan while Curtis is behind bars? Perhaps Drew can also offer Jordan something else she needs that Sidwell had already offered.
